    --------
In the latest clip, Rafer Alston described playing against Kobe Bryant and Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals. Alston recalled Kobe playing "phenomenal" in the series and being determined to capture his first NBA title without Shaq. He talked about the reaction of his friends and family after recording a 20-point in Game 3, which ended up being the Orlando Magic's only win in the series. Alston also cosigned coach Stan Van Gundy's decision to shrink his minutes once Jameer Nelson returned from injury.

Rafers run with Orlando was the most successful, they reached the finals and if you remember Rafer was starter as Jameer Nelson got injured in the finals. Rafer actually filled in better as starting PG and helped Orlando win their first ever finals game.

You can play nice all you want now but that move to bring Jameer back in the game when he just came back from an injury is insane. You can go look at the game Jameer wasn’t even himself he couldn’t even guard anyone plus on the offensive side he did nothing. From my eye when I saw that game and Rafer was on the bench he didn’t look too happy in my opinion you go look up the game and watch his body language he ain’t happy. I don’t hate Jameer but he was a liability when he came back he should have come of the bench for the series when coming back from the injury he had.

Kobe really was 6'6 ....6'7 Afro Kobe lol yea but Cleveland would have been in that Finals against LAL if not for LeBron tearing his Hamstring early in the series against Orlando but he went on to average 38/8/8/1/1 on 49% and the entire 6 game series was decided by 37 points so if not for that injury on Bron,we see Kobe vs Bron Finals with Kobe beating King in 6 games due to James' lack of decent teammates compared to Kobe's supporting cast

SVG definitely fucked them by trying to insert Nelson. Doubt they would have won, but it would have been 4-2 or even 4-3 if they stayed with the lineup that got them there. Dude was out way too long to seriously consider giving him minutes

Lebron lucky he didn’t lose 0-4 that year lol if he made the finals… but honestly looking back at that finals I think they all knew deep down that they had no chance of winning especially after Lee missed that layup! So it was only right that everyone got to experience playing in the finals!
