- On Saturday 11/26/22 @ 2213 hours the Nassau County PD requested the Syosset FD fourth with for a fire in the 2nd precinct. Paramedic unit 5896 reported a working fire. Chief of Department Silver transmitted a working fire while still en route. Engine 585 was first due and stretched and operated the first line to quickly knockdown the fire. Tower Ladder 582 was the fire due truck and performed searches, ventilation and opened up to check for extension. Numerous mutual aide Engines and Trucks operated.
That 580RV should be moved to the lower left corner, it's annoying to have it where it is.
That's one way to get a new police precinct! Actually it's gonna be a pain in the ass - setting up a temporary station, operating in cramped quarters and then moving everything into the new building. Good luck guys.
Great video and a good stop on this size of structure!!!
Shout out to my fellow long island volunteers, nice show of #'s, dedication and great job as always
Sweet footage!
Old school single blast for starting water at hydrant, cool.
GREAT JOB ON THE VIDEO ! VERY WELL DONE ! THANK YOU ! 🇺🇲
Awesome job guys stay safe
It's strange to see ac units in the windows, especially for windows that are at the street level. Why does it look like an apartment building?
Confusing. Was there 2 different fires? . Was the police department also on fire ? Move the watermark off to the side more.
The building is built into a hillside. The basement is exposed in the rear, making it seem like the first floor
great video and pictures. Any clue on the cause?
Fire in the kitchen... Most likely the stove was left on unattended...
0:01 how do you get that message
Wow 😮! What caused it…electrical??? No injuries hopefully
I'm confused are there two fires going on
Is this 2 different 😳 fires.. the building looks different
Looks like a one story in the front. Two story in the rear with center hallway running bravo to delta sides.
Why are those windows still there, Ventilate!
With all we know about firefighting and cancer, it still blows my mind to see guys without their masks on.
9:00 Inside on the second floor, smoke everywhere..firefighter no mask 🤕
@@tankD21 Yep. Makes me sad. I've seen too many good people die unnecessarily from preventable cancer.
Tough guys. Wanna look good for the buff pics
@@mikem600 Stupid guys not gonna look so good fighting off their cancer.
Mask saved a whole fire crew in California I just watched a documentary called boyed street about a fire station on skid row LA. Very great definitely recommend it ti firefighters and formers like me and really anyone who loves fire fighting or loves documentaries in general well put together
I think the origin of the fire was a kitchen.
That's not pre-arrival. They're already there
Why not take out the windows to help that inside hose crew.
Nice job. Get inside and put it out. Vent the roof. Learn from this keyboard firefighters.
I would hit the training grounds before you get someone hurt
More know it alls in this page then experts!
