Actually quite good NF overall, much better than last year! There are around 5 songs I genuinely enjoy. My personal favourite is "Flow" by CeaseTone🔥🔥

CeaseTone is really underrated IMO. It's a really strong song, but maybe not as instant on the first listen. Now I have it on repeat. I hope he can deliver a great performance. Also, he's currently a band member of Daði Freyr!

Why there are two versions of each song? One in English and one in Icelandic
Because Iceland is very protective of their language. As such, it's part of the rules that the songs has to be performed in Icelandic in the semi finals.
The songs have to be performed in Icelandic in the semis, but the artists are allowed to sing in English in the final, if they want to ...
