    • @bob_._.
      @bob_._. Před 5 lety

      @@hestheMaster If used without proper protection, sure. And your eye protection won't protect your skin from caustic chemicals. Of course the safest method is probably some sort of media blasting with either a vortex dust collector or a scrubber, but I figured that might be prohibitively expensive in this instance.

How about lightning The opacity not so dark but the color is wonderful, beautiful dark cherry very nice just lighten it up I would completely detail the seats leather what have you on the interior, and I saw the guy at Diecast restoration do a affect that made the engine look worn and heated very nice I would do that on this engine other than that dude you always do great work always stretching yourself and that I can appreciate. You wanted some suggestions there you go, keep up the great work 👍🏿😺

  • @Tiger351
    @Tiger351 Před 5 lety

    Definitely moisture under the paint, they call them humidity blisters over here. I'd call that colour more burgundy or claret than purple, maybe it's just one coat too many causing the colour change. I'm loving that Gundam wash, it really makes the factory chrome look way better. I kinda like seeing your fails on the videos, it just makes your wins look even more epic, keep up the good work dude.

  • @DollarBill777
    @DollarBill777 Před 5 lety

    The messup in your paint is fisheye. There's a contaminant under the clear keeping it from adhering like it is supposed to. Could have been a wet spot from the waterbase paint. I have found if you dry the paint with air or heat, the top dries, but underneath it remains wet. Makes like a skin on top. Learned my lesson on a Harley fuel tank. Dunno if this will help, but I do enjoy the channel and the comments also. Keepem blubbin

    Everyone knows that your paint jobs are always on fleek. So a little bit of insights on your struggles on the way to the result you like the most is super interesting. For me i instantly liked the dark original grey color. but would have pimped it into a three color of a glossy black top, a narrow stripe of glossy yellow in the middle and a matt finished grey on the bottom. i love the combination of gloss and matt. And then if possible put on some "yellow-liners" which i don't know if they even exist haha.

    I like the car and the idea of a 2 tone finish. Seeing how well the wash worked makes me wonder if the lower half of the body needs a midnight blue highlight. Not enough to show as a dark blue but as almost a ghost flame blue . I love the wheels. If you wanted to keep the red and the redline style wheels the base coat needs to be a lighter color. Red over a charcoal grey and follow that up with a black respray for the top half. You do really great work.

    I like that you are not afraid to try something, and if it's not right, go back and fix it, time permitting. If you had more time on it I doubt you would have left the error. But you wanted to get the video out and I totally respect that. I honestly don't mind the purple, maybe it's a flashback to Skeletor. His armour was purple and the car has a skull. In fact, I would totally custom repaint this as a Skeletor Bone Shaker or a Bonehead Shaker as He-Man might say. Yeah, light blue lower line, purple upper part, yellow green spectraflame chrome skull, matt black interior, gundham marker engine. Imagine that?! I'm still stuck in the 80's though. Looking forward to the next one and can't wait to get started on some of mine.

    I do like the colour, i like the darkness of the colour. Sometimes things don't come out like you want. You, try and you force the things to come out like you want. Than its getting worse. I know this very well.
    Sometimes I ask myselve,
    maybe, life will show me something else, maybe a better idea?
