When you do the welt this way, did you create a holdfast on the footbed? How did you attach the welt and uppers to the footbed? This is such a beautiful boot and the construction is perfect!

May I ask what you use for finish sole and hell edge?
I use Vibram soles and the edge finishing is done with vegetable-tanned leather.

Yes, exactly. This is not a Chinese method at all. The only thing Chinese here is the bootmaker himself.
