Nothing special happens. I had a full murder hobo playthrough where I killed literally everyone possible. There's a few exceptions. You can't kill The Emperor or Orpheus immediately (or it's game over), or certain children that just go warp speed and run off instead of dying (bug? no hurting human children "feature"?). There may have been another, I don't remember. Also you don't need to team up with Lae'zel. You can immediately just shove her off the Nautiloid into hell lmao. And jsyk you can change the race and fully customize the appearance of Dark Urge if you want.

Murder is so straightforward, though. You want to keep them alive but in constant torment after having manipulated them into thinking you're their friend.
Yeah, it's probably a good idea to keep at least them alive. Depending on the choices you make tho, you might lose quite a lot of them anyway, I think.
Game is doable solo, some builds break it as well, u can go moon druid with 2 owlbear transformation, doing a bunch of attacks, than u have displacer beast and than u have slayer form, plus your elemental summon, minir elemental, dryad and dryad tree pet
I find it really funny that this is how most people seem to play Dark Urge, which also seems to be the opposite of what the writers intended for the origin. I love that this origin allows players to be absolute monsters, but at the same time it's kinda sad how some people dismiss this as "the murderhobo route." Still, it's fun to watch people choose the worst options available just to see what could happen had I not been born with such a soft heart (I physically can not make myself pick any of the mean dialogue options, letalone be actually evil). 🤣

Oof! True dat. Hopefully this channel takes off and I can murder my wallet to fix that. The game's new patches have helped tho, managed to make the new video at slightly higher settings.
I've been doing this playthrough but as withers never comes into camp atleast for me, Id get a game over scene once I get the first gift from the butler. I fixed this by going to the beginning where withers was and got him in my camp and now I don't get that message that party has died after the butler scene happens (Even if my character is full health) so that was a weird bug and now i gotta have atleast withers in my camp
Curious about the idea of simply knocking out the Leaders of the Goblin Camp (sparing them .. sorta), fulfill Saving the Grove quest. Then going back later, in Act 2 or Act 3, to "Clean House," as it were. If you Knock out Minthara in Goblin Camp, can you still possibly get her as a companion later. Slaughter may be dark; but slaughter + betrayal is darker still.
The game usually treats knocked out characters as dead when it comes to the story. I was planning on doing a video about it by doing a pacifist run even.
Update to this comment. The recent update to the game actually made it to where if you knock her out before you speak to her, she will be at moonrise tower and recruitable like normal. They finally fix that loophole in the writing that they overlooked.
Give Shart to Viconia, cut off Gale's hand, stab Astarion or give him to the hunter, kill Myzora in the pod thus damn Wyll, attack and kill Laezel when she's in a cage, attack Karlach and kill when you meet her, kill the grove and Halsin with it by helping goblins, kill Minthara right after, let Jaheira die in a siege, kill Minsc. No chance to bring anyone back.

You can kill the emperor after the final fight, at least when you play as the dark urge
