This articulated design gives Adam a wide range of hyperrealistic movement in his elongated fingers, which is both creepy and mesmerizing! The fit is fantastic, and Adam can't wait to incorporate them into a future cosplay!

Well remember edwards fingers were normal length which just scissors attached. Adam probably means anything with biological fingers that long. So no worries about eddie.
@@truenameunknown The only issue with that is, his hands were intended to be made entirely out of scissors. He only had real fingers underneath because Johnny Depp had real fingers underneath.

For a jack skelington costume they would be awesome
There's a type of augment like this for people who've lost, say, half of their fingers. Like, they still have the fingers past the knuckle, but they've lost everything past that. This lets them perform operations like picking up objects, turning the ignition in a car, etc... most things we take for granted, now they can do almost identically.
Chan nel that‘s awesome! technology has come so far. we‘ve still got a long way to go, though.

these are absolutely some of the most beautiful articulate augmentations I have ever seen. it makes me wish I had that kind of money to spend on them. I have recently gotten into cosplay, and I have several characters where these would be perfect! thank you for pointing me in his direction. I'll make sure to keep Gary's site in my bookmarks for when I can afford to make that awesome purchase.

One day build idea! Make gloves for them. I can't imagine how creepy they would be if you actually concealed them in gloves.
The big thing is you want to turn the Proximal Phalanges into extensions of your MetaCarpals and fill up the palm. Then you have fully proportional giant hands. with 3 bends.
That or take normal gloves and open up the tips so it looks like retractible extensions coming out of your normal fingers. God I wish I had $300 to burn to play with a set of these. Too many projects already!!

Now this is a proper coping technique after almost cutting your finger off with a lathe!
I don't think this video was shot after that. A couple of months ago he had whacked his finger and off-handedly mentioned the bruise on his finger nail. You can see some videos where it's mostly healed (consistent in timeline for healing), here he's got the bruise on that same finger that he will later (and did) injure on the lathe.

Also, no wound marks or scarring on the inside of his hands.
Yeah, this was certainly shot earlier; there was somebody operating the camera here. This was not shot on his iPhone.
He still has his fingernail as well. It fell off just before the finger cut.

What's incredible to me is that there's no uncanney valley. The proportions and movement are just so readable as human and I think using the first joint as a the knuckle is what really helps that. The elongated back of the hand helps the elongated fingers feel more natural. Very well designed!
