I know this is 2 years late lol and I’m not an expert in any means, but I think your supposed to oil everyday or at least every other day, message your scalp for 5 minutes, and THEN go upside down for 4 minutes while messaging. It wasn’t that much different from what you did so idk what difference it makes but I just thought I would say this 🤷♀️ Im actually doing this method right now, but I’m only doing before and after pictures instead of measuring. (Im also doing it only at night so I can oil everyday and I don’t look like a ball of grease everywhere and I can shower not long after 😂)
One thought: you measured your hair the day right after. Wouldn't it have made sense to give it time to grow, so to have measured it say after three weeks?
honestly i feel like your hair did grow cause i was looking at the first and last clips to compare and it did look a little longer

hi, do you wash your hair after oiling and doin inversion? your new follower here😊
I did wash my hair after oiling, but if I didn’t oil that day, I usually would let it get oily naturally in between washes because the scalp’s natural oils are really good for the hair. ♥️ Some people like keeping the oil in overnight, which I have done in the past, and I would just put a shower cap over my hair so my bed didn’t get all messy. Hope that helps!
