EF 2 Tornado Damage - Pittston Township Pa

On February 25 2017 an EF2 Tornado touched down in Luzerne and Lackawanna counties in NEPA around 2:35PM. It traveled 12 miles.
Working closely with ATC out of Avoca Airport and the National Weather Service out of Binghamton we were able to document some of the aftermath of the tornado in Pittston Township Pa.

Slatington got hit pretty hard, no tornado, just straight line winds.
However, I noticed rotation above the town itself, but there wasn't no funnel or anything.

Pennsylvania doesn't get tornadoes they said...nothing to worry about they said.
Wrong! We can get them. Glad it wasn't any worse.
