Since the Mask was probably made out of Beskar she should still be there at the Time of the Empire (Sidious Empire) in Legends

Given his first master and his thirst for knowledge, I like to envisage Revan as the library nerd. While Malak and Meetra are out there being big damn heroes, Revan is buried in books, boring his friends with ancient stories and philosophical musings. He was destined to be one of the Order's greatest librarians, incredibly intelligent and powerful, but reluctant to sit on the Jedi Council. Regardless, he could have developed the wisdom over decades to become a great leader of the Jedi, reforming them. In later years, Revan would've been a maverick, but still the greatest champion of the Jedi. War, first against the Mandalorians and then against the Sith, turned him into a monster. He paid the cost willingly, but with regret, becoming one of the most formidable Sith Lords in history. I am Revan, you are Revan, we are REVAN!!!!!! Hell yeah! Really hope this series does well. He was a lunatic since the Jedi Council impregnated him with a second personality. They forced a multiple personality disorder upon him and to make matters worse, his dark side became schizophrenic because of it. He was basically a schizophrenic and a vessel for multiple personalities at the same time. I can tell you that schizophrenia is a massive mental problem, although it has some upsides, but combine this with multiple personality disorder and you get the most insane character ever created.

10:10 Actually, the devs said in a Q&A that they intentionally switched Revan's blades, seeing as the hilt he used as a Jedi looks more aggressive, thus fitting the Dark side version of the character better. As for the Leviathan, yeah that one was stupid. What's more stupid is that Darth Malak is one of the characters required to unlock the Leviathan yet they didn't choose him to command it.
I Agree, The requirements for the Leviathan are hard enough, i mean they could've left out Relic 9 Darth Revan and used that as a future Requirement for Galactic Legend Revan or something And have Malak be the Pilot of the Leviathan instead.
We ofc wouldn't have that badass animation of Revan taking over the ship, but i think it would've been cool instead to have that Taris-destroying Barrage as a Ultimate ability
@@galacticfirefly6060 Yeah, it's so nonsensical that they both ended up being required at Relic 9 anyway so there's really 0 arguements for why Revan should have been the pilot over Malak. Before the kit reveal I was hoping Revan would start as the pilot, then the ultimate would be Malak (with the actual Leviathan) betraying him as he opens fire on both Revan's ship and opponent's and takes Revan's place for the rest of the match. It would have fit the "Sith betray each other a lot" theme and would have been a closer depiction of an actual lore event.

I think Revan's Starforge produced robes were given an appearance based on the robes he wore while searching for the Star Forge.

Welcome back, I just finished reading the Star Wars novel The High Republic: Light of the Jedi and I feel perhaps you could do some videos on this era of the republic. I know it's Disney canon and far removed from the Old Republic era but it's still an interesting topic. You could also focus on events before the old republic video game like the great hyperspace war etc as well as after such as the story of Darth Bane. Keep up the great work.

Balance in the Force does not mean an equal measure of Light and Dark. To bring balance to the Force means to eradicate all traces of the Dark Side.
What many people refer to the "Light Side" of the Force is simply another name for the Force itself. In fact, while this term appears in many EU/Legends media, it never gets mentioned once in the movies (except possibly in The Force Awakens). Conversely, the Dark Side is always mentioned and is seen as the corruption or perversion of the Force. Using it continuously is like getting hooked on drugs or any kind of craving.
Yes - but in the context of Revan, many people perceive his balance as equal measure of the Light and Dark. And evidently, Revan never eradicated his darkness the way you describe as proven by SWTOR.
Tbh the reason start wars Galaxy of heroes has Darth Revan as the capital ship's commander is more due to the current roster availability and not lazy research
Since capital games didn't release a new character unit with the capital ship they probably saw Revan as the best option to be the commander instead of releasing Saul though he could have been a nice lifter for the Old Republic faction (Carth, Zalbar, Mission and maybe T3 since they are trash at the moment) though it wouldn't make much sense lore wise but still
Before it's release there was a leak that said it was going to be Darth Nihilus' capital ship but I guess they wanted to change that since that was a couple of years before the release of the ship

Fact 35 was very important, because this believe is unfortunately still widespread. There is no balance between the light and dark side and because of that Revan can't achieve this balance.
I know what everyone will now answer: "The sun is as much a part of the day as the darkness." - But there is one problem. That's not how George Lucas envisioned the dark side. The dark side in his perception, as reinforced by his statement during a meeting with the writers of The Clone Wars, is not the night but an unnatural, everlasting darkness. It's the light side that represents the balance between selflessness and selfishness. And you achieve this balance by following the will of Force. After all, it's the Force that connects everything and knows whats best for the galaxy. The dark side as envisioned by Lucas is the pinnacle of egoism. Instead of adherence to the will of the Force it's the rebellion against it. The foolish believe that only you know what's best for the galaxy.
To quote Lucas himself: “The core of the Force. I mean you got the Dark Side and the Light Side. One is selfless. One is selfish. And you want to keep them in balance. What happens when you go to the Dark Side is that it goes out of balance, and then you get really selfish and you forget everybody.”
Sadly George is not the best when it comes to explaining the Force and because of that, this believe of balance between the light and dark side is born. Lucas seemingly contradicts himself in this quote, but it's just poorly explained. What he meant is that you need to achieve and keep the balance between selflessness and selfishness. The dark side, however, is pure selfishness.
The Force is badly labelled and that's why this believe still exists.

Revan did and was able to use both the light and the Dark side of the Force colloquially. in KOTOR 2, Atton even mentioned this in his conversion conversation with the Exile. That Revan ordered Sith Special units that, once Republic soldiers mind you, to Take Jedi to the outer Rim where they would be converted from Jedi into Dark Jedi. These Special Units were later found to have been Revanites in SWTOR.
These Dark Jedi even revealed themselves in The Show of Ahsoka last year, 2023. They derived from an Ancient world, Peridea. Where the "Dark and the Light" originated outside of the Star Wars "current galaxy" Or as I like to see it. Beyond the Outer Rim.

Since you already foresaw comments about Revan not balancing the force- yeah he didn't. He was very dark side-y, very sith in his methodology just like Kreia.
Jolee, Exile, Kyle Katarn and Mace Windu were also in the grey sphere (not grey jedi, just more on edge) but were jedi in their methods.
There are no grey jedi. Force is a metronome, you're either one or the other. You have stories of tens of jedi who were trying to understand the dark side better to fight it better and they either got scared or fell to the dark side.
Every force user who tries to distance themselves from both sides becomes an inactive coward eaten by apathy

I want a Revan game where they clean the slate and take him back to the beginning. A soft reboot, so to speak. They started taking him in a bunch of weird directions after the first game and I think the character became too over-saturated to understand clearly. He's still the perfect protagonist for Star Wars, he's just mired down in some rather murky lore now.

I love the Old Republic and the story and characters surrounding Revan, but Revan himself, imo is massively overrated. He goes into every bad situation and makes it worse, lol. But Meetra, Malik, HK, T3, Scourge, Canderous, Nyriss, they ALL amazing characters revolving around a pretty obvious and flat hero. I don't hate him, I just found him predictable and detached as a character. But overall, it's still my favourite era of the Star Wars EU, along with Darth Bane and Zannah who are my No.1 characters and story trilogy.
50 - All things considered, gotta prefer how it lead to the John Jackson Miller KotOR comics interpretation.
45 - Debatable information, especially with records on the guy possibly becoming a Sith once more.
41 - Apocryphal Legends information to folks like me.
39 - Am betting the woman was a Wren, and that she may have survived in the Disney Alt-universe, thus having distant descendants like Sabine in the process.
35 - Information is too loaded, so even I'll abstain from saying an opinion.
32 - Debatable information, yes, but you gotta admit, a lot of people are most likely to have slain the guy there on their playthroughs.
31 - There are some records where Bastila was coldly "pacified" on the Star Forge by a Light Sided Revan, however.
