The TKC's have a more agressive tread pattern than the stock ones that's why they grip better off-road and just a little bit worse on the highway. I thought the stock tires were more than decent on every terrain except mud and ran my 300L stock tires for almost 7000km (4350 miles) before switching to SM wheels.

I have these on my KTM 640 Adventure. Theyre sweet off road actually totally surprisingly good onroad... Offroad I just open it up and go for it. They do everything I ask them to do. On a 1-10 scale Im prob 4 or 5 agressive rider on the street sometimes 5 or 6 but in the dirt Im an 8. I let it rip. At higher speed on gravel 40-60mph the front tire isnt optimal its a little slippery but its very good on the road... I will say its entirely adequate but I always want to go faster... the rear locks up so well its difficult to powerslide and thats saying something. I dont think Ive ever had a better performing 50/50 tire. There prob are some but I havent had em...yet. Ive had dirt tires that powerslide on the road, takes a lot of getting used to. A dirt tire like that isnt for everyone on the road. Downright dangerous if you dont have the chops or the bike for it. Ive also had crap 50/50's that sucked so bad in the dirt I took em off in a week and got something else, so in comparison. TKC 80's are awsome. You can bet on em. I think a big bike would eat em up quick but theyre still gonna be sweet. Theyre doin ok on the 640 which is 158 Kg about 350 lbs dry plus 7 gallon tanks so another 50 lbs 400 plus me Im old and fat Im prob putting close to 670 lbs on em with tools and gear. think that CRF300 is prob about a 130-140Kg prob 310 lbs wet.

When I go close to highway speeds it feels a bit wobbly/unstable, could the tires be the cause? Or should I look at the suspension? Just buy tusk or kenda fronts (dot). And kenda trackmaster rear (dot). Front and rear will set you back $115 on rocky mountain atv. You will eat the rear in 500miles if you ride pavement often, but the tire is $55. Easily the most aggressive tires on the market that are street legal.
Continentals are great and all but for this type of bike absolutely not. Continentals were made for high weighted bikes as the GSRS, ktm 890s and up, pretty much any bike over 300 lbs. That's why the are expensive gotta support the weight.
Had a ktm 500 exc and only ran the tires in the first paragraph. Now have a T7 and found shinko 805 rear and pirelli Scorpion rally front is a kickass combo, can get around 2000+ miles. I ride 75/25 dirt/street.

Constructive criticism ahead, I hope. This review is not that great. Since this is a tire review, you have to spend more time describing your setup. What size tires did you put (we know not too many OEM size options there)? What is the effect of this tire combo on this particular bike's performance? What tire pressure did you use on and off-road? Tire compound, etc. Instead, all we see/hear is lame sales tactics and I feel this and that. Thumbs down for this video.

Yes, in most states, just get a permit. But I would recommend doing the MSF before buying a bike or lots of gear. Unless you have already ridden and know what you want.

I have a pair of those "Flying eyes" prescription glasses. With bifocal prescription, anti relective lenses and transition lenses they cost me $1300 total. I'm sure the sunglasses are much cheaper than getting those frames with prescription lenses.
