  • Today, we compare the Hisense U8N ULED MINI-LED at 65" against last year's very popular HISENSE U8K also at 65". What improvements have been made? How big a difference is there, and is it worth the premium price of the brand new U8N? Please let me k know your thoughts in the comments, and thank you so much for watching!
    Special thanks to the Amazing Jennifer Gala and her second channel, HDR SUPER CHANNEL, for all her incredible content seen within this video.

      After watching your comparison I can actually see the local dimming, color, detail and contrast improvements in the U8N. Refreshing to see material improvements after several years of pretty much nothing in mini-led tech. I had the 85" UX and it was a good TV but agree that DV wasn't that good, overall I was happy with it but returned it just in time once I heard that Hisense is releasing a 98" UX, so now I am patiently waiting. Great content as always, looking forward to your upcoming content on the 2024 UX and TCL's QM851.

      @@mahdighali8722 I just found out that since I purchased the 75in I have some kind of anti glare panel. It works wonders. I see my windows open (I have no curtains very bright room) while watching but it doesn’t stop me from seeing the picture at all! As far as the contrast I don’t own an oled to compare it to but I am quite familiar with oleds to my eye I can only tell the slightest differences. For the brightness level I get I’ll take mini LED anyway over oled. Hands downs. There picture as a whole is extremely black where it should be given the fact that most of the led are actually off to accomplish the blacks.

    The U8N looks great, was actually thinking of the U8K but all content look better on the U8N. The only other TV I'd consider is the Sony Bravia 7, but the difference in price is pretty significant - $2799 (U8N) vs $3299 (Bravia 7) for an 85inch. Plus the fact that you don't need to get a soundbar for the U8N makes it a great value across the board. Hisense did just announce the U9N (probably to compete with the Bravia 8 and 9). Great videos as always Brian!

    Great video as usual Brian you captured so much of what makes these TVs breathtaking . I'm about to unbox my 65" U8K , put it beside a 75" U8K with ADS Pro Panel (wall display) I'm having delivered this week from BB . Last week it still looked unreal at BB, so the comparison will be interesting . This weekend I helped my friend unbox and mount his 65" U8N and you displayed its merits to a T . Vibrant beyond compare but like a super charged Ferrari you must get to know it and not drive it 200 mph , and it's quite capable of doing so , on a regular street . Tame it and balance it to its strengths and the panel should be something uniquely special . Will update once I fiddle with my two Hisenses .

In need of a quality budget TV that has little issue with that. The Hisense U8H lasted 13 months, but issues started right at 12 months. The repairman just just left today after he destroyed the screen (warranty repair thing) and left me without anything until Hisense gets back in touch with me. In market again now

And also to the people that like 3D movies, the Just Video Walls will play 3D movies and also without 3D Glasses ( don't know how that would work). They also stated that ALL Video Walls will display 3D movies. You just need the right kind of Blu-ray player to play a 3D movie, because not all of them will work.

    Can you please compare the 55" U8K vs 55" U8N ? These sizes are over looked because supposedly and I think it is true, 65" models sell more. I don't like 65" TV's since 4k at 65" is too low of a pixel density, even if you use a dynamic super resolution on a PC game using it as a monitor, you are still losing out on pixel density compared to a 55" model and I like to play with the screen 3-3.5 (sometimes 4 feet) away from my face.
    It seems like every review site and every one on youtube only compares/reviews 65" models.

  • @davidross7255

    Thanks, Brian, for this comparison. I have a quick question, how does the U8N in your opinion compare to the LG G4? Does the U8N match the clarity, upscaling and depth perception of the G4, if so I might be tempted to go with the 75-inch U8N and get the Denon 3800H receiver for the same cost as the 77-inch G4. Since you have seen both TVs your input is highly appreciated.

    • @paulcox2447
      @paulcox2447 Před 2 měsíci +1

      It does not. The g4 has top tier processing right there with a95k. Even the step down processor on the c series or b series is still ahead of hisense on processing.
      If clarity, upscaling and a 3d look are important to you I'd get the G4. It's going to excel in those areas.
