Zhongli's english voice is good tho lmao. Each dub kinda gives a different vibes. The english one took to a more elderly and serious tone (which rex lapis describes as a god who likes war) that makes him sounds "hard as a rock". The japanese voice gives more like "a newly adult man" and he still gives a "soft" side into the voice. I haven't actually heard the chinese and korean dub so no comment. Both english and japanese are so different but yet they still gives the "geo" vibe. Earth can be either "soft" and "hard" lol

I switched real quick to japanese even though i could miss some voice lines/cant read the subs/ that happens after a cut scene bec u have to fight immediately, i just cannot laugh in his eng va because of Nazeem and his cloud district fixations
Don't get me wrong, i love Tomoaki Maeno but if only Junichi Suwabe voiced him instead,, i think his voice would fit both Zhongli's appearance and character really well
TBH personally I feel as if Kaeya's JP VA (Toriumi Kousuke) would fit much better for Zhongli than Maeno Tomoaki does, but Maeno Tomoaki is still one of my favourite VA of all time.
Huh true. What if they actually swapped voices? Also, Toriumi Kousuke's deeper voice sounds like it could suit Zhongli more. If Tomoaki Maeno goes for a cunning tone for Kaeya just like Toriumi does, I think it would work, too.

Huh, his japanese voice is kinda predictable and boring, his intonation is just like any other voice but different guy, it doesn't have distinct characteristics whatsoever. His English voice may sound old, but it fits his personality, and at least people can easily tell that it's his voice.
