Maybe she'll have her on her show? I hope so.
That would be great if Kelly had her on the show. That exposure could really help Serenity. She has a lovely voice and sings with a lot of emotion. I'd love to see her have great success with her music career!

Attempting a Kelly Clarkson song is ballsy....unfortunately it didn't pay off for Serenity with her pitch issues. Kelly is the first American Idol for a reason...her songs are so difficult but she makes them sound so effortless.

Big song. started with her signature emotional connection, sounded good in her voice. Use those emotions! She is so good. Very believable, lost a bit behind the band.
she was off from the start. shes 16, when shes 18 i promise she will be a star. shes so close to where she wants and needs to be. SO CLOSE. but you can hear her voice isnt fully formed yet. you can hear the youth
She was awesome since the beggining, and she truly deserved to be in the finals, this performance was not her best, but it was definitely much better than others that made it to the top 5. So sad to see her go!

Serenity is great, but this had to be a show-stopping performance if she was going to have a shot of making it through the curse of going first.
Agreed. Plus song was too big for her as you'd have to sing this as well as Kelly Clarkson. Hard song and it requires all those big notes. She didn't have the range to pull this off. I thought she was really pitchy but her tone is great. I would suggest sticking with easy pop songs that she's been doing. Abby Cates was the only one to pull this off perfectly on The Voice.
Seriously? Choosing this song and then dodged every difficult vocal? Never loved her tone, but this time much more disappointed in her techniques.

Notes she usually hits no problem too. I wonder if she was sick or something to sing it in such a lower octave.

This wasn’t her best. However, she proved with ever SINGLE previous performance that she deserved to be in the final.
This is a Tricky Vocal Song!! I think it was too high for her Range of vocals. Lovely Talented girl, but I think it was too High for her to sing. and she pushed herself for this Song. Pretty song.
I thought this performance was better than Bryan's "Viva La Vida"

Sometimes I think the voice messes with the sound and production at this point in the show because they’ve decided who was going to the top and win. The sound was off - it wasn’t her……

SUCH a hard song to sing. It goes so low and so high. She gave it her best shot and connected well, just not the best pick for this moment.

Singing Kelly is difficult
Her vocal range seems very small based on this performance... Maybe she should sing songs from JLo or Britney. They may suit her better... No dynamics at all, she was not able to let the song grow. It was the same note from start to finish... Her tone was not nice in her "upper" register because it sounded so forced and pressed... Boring and in parts painful to watch and listen.

Oh Serenity bad song choice for you. This song was way too big for her voice as she didn't have the vocals to match with Kelly's big vocal range or voice. She didn't hit the big notes that Kelly went for. This song sounds way better with the vocal runs and the big notes. This is a really hard song to pull off. I am a huge Kelly Clarkson stan and Kelly is a powerhouse vocalist. I would not sing this song at all. No teen girls should sing this song if they can't handle it. The only teen girl that managed to pull it off was Abby Cates because she hit the high notes. I feel like Serenity was too focused on emotions than the high notes but this song requires high notes. She should stick with easier pop songs that works for her. Songs like she did Monday night. Here she was super pitchy all over the place.
