Season Six can speak for itself. It knows what it is.
Best comment
💯
Tenille telling Ramsay "you can dish it but you can't take it" was a genius 4D chess move. If he didn't let her back in the kitchen it would prove her right.
BS. Just typical blaming others...
Not to mention Ramsay can probably tell Tennille had a lot of pent-up stress thanks to her team. She got much better after that.
One of the only times I've agreed that Ramsay was being a dick.
@@samhunt9361 Lame.
@@johnaustin209 What does this mean?
This season is the best at hooking new viewers into Hell's Kitchen. The fact that there's an ejection, two fights, and two injuries in the first 3 episodes is insane.
It really is, and it makes good tv
And the fact that both finalists were injured is amazing
Greatest Season EVER!!
My favorite part of season six is when Jean-Philippe telling Gordon that there's a language barrier between Van and him.
Gordon: What language barrier? He speaks English.
Jean Philippe: Yes, but he's from Texas.
Gordon and me: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I hate Van. He’s such a cocky bastard. Listen to JP. Ramsey brought him in for a reason
I think that was their way of making up 😂
As someone who lived in Texas I can say Texas English is an entirely different language
One of the rare moments where someone made Chef laugh.
Meanwhile me: 🤨
It’s actually a really good point that if the Joseph scene was fake, there would definitely be one every season. In fact the scene would probably get bigger and more dramatic each time
Dave, Kevin, JP vs Van, the moment that can speak for itself, Ariel’s surge, Tennille winning Ramsay’s respect, Robert coming back, etc this was definitely one of the best seasons in HK.
It is truly a memorable season: very talented chefs, two injuries, Joseph’s meltdown, Chef Ramsay’s voice cracked twice in one episode. It was definitely Van-licious 😂
Don't forget about Chef Ramsay leave his own restaurant in Black Jacket round along with Scott
And honestly? Given what we'd learn later, mad respect to Van too: he comes from a famous pro wrestling family and rather than go down, arguably, the easy route for him and just become a pro wrestler... he carved his own path and became a successful chef.
*cough*
Van-tastic
Van was a homie when I was in college. He graduated a year or so before me. He was SO charming that he would turn heads when he walked in the room. We all had little crushes on him but he was loyal to his gorgeous girlfriend. While he did have that outburst on the show, he’s just a sweet guy. He never once mentioned that his mother is the professional wrestler Luna. I discovered that later when I watched a “Dark Side of the Ring” documentary. He’s just an insanely interesting dude.
Wtf? He's luna's son?! I'll have to check out that episode
Luna as in Luna Vachon?
@@Undivided-X YEP!
WAIT HIS MOM IS LUNA???
WHAAAAAAAAAT????? GTFOH! That's insane. She was one of my first wrestling crushes.
This was actually the first season I ever watched, and easily my favourite (give or take the drama of Season 10). Dave is my all time favourite chef
Same
Season 6 had the greatest final 2. Seriously, Dave and Kevin pushed one another to be better than the other. And while injured, they outperformed the other contestants
It is a moment that has never been repeated on Hell's Kitchen history I don't think where one contest was injured only to then dominate the rest of the compertition.
Season 15
All boats rise in a high tide. Both chefs were absolutely amazing!!!
Just finished season 6 for the second time earlier this week, and I gotta say it was way better than I remembered. Tenille, Kevin, Dave, Ariel and Van were so fun to watch, Sabrina and Amanda’s bubbly personalities made them quite enjoyable and even the Suzanne arc was pretty entertaining at times. Let’s also not forget Joseph’s exit as it will live on for an eternity and a half. Quite a GOATed season.
Also side note: I realized the chefs stayed on their original seasons for most of the season. Usually by episode 4 Ramsay is switching up the teams, but Robert was on the red team for one episode before being switched back to the blue team, and Suzanne was on the blue team for one episode as well. Not relevant but something interesting I noticed
Fun Fact: Van is the son of Luna Vachon, for all you WWE fans. Though, if I recall correctly, they didn't have that close of a relationship.
@@InkAndPoet I learned this on a podcast he was on lol
Where is it watchable?
@@Txur_Itan look up kitchen nightmares full episodes. That channel has the entire uncensored season

Hell's Kitchen 6 is honestly one of those "lightning in a bottle" moments of television, where *all of the stars aligned perfectly.*
It still remains (imho) the greatest season of Hell's Kitchen, always my favourite watch to go back to, and the season that produced my personal all-time favourite winner.
That being said... I'd love to see you make a video dedicated to Season 12. Another season that deserves its own special.
That would be nice!
Season 6 had my favorite winner too. I was heartbroken when I heard things didn't work out for him after the show.
Season 6 is probably the most iconic HK season because of a few reasons
1. The infinite capellini incident and the double "lOoK! LoOk! WTF is this?!" on the first episode.
2. Texas dude vs Belgian dude.
3. Mr I Ain't no Btch (double negative btw) goes off on national television.
4. The finalists are a dude with a broken arm and a dude with a damaged leg and even when both of them were handicapped, they're still better than some of the finalists in other seasons.
Fun fact: in Kevin's ask me anything on Reddit, he said Joseph was just like what we saw. On the ride back to Hell's Kitchen from the second episode reward, Joseph was yelling about how he didn't come for rewards and if something didn't change, he'd do something about it.....
That's fake AMA.
Tenille is so awesome, she went up against two winners, and Kevin- who was 2nd place, and she still did amazing
So when I mentioned watching Hell's Kitchen to my partner she had only ever seen a few clips here and there.
I convinced her to watch 1 season, so she gave me the challenge to get her hooked with only 1 season. I had no other choice but to show her Season 6.
After this she told me she wanted to watch ALL of the Hell's Kitchen from the beginning.
Season 6 is probably my favourite season. So many of these chefs are in the hall of fame, like Dave, Kevin, Ariel, Van, Joseph, Melinda, and Louie. Kevin is one of the best runner ups, Dave is the 2nd best winner, behind Meghan, but got screwed over by getting a line cook job, Ariel won in Season 18, Tennille made a big comeback, Van was Van, Robert got a 2nd chance Joseph will be forever memed and can speak for himself and Louie and Melinda had a horrific 1st service while making Gordon’s voice crack.
It's a tie for me. 6 or 14.
Especially Ariel since she came back a decade later and won season 18 of Hell's Kitchen!
Don't forget Lovely and her shrimp cleaning cheering.
The reaction of the season 11 black jackets upon Dave walking in with 2(!) working hands says enough about this man
Don't say it
Don't say it
Don't say it
The best reality TV show can speak for itself it knows who it is.
I'll leave to thrown my Internet connection out the window
😆
No peer pressure they’re men.
What have you won? A fucking medal?
“What do you want? A fucking medal?”
"WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY?"
I always say season 6 is the best one. And Dave from the moment he broke down crying and lamented that the competition might be taken away from him is the moment I knew he needed to be protected and that I would cheer for him until the very end. Amongst the drama and comedy and everything, Dave proved himself time and time again. He always was one that got up no matter how many times he got kicked down.
Meghan may take the title as the best chef to ever win Hell’s Kitchen but Dave will always have my heart as my favorite.
Dave is supreme!
This season found the perfect balance between reality TV and game show. Seasons 5 and 7 were near perfection too, but Season 8 started leaning heavily on the reality tv side of the show and after season 14 the game show portion of the show has seemingly disappeared
I agree. It definitely changed into more of a competition show than a game. After all, these people are trying to work for the amazing Chef Gordon Ramsay and he is looking for the best of the bunch.
season 7 was kind of a slog since almost no one was good. Fran alone made it quite laughably unbearable.
Anyone that actually thinks Joesph blowing up that stupidly as "fake" are beyond comprehension because these same people likely ARE those kinds of individuals who would behave that way the moment they're put in the spotlight and asked such simple questions with simple answers and don't want to admit it, the amount of owners that behave that way that Gordon had to put up with is another thing people think is "fake" despite the fact that there are people who own companies and just let their egos take over.
Season 6 truly is the best season for anyone trying to get into the show.
Underrated character in Season 6 is Jim. He has some of the funniest confessionals in all of Hell's Kitchen.
Nice to also learn about who you are as a person outside of video making.
Ones and twos and threes and twos. At one point I thought I had Yahtzee.
Joseph, we are not at war we are in a kitchen so calm down and let's just cook some carrots.
We have Dave and his arm, Kevin and his ankle and Robert and his morbid obesity.
Fun fact, from what I’ve heard. Jim actually cut himself that service on purpose. He said the producers wanted him to fight Robert when he returned but he didn’t want that to happen so he screwed up service to get himself eliminated.
I love Jim!
He also dated Tek, lucky guy!
Also has a Twitch
The greatest moments can speak for themselves, they know who they are
They ain’t no b****es
Another standout factor of S6 is the return of S2 winner Heather as sous chef - her presence can also get new viewers curious about older seasons and how people like Robert and Heather did in their original runs!
Since we don’t get Christina Wilson till S10 and then again in S15, Heather being the first winner to return as sous chef draws the viewer in
Well my friend, I've always said season 6 of Hell's Kitchen never gets talked about or dove into enough, so I want to sincerely thank you for diving in and giving this season the video it deserves. Your video goes right into my personal Playlist so I will be watching it over and over again. Thank you and take care!
Season 6 was definitely one of the strongest! It had some of the best chefs ever to compete in HK, Dave, Kevin, Ariel, Tennille, Van and etc. especially the final two, who were both badass!!
I actually loved season 6 because of the determination that these chefs had in them especially the final two guys when it comes to not letting their injuries stand in their way.
I agree, one Hell's Kitchen season I always go back and watch is Season 6. I feel it's the season that had everything you need as a viewer. And, even though I previously watched seasons 2 and 4, I feel it's the one that made me a real fan of the show.
This was the season that got me in, primarily because it is one of the 6 seasons fully available on youtube
You really should have touched a bit more on Melinda tossing pounds and pounds of pasta in the bin. “LOOK! LOOK! LOOK!” And she just stands there. Tenille said it best: “She’s stupid!” What a great start to a great, great season.
That look look look quote is an audio copy paste from the Louis moment as you can see Gordon actually saying it. With Melissa (even though it happened first) it was dubbed over.
I am a big fan of season 18 and IMO that was the best season. The rookies went head to head against the veterans and didn't blink.
I'm almost 99% sure Louie was there as a plant to get thrown out so Robert could join
I think so too because that was way too much of a coincidence.
i mean both louie and melinda had such shit signature dishes he was kind of guaranteed to boot off at least one of them and then called robert to return at the dinner service
Season 6 is totally best season! For this season was more like a soap opera, you can't get enough of it and you go back watching all over again.
Currently showing my mom all of Hell’s Kitchen and I literally started with season 6 because it’s my favorite season!
This was the first season I ever watched in its entirety and i's what made me a fan of the show, and to this day is still my personal favorite
Van was my favorite Chef
Dave and Kevin really are the protagonists for this season
This was the first season I've ever watched from Hell's Kitchen. Been hooked ever since
I've been binging old seasons and I'm in season 6 right now - I had seen the more recent seasons first, and going back to season 1 it was interesting how different the show was, especially with some of the contestants being much less experienced. And season 6 is probably the first one that feels like it hits the stride that defines later seasons - the chefs are all strong, they've all seen the show and know to expect Gordon's twists, things like taste it now make it have come into place as standard challenges, etc.
Haven't even watched it yet and I know that I'm going to love it. Season 6 was so freaking good for all the right reasons.
I'm from Poland, and hell's kitchen is the first program in English language that I ever watched (now we have a Polish version!), so it also had a huge impact on me! Season 6 is also one of my favourite :)
Great video Flynn, you're improving week after week!
The greatest reality TV masterpiece can speak for itself, they know who they are.
"i'm so glad i was here for that." the chef's reactions to the moment that can speak for itself, so great XD and gosh this WAS the Dave and Kevin season. those two absolutely killed it
idk why a video of yours wound up on my front page but watching this really makes me want to get back to hell's kitchen and masterchef. always loved watching those shows. i'm fairly certain the last HK season i saw was the one Nona won (i was not invested in that finale since my fave was eliminated in the episode before)
The very first season I ever watched was season five. That season was a pretty good one as well. It convinced me to come back for season six. And that was definitely the hooking point for me. Russell in season seven almost soured my taste for the show, but I gave it another shot beyond that and still love the show to this day.
Louie’s mid service elimination 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Season 6 of Hell's Kitchen is basically catching lightning in a bottle. It cemented HK for years to come and set up a standard that very few other seasons could hold a candle to. Though again, I would also say Season 12 is by far one of my personal favourite seasons just like you ended up saying. Season 6 is hands down the season that made a ton of lifetime HK fans and the show wouldn't be as strong as it is or survived as long as it has without it.
I just love that Chef Ramsey invited Robert back into Hell’s Kitchen because I’m a firm believer in the notion that everyone deserves a second chance. Joseph’s outburst and getting in Gordon’s face while calling him a bitch is my all time favorite moment in all of Hell’s Kitchen!
*the fact that the runner up somehow was the second boot in s17 or 18* HOW
This season is easily my all time favorite so far (as of writing this comment, i haven't seen all of the seasons yet), i was literally at the edge of my seat a lot of the time while watching this season, and Dave is such a freaking legend, and is so far, my favorite HK winner. Such a fantastic season.
Here’s an idea for a series for your channel. Watch, summarize, review every chef, and review every Hell’s Kitchen season. However, take your time between these videos so it lasts a while
Season 6 is definitely insane. Some great moments for sure - and Tennille is probably one of my favorite chefs in the entire series. Her arc was so great to watch. Season 3 is probably my overall favorite but this one is a close second.
What's really wild about the Joseph moment, usually when Ramsay calls on someone to give him the names of those put up for elimination it's usually someone who he thinks didn't have that bad of a service. Maybe not a great service, but probably one of the at least decent performances that night
amazing video my friend, S6 is definitely an top-tier HK season, S12 is my personal favorite but this one is an close second and is the season i always recommened for those who want to get into this show :}
Pause at 1:43. Tiffany predicted the “Yelling at a cat” meme.
I’m like you I started watching this show with my mom at a young age and I was on the edge of seat every week to see what would happen. Thank you for this awesome video and your other fantastic content! ❤😃
Josephs tenure on the show can speak for itself it knows who it is
Season 6 does not need this video; it can speak for itself, it knows what it is.
I’m not no bitch I will never forget I was at the time 9 years old and that to be continued to the Gordon Joseph fight I was so hyped 😂😂😂
Agreed, season 6 is the greatest season, everything there you would want in a Hell's Kitchen season. What's interesting is, so many, through so many seasons, sacrifice for more than money, but to run a Ramsey kitchen, but so few actually get that prize, for one reason or another.
Shout out to Ariel for finishing third to these two giants, and then came back in season 18 to not only win but dominated.
Big time!!! She crushed it in season 18! No one was beating her in that season. Not even motto
One of those situations were the only reason she didn't stick it the first time is because she was competing against borderline superhuman chefs
Tennille probably reminded Gordon of himself. What got her mad was being told she didn't care, not that she was screwing up. She was willing to learn and take criticism, and would fight to become better and show her talents.
Ironically, this is the first season i got introduced to, or at least allowed to watch. I watched an episode of season 2, but i was not allowed at the time to watch because they bleeped too much and it freaked my parents out, so they made me change the channel. But when season 6 came, i got hooked onto every episode. I was there when the joseph incident happened, and couldnt believe i had to wait another week to see the conclusion. It was genuinely that shocking, as it felt so real that nobody has ever done that before. Everybody was so watchable and/or likeable in their own ways. Seriously the best season to start people off on.
im glad this was the first season i’ve ever watched!
My favorite part of Joseph's elimination was when he tried to say "I ain't no bitch". 🤣
a crazy fact about me is i actually started with season 16 of HK, but i loved it so much i watched the past seasons. at the time in my life i was in 6th grade and obsessed with reality tv and cooking shows lol
I wish 7 or 8 was the first all stars season.
Thanks For Sharing!
Dave is a straight up beast.
This season is both legendary status and meme status. All thanks to the One-Armed Bandit, Louie the idiot, I Ain't No Bitch, Ms. You're Crap, and Van the Texas man. Plus a few others.
Hell's Kitchen just announced a new season and Robert applied to be a contestant, for any of you Flo Cheezy fans out there. Hope he gets a third chance. Dude has really turned his life around and is looking good these days.
Season 6 was the first season I watched. I just randomly picked it and it's my favorite season and Dave is one of my favorite chefs.
i started with season 8 when i was like 11 or 12. I did not realize Russell was such a prick.
when i first watched season 6 it certainly had my heart racing all the time. i just didn't comprehend that it was actually good.
Then years later when I matured I realized season 6 really was the peak.
had i started with season 6 it might have soured my expectations of hell's kitchen though, since season 8 was such a low.
Honestly, I kind of want to see more videos like this where you talk about a season in depth.
Season 5 and 6 are the two best seasons along with season 12. Massive disparity in talent in all 3 seasons which makes it very entertaining, Gordon was entertaining as hell in all 3 seasons and all 3 seasons have a lot of passionate contestants who are ready to fight.
I'll always enjoy dave's victory
Idea: You should do a video where you go over all the times you think the runner-up should've won
That last part of the video was the cherry on top. Fantastic. 😂😂😂
I started watching Hell’s Kitchen season 10 back in September of this year and it’s my favorite season
I’ve only seen up til season 11 as of now, but I agree that this is my favorite season so far. Seeing Dave open the door always makes me happy 🥹 Kevin is amazing too. And all the rest of the cast is iconic
Idea for a list: Worst Decisions and Mistakes by Chef Ramsay Himself. One of the items could be putting Curtis on sushi despite him not making any acceptable sushi during the sushi challenge (should’ve put Boris or Louis on the station instead).
Was always my favorite season by far. So glad I’m not alone.
Ariel going from 3rd place only beaten out by two of the strongest chefs HK has ever seen, to winner against a WICKEDLY talented cast is just so badass to me.
I have a soft spot for S2/3/4. But I do love this season. Danny's season is also great. Hells Kitchen I watch religiously. Seasons 1-6 is peak greatness. Goes downhill after 10. Love me some Van, Ariel , Tannile (pretty sure I spelled that wrong) Wasn't Tannile supposed to come back?
PLEASE DO A SEASON 12 REVIEW!!! I just finished it and I loved every moment.
“ Lovely and Tennille may think they’ve just received a gift, but what I have in store for them tomorrow will have them running for the door.”
I personally think season 10 was one of the best seasons, not because of the talent or anything but the amount of drama and ridiculous cast. Reality TV is all about drama and fights to me and season 10 delivered the most (and more than anyone needed) drama, I wish I could rewatch that season for the first time again.
The Jonny Fairplay moment, I remember watching it live as a 10 year old and thinking it was nastiest, funniest trick anyone had ever pulled. 20 years later and nothing's topped it.
My sister met Jonny Fairplay at a Survivor trivia event and apparently he's a huge douchebag, surprising no one 😂
This is what reality tv was made for. Such a great season. Def on my top 10, both as a season and finale (final 2). You should make a top ten best and worst HK’s finale
Possibly the most legendary season in talent wise and drama
"Good to see you Robert" You can hear the respect from Ramsay in that one.
My favorite season 6 moments
The beginning
The signature dish challenge
Melinda’s spaghetti spill
Louie’s ejection
Robert’s return
Van vs. Jean-Philippe
“They can speak for themselves. They know who they are.”
The rest of Joseph’s attempted fight to Ramsay
The garbage can incident
Tennille and Ramsay’s argument
Scott yelling at Jim
Dave injures his arm
Kevin injures his ankles
Robert’s near death experience
Dave winning HK single handedly
Gordon smashes the halibut
“I’m nobody’s bitch”
“Look, LOOK, wtf is this”
Now do the same, but with the HK season "So bad that it's good". I'd say either Season 8 or 16, although i love Season 8 because it was the first season of the show i ever saw
A man’s just ran past my house
No biggy but it’s 0253 am
He knows who he is he can speak for himself he’s a man
Season 6 has always been my favorite, it has the most iconic moments, cast, and winner
No one can change my belief that both Louis anf Joseph were plants.
Louis was clearly a plant for a shocking first service elimination, while also making space in the team for Robert.
And Joseph? Well, he can speak for himself but theres no fcking way that wasnt scripted 😂
S10 was my first HK season!!!
Melinda’s stupid face when he’s pulling all the pasta out of the trash😂😂😂
My favorite HK season. This one, along with S5, was how I got introduced to the show.
that moment can speak for itself🤣
