Hey! This was a PILOT EPISODE, fella, and this is the raw, unedited tape! The intro was reshot cuz of the flubs, which happens with professionals, and as is customary, the laughs & applause were appropriately sweetened / enhanced. We're lucky just to have this this tape of Henny!

Read Henny's biography 'Take My Life, Please.' What a life story. The guy was amazing. He really had it hard when he was young; a real scramble.
    I've heard Henny's will read:
To my lawyer Irving I leave nothing, even though I owe him fifty bucks.

Rusty is right! I think this is great comedy, not the crap you get today when every joke is at someone Else's expense. Henny is the top banana in my book, and you can take that to the bank!

    The one and only Henny.
A lot of gentiles probably didn’t get it, but his opening crack to the dweeby host about uprooting a tree in his memory on his next trip to Israel was funny.
The custom is to plant a tree in someone’s memory.

"We don't have clean comedy anymore!" You guys do realize at one point, Youngman's jokes would be risque to just plain crude. "Boston Strangler" and "I tried being athiest" would have been EXTREMELY rude and crude 40+ years prior to this. People would be looking to the comedy when THEY were kids as clean, and forgetting THEY had their OWN comedians and musicians who were considered dirty and crude for their time.
    Elvis was Crude.

yes it does! if you can't say a joke without "f*ck" in it then you're not a comic, you are just a person on stage trying to tell jokes. comedians can make others laugh by telling funny stories and jokes not berating, using curse words, and jumping around being a fool. it's called stand up comedy not foul mouthed-run around-crapidy. later =oP
