I was born and raised in Mississippi but my grandfather, who I loved with all my heart was from Massachusetts. Your accent and voice reminds me so much of him that I cried.❤ Thank you

Man! I paid $99 for mine. It's a great heater. Who knew I could've gotten a slightly busted one for less than half of what I paid and fixed it in five minutes? Oh, well - now I know how to dig around the guts if anything goes wrong! 😂 Terrific video!

I have this heater - turn off the heater first. Then, pull out the removable screen on the back (there's a little handle on the bottom) and vacuum it. I find a brush attachment helps get everything out. The instructions say to do this monthly. HTH -

Great video. I have the same heater and the same symptoms. I tried what you found, but didn't find anything loose and ultimately do not know what's wrong. Stumped!

You may need to get a multi-meter and start checking thermo switches

Could someone tell me what that thing is a 6:34 at the top of the screen? Looks kind of like a wire that runs into a tube and at both ends appears to be some kind of stud that is riveted into. Looks a lot like a resistor. The heater I am working on has those on it. When I tap it with a screwdriver the unit kicks on. Sometimes it will work for a while. Is this something that can be soldier.

Looks like a pair of thermal fuses. Might have a bad connection at those rivets, I'd advise against soldering as soldering will put enough heat into a thermal fuse to damage it. If one or both measure open with a meter you can buy replacement thermal fuses, the temperature is usually marked on them. If replace a bad one, cut the wire at the body of the fuse so you leave the existing bit of wire and use a crimp connector to join the new lead to that. You can cat the end off any crimp connector to just have the barrel, stick both wires in and crimp it. [edit:install it so the leads lay like they currently do, you don't want "tails" sticking up or out for a variety of reasons]

You didn’t run into any issues? I ordered from that same link December 2019...it’s fried 4 different outlets & I had to finally call it quits on the heater tonight...looking to buy another but I don’t want this same exact issue happening

    • @ThaChefs

Check your plug & outlets to make sure there isn’t any burning or melting...look at the the reviews on Amazon, I’m having the exact same problem as most the reviews about the burning
