Solo fishing on Jekyll Island

Day one of our trip! I woke up early and went on an adventure while mom slept in. Jekyll island is only about 15 minutes south of St Simons. St Andrew’s park is on the south side of the island. A short boardwalk and a lot of history is along this little walk to the beach. I didn’t catch any fish, only a hermit crab but it was a lot of fun.

I fish kinda on the other end of the Island. I've been there on Saturdays and as far as you can see, you'll only see 30 people. Its a beautiful place.

I live there. I cannot explain the shear beauty and tranquility of both islands- usually just have to show people pics/videos. You are doing it justice. Hope you caught some fish👊🏼🎣🏝️

The whiting bite turns on the end of March when the water temp hits 65 to 67 degrees. It won't take long to find them. I absolutely love fishing there just not real happy about all the new hotels going up everywhere. Love the video.

I love how you appreciate the beauty of nature. You are so unique. Never afraid to go on these adventures alone and very independent. Such a love for all creatures and not afraid to let a spider or crab crawl in your hand. So kind to give the crab some dinner. I didn’t know crabs lived in shells in the water.
