This was a fantastic 2-part video. The questions and explanations were targeted and concise. You guys need to continue making projects together. What a brave move to ask your wife to learn cabinet building. What a brave wife to say yes!
I think one of the greatest parts of this entire build was your wife's honest opinion of how difficult or easy it was. That is what other "helpers" need to see to understand what it takes to build a cabinet and to have someone "helping"/ learning. It is a lot of work at first until you build confidence and with a great instructor it can be fun as she stated.
We had a really good time filming this together.
There are times when I'd like to be able to give two thumbs up for a video. This and the previous part were one of them.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. The longer format doesn't bother me as long as it doesn't "drag" on, and I'm getting something for my time spent. Your vids hit the mark. I, like you, enjoy sharing my knowledge. Keep doing what you're doing.
Great video, all it takes is good teacher, some patience and she did great. I wish I had that 3d printed dust collection attachment for mine to.
Well, I said it last week but it is worth repeating - this format really works - where we viewers are watching you teach someone who interacts - rather than you just teaching us viewers who cannot interact - so well done!
Also, in this format. multiple camera angles are not an issue as we are observers - rather than you talking to us. So the filming is good.
For me the length is not an issue - you have many topics to cover and do it well in one video - it is far better than splitting it into many smaller chunks then having to put multiple links up to other sections. The only improvement, as others suggested, may be an index in the description so people can jump to sections.
I look forward to the videos where Mrs B teaches you knitting and sewing :-).
Great tutorial. Thank you for spending time and sharing your knowledge. Greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪
My pleasure!
I enjoyed it, but as someone mentioned, shorter formats get more views and comments. Nice result.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Excellent video - Appreciate you making detailed content!
I appreciate that!
Now for the outtakes where you screw up (which you invariably did at some point) & Nicole laughs at you 🤣🤣🤣
Great video
Another great video! Thanks for creating awesome content 🙌
Thanks brother. It appears you’re the only one that feels that way 🤣🤣
@bentswoodworking there's not many that'll watch a real long format video, attention span isn't there. Personally, I'm a Paul Harrell "Thanksgiving Day Special" kind of guy. Sometimes, the longer the better.
@@bentswoodworkingI would enjoy chapters though so I can find specific parts. These videos are great for referencing when you get to a certain part of a project.
I do like that you were involved your wife in this and that she’s not just supporting you but actually participating with you. I’m sure it helps her support you in a more meaningful way now that she understands better what you do in the shop.
Where can I get the 3D printed part of the file for the dust collection on the Kreg hinge boring jig?
You don't square up your drawer before screwing in the bottom? Wow....
