We need better games, not better hardware.
You chose to speak fact my friend
Just get VR
More like Complete; Finished and Working games.. Companies cant even re-release 20 Year old games in a working state.. (Star Wars Battlefront Collection)
Um no. We need both.
I have a 4090 and player slightly older games at 4k 144hz max out and still isn't enough power. Never enough.
@@xpodx I'd argue this comes down to optimization of the game, which in turn means better games. Mans still spitting facts.
I expect the 5080 to cost $1500 and 5090to cost $3000
5090 will be 2000-2200 and your probably right 15-1600 for the 5080. Best to wait and see if the cable issue is fixed and possibly wait for 5080 super ti titan x at $1400 a year later and 5% faster.......

Unfortunately i would need a new computer to use the 5090. My i9 10850k bottlenecks with the 4090. Fortunately theres nothing i wanna play that exceeds these specs.
Instead of focusing on ray tracing, maybe Sony should focus on how to use liquid metal properly.
They don't even use liquid metal anymore, they moved to just using thermal paste.
@@randysalsman6992 Glad to hear it.
I have the PS5 vertical since the day of the launch, haven't got any problems till now 😂
@@randysalsman6992 that's lie, PS5 Slim still uses Liquid Metal just like the old version (heck the PS5 Slim uses the exact same 6nm chip as the 2022 model)
That hasn't been an issue since 2020 and they no longer use liquid metal.
*Nvidia’s RUSHING Their RTX 5090 & 5080 GPUs Out!
Me: Maybe if Nvidia stopped raping their customers at a 30% - 50% price premium, this wouldn't be an issue?
"raping" that's gotta be the most wildest way to describe Nvidia Business model I've ever read in my life
I mean they are expensive but gpus for gaming or work offer alot of long term value there will always be a market for premium ones
Well people are voluntarily being raped by Nvidia so it's no so much rape as it is stupidity. You can't complain about their prices and then keep buying their cards.
@@sayoriddlc4262not really
I have a 4090 and will buy the 5090 at launch. Yes Nvidia has gotten very expensive, but these are beastly cards not made for everyone. Stick with a 2080ti if you just need a good 1080p budget build. Most games that come out right now don't really justify the upgrade imo.
We can always vote with our wallets and our brain gentlemen
Yeah we started saying this back in 2020 and arguably sooner, and look how well that’s worked out🙄
The affordable GPU market is dead for the foreseeable future
Simp psychology is intolerant to wisdom
Thank you please stop buying just because you can't wait. It's whatever it's getting pointless and childish
@@hampter1279well yeah, people are still buying. it takes time for change in markets, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t stop trying
since its been rushed out i dont want to purchace a 5080 then 6 months later its found that the power cables melt or something similar. ill wait for the 5080ti.
in true Nvidia fashion you know the first batch of 5080s 5070s will be super seeded by better ones later on down the track ..
Im a AMD fan bit i think this time i will probably bite the bullet and go a 5090 and sit on it for a few more years this time !!

My choice to stay away from Nivida has been a great choice IMO they over price under deliver on Vram and super seed their rubbish ( not to sound completely rude ) but they know the idiots will keep buying the next better model ( even during the same gen and same series ) makes it a stupid waste of money to me ..
if im set on a series say the 80 or 70 series then that should be the only card i need to buy to get the best performance for the life span of that card not the crap first then ti/super variants etc etc ..
We all know we PAY WAY TO MUCH for cards these days as it is !!
@@_nom_ will also add i sadly dont know if AMD can compete again with Nvidia and i find myself not play games as much so a 9950x3d cpu and a 5090 will sort me perfectly for the next 5 years no doubt!!
@@volvot6rdesignawd702yeah at 4k I’m really hoping a 5090 will last a few years…40 series I was not impressed by though…they are getting there…hopefully by 50 series they will be there, finally
They need PS5 Pro out there for GTA6 to reach that 30 fps threshold.
60fps should be the min accepted frame rate. 30 is unacceptable.
I GTA6 runs at 30 FPS on a RX 6700 XT, pc gamers are going to have a problem when you know that the most popular card according to steam survey is the RTX 3060
that's a job for the PS6 my friend, GTA6 won't be out before then at this rate
@@xpodx It depends on the type of game. Many games really don't feel much different between 30 and 60 fps. Not everyone only plays competitive multiplayer games.
@@valderon3692You really should try gaming on a PC at 165Hz you’ll take back your statement of 30 and 60 fps really quick. 30 FPS is not acceptable at all 60 should be bare minimum with a target of 75-90 FPS mainly
5000 series will probably have 16 pin power connection instead of 12 current to offset the burning issue.
GTA V can already reach 60fps with performance mode and raytracing enabled. The rumors are Sony wants 60fps in 4k high quality mode too.
I'm ready to change my 1070 for a 5090, but I'll wait to see if they are not burning first

Nvidia wants you buying a super expensive GPU every year, shocker.
most people buying 4090s and soon to be 5090s aren't gamers. gamers are secondary now.

It may be overrated in some ways but the gaming and productivity apps are already coming and people will want hardware that runs it

Really looking for the 48G Titan
I'm an 80 kinda guy... I'm not willing to pay for the 'top tier' extravagance... the 80s are way better in the bang for the buck way of looking at costs. I have a GTX1080Ti, a 3080, and I'm probably going to wait for the 6080. I have an ultra-wide 2K monitor and can run almost every game at 75 FPS minimum... which is good enough for me.
Yeah no reason upgrade newest every year like apple phones.
I am still on a 1080 but if they make like 5080 ti I would buy that probably
Yeah I feel the same, except in this latest gen the 4080 was a horrible value at its initial $1200 price point. Even $1000 now on the 4080 Super is pushing it when the 3080 (that I own) was only $700. Back then a 3080 was $700 and only 5% slower than a $1500 3090. With the 4080 you are paying at least $1000 for a card that’s 30-50% slower than the $1700 4090.
@@mattspeer01 Only reason I went for the 4090, seemed like the only choice that made sense. Just what Nvidia planned. I went from a 2070 Super to a 4090.

That is why I always get a TI refresh or Super refresh so the founders and first gen card owners can be testers and Nvidia fixes and all the issues.

I currently have a Ryzen 7950X3D + 7900 XTX Red Devil.
And saving up for Zen 5 - 9950X3D + X770E / X870E and maybe RTX 5090. I hope i manage to save up enough by the time they're out.

@volvot6rdesignawd702 When i bought my 7900 XTX Red Devil Limited Edition last year in March. After a couple of months, there was a news article on the internet about some of these particular cards overheating due to bad factory thermal paste application. And indeed my own card was also overheating, reaching 110°C HotSpot temps.
So i Re-Pasted it with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut paste last summer. And the temps went down by 10 - 15°C. Until my card began overheating again recently. So i did another Re-Paste, but this time with KingPin KPx paste. And so far, the temps have been back down to acceptable levels.

I have a feeling they were rushing to put out the Super series of cards. AMD was absolutely crushing them on black friday, at Mindfactory, they were outselling NVidia 2:1, and outselling on both units and ASPs !! Nvidia needs to close the performance canyon between the XX80 and XX90 cards. The 40 series has a huge Gulf.

The 5080 should be at least 1.5x better performance than the 4090, but they'll probably charge at $1,600+ for it with the 5090 being $2,000+
Let's all pray we get get actually good high-end ITX boards for ryzen this time around and not just 1 sub-mid-tier pretender.
rushed out = lots of problems expected. dont forget to buy an adapter for this and an adapter for that and then the gpu explodes
We need more powerful cores, not more cores.
The PS5 Pro GPU being only %45 faster is disappointing as hell. Raytracing on the PS5 is about equivalent to a RTX 2060. So a 2x to 3x improvement should put the PS5 Pro at a RTX 2080 Super level in raytracing performance. The CPU also only has a %10 clock speed increase. The same 16gbs of vram and equivalent memory bandwidth to the Xbox Series X. This leap is far smaller than the PS4 to PS4 Pro.
Yea 45% is kinda crap. Now at least 1.5-2x would be worth it.
Again, comparing a console that are using 200w of power to power the whole console against a card that by itself using 150w ish isn't great tho. not to mention that said card msrp was 350 usd which only 100 dollar less than a whole ps5 digital when it launch.

I expect the RTX 5090 to require more power than the 4090. Imagine the impact to Nvidia stock prices if the RTX 5090 is a disaster or gets a mandatory recall.
All these cards on the market is overkill haven't they all made a 4k 120fps with Ray Trac yet that's all that's required for anyone I would think.....

to be honest only those who buy 4090s would be interested in buying a new version the very next year anyway.. I doubt anyone with a 4060 or 70 would upgrade to a 50 version.. (I still use my 2080 even though I also finally upgraded to a 7800xt)
