The craziest thing about Elizabeth II is that she is truly in a class all her own: she is not only the longest-reigning monarch in British history, but since the three other people to have lasted longer in their reigns in Lichtenstein, Thailand and France are dead now and were all male, Elizabeth II is ALSO the longest-reigning female to rule over a monarchy in human history, having passed her grandmother Victoria's record seven years ago. Duran's History of the Indies of New Spain is one of the longer, more in depth works, and has a pretty cheap, easy to buy english translation. 1. Change your phone to the language you are learning because you’re forcing yourself to constantly read it which helps a lot.
    2. Watch tv shows in the language
    3. Make social media friends you can practice with. Social media is the biggest reason I’m fluent in Spanish and French and learning German. Try to video chat them to verbally practice
    4. If you play video games, play them in the language you are learning if you can. For example, I love PokĂ©mon and I’ve played PokĂ©mon in French and German.
    5. Read books you’ve read in English in the language you’re learning. I’ve read all 7 Harry Potter books in Spanish, French, and now I’m reading them in German.

A bit of a explaination on the pronuncation of the name of Bhumibol: The name was derived from Sanskrit meaning that there are sounds in Sanskrit not present in Thai, thus the name is pronunced more like (Poom-mi-pon) even though it is spelt (Boom-mi-bol).

Oh I’m so loving the history topics on here keep it up. People can learn while their mobile. Excuse the pun. Especially if they don’t want to read. That’s a positive way to go. It’s fascinating, can be entertaining, shocking, scandalous , even funny sometimes.

Including the time monarchs were reigning but with an heir is the same thing as including monarchs ruling over a state that is not fully sovereign. To be consistent, either both or neither! I prefer both, which is why I consider Sobhuza II of eSwatini to be the longest reigning monarch of all time.
Its also worth mentioning Tanumafili II, who served 67 years as the Malietoa of Samoa

In the kingdom of Aragon as well as in the balearic islands and the conquested Valencia, catalan was the language spoken, and calling the diferent rulers and decendents from Jaume I in the spanish version is a mistake. If the video is in english their names can be englicised or mantained in the original, which is catalan (Pere, Jaume, etc.), but chosing spanish makes a revision of history and may be led to infere that the kingdom of Aragon was somehow already then tied to Castille or even subjugated to it which was not the case in the middle ages.

Overall, excellent and informative. I apologise for the pedantry, but at the 18:55 mark, the Johan II of Lichtenstein information rather disturbingly denotes his birth, reign and birth.
