  • The biggest question surrounding Top Coat F11 is always about durability. Are the claims true? We go over my real world experience to see how well looks, see how easy it is to use, how it lasts, and if I think it is worth the price. Enjoy!

    Turtle Wax hybrid sealant, it's cheap, lasts ages, offers a great finish... And you can thank me later!

    I had a 78 Scirocco and the horrid US plastic bumpers weren't even close to black anymore and the ONLY thing that lasted was Forever Black. It's an actual diye for the plastic. But it the last for years and I'm not kidding. It comes with a solution that you clean your plastic with off first, and it's essentially to remove all of the silicone from the other products that claim to refinish the plastic Back to Black, armor-all, and probably that F 11 also has a lot of silicone in it, but that stuff last a week at most. This Forever Black stuff last years. That's what I would suggest you start using on your black plastic trim.

    All true man. I used it for years. if you only wash with water it will last longer but soap takes it off. Another CZcams reviewer got their govt registered ingredients list. The main ingredient is a long word that basically is silicone and it was not a big percentage. The rest is alcohol and water. Spray silicone on your car and DUH...it will be slick and shiny but...... soap and water will take it off. It is a rip off. Way better products out there for a lot less

    I use it every 3 months , its great ...easy to use and looks great, on leather seats and the rubber and plastic, if anything is wrong , its their claim it last a long time. Other wise it looks brand new

    Give a legitimate ceramic coating a shot (not the quick detail type); I've heard good things about CQuartz UK 3.0, but any of the actual ceramic coats that come in small ~30mL bottles and harden/cure work well.

    Topcoat recently released a professional two part coating called Crystaleen. If you think F11 is too expensive, wait until you see this.

    Thought the idea was to not use soap, just water rinse?

    • @TreatsOnTheStreets
      @TreatsOnTheStreets  Před rokem

      That doesn't really work. The way they sold it was it is way easier than needing to wash your car, but the reality is that using f11 and trying to not wash your car takes much more time and effort than just washing it would. After trying many different options, I have found the best to be using a high quality 18-24 month ceramic coating. Much more durable than any product like f11 and more hydrophobic as well.

    Actually, it is proven on light aircraft, to improve fuel economy, and air speed. Check out the article in Plane and Pilot. This product was private labeled by a company called Lopresti, and it is called Speed Coat. This was a private label agreement between the manufacturer Ducora, and a Lopresti, that occurred years ago. I believe it has been proven for at least 15 years in the aircraft industry. I personally applied F11 to my 35’ Bullet trailer, and actually gained gas mileage due to the slickness of the fiberglass cap, which became more efficient at cutting thru the air. I have been using this product since 2007, before it was available to the public. I haven’t washed the truck in over a year, because I don’t have to. Please don’t complain that it washes off, because it doesn’t. And why are you wasting you time washing and breaking down the paint surface, when you don’t have to. You will have better luck not scratching your vehicle, if you don’t wash it. My truck is 14 years old and still looks new, because I have probably washed it 20 or 25 times, in its lifetime, maybe once or twice a year. I just do wipe downs with Topcoat Spritz, and apply Topcoat HPS or F11 every six months or so, and no, I haven’t scratched the paint by doing this. I have fewer spider web scratches than trucks that get washed often. You tried it out “Long Term, for 9 months”?? Wrong, you have not used it for almost 15 years, like I have. 15 years is long term. Less than one year is short term. You complain that it is too expensive, but are not taking advantage of all the benefits of the product. I use ZERO other products. That’s the main point. You don’t need anything else, including car wash. You say it takes to long to maintain, but then spend your time washing, drying, and chasing water spots. In my 14 years of experience with these products, this is the first time I have ever heard anyone say that Topcoat takes to much time. A once weekly quick detail takes me less than 20 minutes, and the truck looks perfect. Can you break out your hose, soap and buckets, wash and dry, and eliminate all the water spots in that amount of time? I think not.

      Whatever man . F11 is shit and you know it. Just a greasy coating. So many products out there outlast and out perform this garbage for a fraction of the price. F11 is the fastest product to fail in all testing. Getting better gas mileage ... never heard a lie that big. Your comments do make sense though since YOU ARE A DISTRIBUTOR OF THIS CRAP.....

    wouldn't the amount of money you keep spending to apply f11 cost as much as getting the car ceramic coated and literally not have to wash your car but just rinse the dirt off with wateR?

    • @chrish7336
      @chrish7336 Před 2 lety

      F11 is suppose to be a ceramic coating. You are only suppose to have to rinse to clean it.
      (Edit) Of course I may be thinking of the F11 Pro
