The Ottoman army won the wars not because of its superiority in numbers, but thanks to its technology and professional commanders.

@@LeRoyArctos size doesn't necessarily derive greatness. And I'd say neither are really deserving of getting top 5 greatest armies due to various shortcomings (especially the German Army considering the corruption, despotism, dictatorial rule, and incredibly common supply issues)

A good argue to my last personal choice cause the army could show its strength better and win battles boldly
