@@343flyingbulb4 Thanks! Basically, Jadus returns at the start of Chapter 3 (not in person - he makes his presence known) and helps Cipher 9 take out the Star Cabal's leaders. The only thing is that this is secretly his plan to take over the Star Cabal, and he gains control of all sorts of powerful superweapons to use on both the Republic and the Empire.
Now, as for poor Cipher, his companions are the first to be killed by Jadus, and he ends up being a victim of his own hard work.
That clear, momentary, change in tone when he mentioned the revan novel though lol

Great video, though I don’t think the fact at 9:30 is a misrepresentation of KOTOR II. I think that’s supposed to be the Jedi’s interpretation of Darth Traya’s actions in canon. I don’t remember Traya ever being vocal about her motivations to anyone other than the Jedi Exile. Therefore, it would make sense that the Jedi, clearly rejecting of anything that doesn’t follow their ways, would reduce the nuanced motivation of Darth Traya to the actions of a Sith trying to destroy the force. But that’s just me.
Plus she *did* kill the three remaining masters and attacked meetra's companions, so when meetra reformed the order atton bao the handmaiden and mikal all were kinda biased against her
I’d agree with that, but I feel like the perspective was poorly explained in game. And with how they treated other key characters, I’m wondering if they even meant it that way at all

Information about SWTOR may or may not be useless. Though it is cool to think of what concepts from KOTOR 3 were used for SWTOR. I'm reasonably sure Lana was based off a companion for KOTOR 3.

@@100StarWars one piece of concept art was of a Sith Lady named Naresha, she didn't have any apparent Dark Side corruption and didn't take a Darth title despite being treated like one. In terms of personality she appeared like Dooku but in terms of design details, she's similar.

SWTOR is such a mixed bag.
On the one hand we get some very awesome class stories. On the other, we get BioWare’s B-team totally misrepresenting every single character from KOTOR 1 and especially KOTOR 2

There's also the fact that this game still has no end in sight, and even then, it could be sadly shut down... unless they keep the singleplayer RPG elements.
I'm not a real fan of this game, but it would mean so much to a lot of people if they at least keep this an RPG after the MMO servers will be gone in the future.
I would highly recommend giving them a go if you're a SWTOR fan. But I understand their age can be off putting for some.
I logged into the game after a 1 year absence and i was pleasantly surprised seeing so many players around. Both the Republic and Empire hubs and starting planets where filled with people.
Part of what helps is that the game is free to play, with the option to subscribe. Secondly multiple servers shut down to form a consolidated list, I remember there being like 5 just for the east coast of the USA. Now I think there is a single east coast, west then a EU server. Plus Bioware keeps adding content for the players to enjoy.

I like how despite everything Revan, Bastilla, and the rest of the crew of the Ebon Hawke fought for, the Jedi were just like "nah, love is for the Sith" and continued on as if nothing had happened, nevermind like 5 Jedi civil wars in a couple of centuries.
I'm loving these videos and all of the side eyeing you're giving on kotor 2's unappreciated behalf 😂 I'm just glad that love for that game is still alive and well even if the franchise doesn't want to acknowledge it

If I were behind the development of SWTOR I would make so the smuggler and bounty hunters aren't tied to any factions. Instead I would make it so they can allign with whatever factions they please, and can switch at various points in the story. I would go with their main story being less about the faction war, and entirely about advancing a personal goal. Becoming a Mandalorian or do a really cool heist of the millenia. And they can go do the sidequests for either the Empire or the Republic, and even join up with teams from either factions.
I think that would've probably been better.

I mean almost everyone knows that. Just like the fact that he hasn't touched kotor 2 yet still wrote the continuation for it while getting as many things wrong as humanely possible.
dude, most people who have complains about Revan novel know that.
My best guess is that Drew either didn't like what Chris Avellone did in KOTOR 2 or was jealous of his writing (he is pretty garbage in comparison). Either way Drew didn't really understand Kotor 2 considering how he wrote the Exile
Which game style did you prefer SWTor classes type trooper,sith inquisitor etc multi story characters or did you prefer the Kotor way of Reven/jedi exile single story characters. And which would you prefer for the Ubisoft game in the works.
I love being able to master your own characters and play from multiple perspectives and storylines, but I do like the focus of single stories with personalisation involved

Wouldn't any remaining Jedi simply wish to bury Kriea rather than acknowledge her as being correct in her critiques of their understanding of the Force? It totally seems within their character to continue ignoring the nuance between Light and Dark and that after three hundred years, this is all that's left of her point in history.

I played this game for a few months when it first came out, but like most im addicted to WoW... I firmly believe the cut scenes are better than most of the new movies.
The CGI shorts are incredible.
We need an old republic animated series or human series that fpcus on Satele after the Sith take their homeworld back. Start from there and have writers work with the game makers. That or u can make an alternate universe composed of movies and series based of The Old Republic era

Yep, I remember SWTOR being absolutely unfinished and some of the original bugs HAVE NOT been corrected by the time I quit the game in 2017. I recall the whole community bashing BW/EA cause we were subscribing... to a game technically still in the Beta phase... Some people quit and demanded a refund... It's fair to say no one got their money back..
