Hey guys, today we are going to look at the mysterious Angkor Wat Temple in Cambodia, which has many strange secrets hidden inside. Historians say it was built about 900 years ago with simple tools , but by the end of this video, I think you will agree with me that this is not true at all.
You may have already known that this is the largest religious monument in the world, but how big is this temple? The temple stretches more than 400 acres, that is more than three times the size of the entire Vatican city, or about 300 times the size of an American football field. So you can imagine the size of this temple. Even if we take out all the walking space and empty land, the sheer area covered by stone blocks is at least 10 Million Square Feet. And we are not looking at just a 2 dimensional ground area, we have to look at the volume in 3D because it is made of layers and layers of stone blocks, pillars, ceiling, and towers. The Iconic central towers in the middle, which almost look like drill bits, they are still the tallest structures in this city, even after all these years. The central tower is 213 feet tall, and this view is actually printed on the Flag of Cambodia.
So imagine what would be the sheer volume of rocks needed to build a temple which stretches for 10 million square feet and has a pyramidal height of more than 200 feet. If we calculate the weight of all the sandstone blocks which make up this pyramid, we get about 52 Million tons of rock. I have used a calculator to calculate this weight, using the density of sandstone. Now, we have already not included the rocks in the foundation, we have not included the millions of stone blocks going many feet deep in the moat, and the rocks placed around the moat. And that is already 52 Million tons of rock. Now what I am going to do is take only 20% of this number, so this way we know this is a very very conservative estimate, because Angkor Wat is not a true solid pyramid, there are lots of hollow spaces in between. Let us actually take even less than 20%, we will only take 10,000,000 tons. So this way we know at least this much of rocks would have been used to build the temple.
Okay, so why are we calculating the weight of the stone blocks in this temple? Because, archeologists and historians argue that the entire temple was built in just 37 years. You know the standard theory, people using chisels and hammers to build temples.
Now let us assume that these people worked from sunrise to sunset everyday for 37 years. So they worked straight for 12 hours with no breaks, they don't eat, they don't even blink, and no rainy days, no war, no festivals for 37 years. That is a total of 162,060 hours. So if you do the math, if you divide the amount of rocks by the number of hours, this is the answer we get, approximately 60 tons. This means that they would have to cut and place at least 60 tons of rock every hour. This is 1 Ton of rock every minute. So for every minute they have to measure, cut, carve, lift, place and align one ton of rock. This is simply IMPOSSIBLE. We cannot accomplish this even today, even with modern machinery, we have not yet developed the technology to cut, position and polish one ton of rock of every minute. That is more than 2000 pounds of rock every minute, or 1000 kilograms every minute.

I was in Angkor Wat a few weeks ago. As an engineer and fan of the idea of ancient lost technologies there is so much to see here. One more thing to add to this video is the randomly shaped stones which still seamlessly fit in the foundation of the structure. I asked my guide about it and he wasn't to sure about how. He said the elders told him that the builders put the stones in place with bamboo sticks they put in holes on top of the stones, which are visable, but not on every stone.
Also my guide told me that Angkor Wat is build on a hill of dirt. First they put a baselayer of vulcanic rocks on the hill (these are visible in the complex where stones are missing, they look like the stones of the stupa in the video), after that they put on the shaped limestone. They build the temple from the top down basically. This is ofc still very impressive and is worth a lot of engineering questions.
On the quarrying my guide mentioned that they moved the stones with bamboo rafts, but not on top, but on the bottom. The stone would be underneath the water.
Great video, great place. Visit it if u are able to!

Although there are some hindu influences, the Khmer architecture and culture are very unique in their own styles within these region. What I find even more amazing:
    1. To find the perfect location where the ground that the temple is built on is solid enough and able to support the tremendous weight of the structure without sinking.
    2. The years it took just to mentally visualise and then to design the structures on paper by the top architects.
    3. To find enough qualified people able to read the blueprints and instruct the workers( that never built such a structure before) what and how to assemble pieces arriving on site.
    4. The logistics of not only housing but also feeding the masses on such a grand scale. Where did all the food come from?
    5. If slaves were used to carry out the heavy lifting then you would also need an army of soldiers stationed not only at the quarry but all along the 50 mile long road and on the job site itself to prevent escapes.
    6. People both skilled and unskilled continuously died and had to be replaced. From where?
    7. With all the people on the sites
    garbage would have piled up.
    Has evidence been found?
There are so many more questions but there are too many to be listed

For point 1 they actually did something even more impressive than that. The ground there cannot support the weight of the temple. It would have sunk and collapsed by now if not for the moat. The weight of the water pressing down in the moat creates an upward pressure on the island which allows the ground to support the weight of the temple.

Due to the bible saying the world was created 6000 years ago, they simply cannot have any history before that time period. Although now the influence of the church has waned, accepted theories still mostly do not deviate from the biblically acceptable timeline.

Also graha doesnt mean planet (as in the English word) it means seizing, holding, catching, - so all bodies in the solar system play that role (through gravitation) due to which the solar system stays the way it does. They also “hold” “seize” us by influencing our destinies and lives.

Sir, you have blown my mind with this video! Excellent work. Your points are valid - I have always thought this about Angkor Watt. It is definitely older and belongs to another civilisation. It may have taken many centuries to build with primitive tools and a lot of skill, but it is on par with the Pyramids of Egypt in significance and the solar and celestial knowledge of this civilisation is incredible for its time. This leads me to believe they may have had advanced technology to achieve this. The roots of Hinduism are truly ancient and perhaps were more than a religion to begin with and more of a system of knowledge and tradition. We know the Indus valley civilisation predates Mesopotamia and ancient Sumer and is perhaps on par with pre dynastic Egypt or older. There is also evidence that the Indian ocean was home to a sunken continent and advanced maritime civilisation, because more and more archaeology is coming up around the sea. Perhaps these two are connected as Cambodia has always been known as a bridge between Far Eastern and Indian culture. It may even have been the original, who can say. The link between India and Egypt is mainstream knowledge as the river Nile has always been the active trade route between India and the Mediterranean sea and Atlantic ocean, which is what made Egypt so wealthy btw. I asked a Vietnamese teacher about Angkor Watt and she said that what is beneath the temple is the reason for its construction, perhaps to preserve something. The land is marshy there so it is hard to believe but it may well be the case. Cambodian civilisation has definitely been hushed over by western science and history so it is really up to local academics to spread the word. It was known about as some British and American writers have used the idea of Angkor Watt to write science fiction novels in the early XX century.

Only licenced Cambodian tour guides are officially allowed to be your guides inside the complex at least these days, but there is little they can do if you go with a local "friend", who is of course doing it purely from the kindness of their heart. And guards monitoring the situation might not be so sharp-eyed if they get a small donation towards the education of their children.
Of course it is perfectly feasible that the ex-monk has got the training to become an official guide; I guess many of the locals have learned Angkor's history from booklets and guides telling the stories to tourists.

Please refrain from prejudice, use reason and evidence to find out the truth.❣
There are probably many people in this world who want to know.
The story of the ancient world, the truth is greater than fiction.
Thailand (Siam) give orders to build the wonders of the world called Angkor Wat.yougotthis
Cambodian people are just tribesmen who sell labor to build Angkor Wat.🤔
If you search, you will find many evidence such as ancient inscriptions.
Either in China, Burma or Vietnam, leading to the belief that Siam is the real owner of Angkor Wat. The Khmers are not the real owners of Angkor Wat. Suryavarman II came from Siam. Evidence from stone carvings indicates that great kings such as Suryavarman II came from Thailand's Lopburi province. King Jayavarman V traveled from Phimai in Thailand.
The Kingdom of Siam predates the Angkor Wat era.☺
For example, the name of the Kingdom of Lawo. Dvaravati Kingdom
All of these were established by Siam.
Lawo Kingdom located in the area of Lopburi Province on the land of Thailand at present
Lawo people speak Thai words ancient Thai language🧐
If there is information to discuss, there should be an on-stage debate.Must have representatives from many countries
came to listen as witnesses and judges such as Indians, the origin of civilization
There are various evidences of Siam to explain to humans to discover the truth. and unanimously summarized Angkor Wat data
      because truth is truth💯👀

Brilliant video! I have been to Angkor Wat myself and it is obvious that the work took centuries from beginning to end. It seems to me that some radical change occurred between the original occupants and the last residents of the city-temple. Religious wise, I guess the area may have been used by other people not of hindu origin, but that is only my personal guess, just like the way the stones were moved in. What cannot be argued, though, is the fact that it is a magnificent structure and I am glad it is still there. I heard the towers were once covered by gold and sometimes wonder at how it must have looked then... Great job! I'm glad I got to see this today!

There is a part of history that is completely unknown to us. When some of it are being discovered, they are being forced to fit in our known history. However, the fact of the matter, as exemplified by Angkor Wat and many others, is that there was a much more advanced civilization before.

If you look at the major sites around the world, I do not believe that humans built them. Maybe humans helped with the manpower, but the megalithic sites and others like the constructed islands made of columnar basalt just cannot be done by humans. Quality of workmanship is one thing, but transportation of materials from miles away is impossible for humans! There are just too many sites all over the earth that we humans cannot build, there had to be off planet technology.

My grandpa mentioned Angkor house. May be he is referring to this. When I asked him , do you have any idea about Angkor house, he said no. But he told me that he is referring to a huge house of Angkor as his ancestors also used the term

I agree. Nothing made today lasts like those structures. The explanations of today's professionals are more mythical than the idea our ancestors were superior to us in many ways. I think humanity has lost far more knowledge than we have gained.

It is clear to determine Praveen Mohan's intellectual prowess is second to none. His passion to unearth from high level to fine detail to explain the most plausible explanation. Thanks for your great work. Many have tried explain away
Angkor Wat's existence but fail miserably. Love to hear about the possible date of this temple.
