The Peckville Christmas House - 2019
Here's our yearly visit to the Peckville Christmas House on Marion Street in Peckville Pennsylvania. I can almost guarantee that you'll never see this many blow molds in one place in your life.
The Peckville Christmas House, located on Marion St in Peckville, finally received the recognition they deserved. On December 11th 2017 the display put on by the Harhut family was a contestant on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Flight”
The Peckville Christmas House is actually 2 homes right next to each other - both owned by members of the Harhut family. The display features over 1300 blow mold decorations and has been a fixture of the Peckville Pennsylvania neighborhood for three decades. Recently, word has spread with the help of social media as well as some amazing drone footage shot from Access Aerial and other area drone pilots. The Display caught the eye of producers from ABC this year and while the Harhut's ultimately did not win the televised competition they did get national attention. Good thing too! Word is the display costs over $2000 per season so be sure to drop a little something in the donation jar after your visit.
If you are anywhere in northeastern Pennsylvania you need to stop and see this Christmas display. It's very unique and it'll soon become a yearly tradition for your family.
🎄Illuminated blow mold decorations = 1300+
🎅Electric bill for the season = $2000+
😍Smile on everyone's face = Priceless!

Still my Favorite video for The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train - Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎄🎆🎇 🙂
Beautiful video of the lights of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train!
This is so cool! Us as kids had no idea what it looked like at the top
Im not impressed
Catchy tune.
What is the third rail for?
Do the tunnel before it, that's cool to. Been on this have a bunch of pics somewhere. I worked for cp rail. Amazing structure for sure.
The view that a drone can provide of such an impressive structure is quite beautiful. Nice presentation of this famous stone structure. Thank you.
lol cool music choice. visuals get a liiiiiiiiiitle slow toward the end but I love the ambition of editing to this. cool shit
The almost forgotten viaduct that doesn't get the publicity it deserves. It's on a curve, too, like the Delaware River Viaduct. Another engineering marvel.
Stylish as uniforms
Are trains still running there in 2021?
Nice shot of Elk Mountain in the background.
I was on I81 towards Wilkes-Barre when the alerts went off. The funny thing is I told my mother in law who was in the car with me, I said. "You know I'm not a meteorologist but that looks like tornado weather up ahead" She said oh God don't say that. Not more than 5 mkns later all of our phones and GPS went off.
an inspire?
Very nice video. Do you happen to know when was the track centered on the viaduct?
Interesting. I didn't know the track had been centered. Maybe it was maintenance work by NS or Canadian Pacific?
Is this by the Delaware Water Gap in eastern Pennsylvania?
Hello. When swiping the camera from left to right or from right to left at 119.88 FPS, the picture jerks are observed. What do you think is the problem?
Amazing, a bridge over 100 years old and still in service. Barry
that is because Rail road bridges are built a lot better then interstate high way bridges
Nice! You would never know the bridge was even there.
Bro I kinda wish the strip club got destroyed
Nice video! Thanks!
I was in Dunmore at the time of this.
I have 2 blow molds I would like to donate to this exhibit... does anyone know how I can get in touch with owner?
cool!!!!!!!
Buy a Duck !!!!
Thank you CP for the superb train. Merry Christmass. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Just there today

It's nice to get some historical background on the trestle !!!!! thanks !!
Next time, get some corner action. I don't care about the start, I wanna see them dance around the corners :P
Can you please share/advice ways of you doing timelapse refer to minute 1:11
At the one minute mark, the wooden platform on the lower part of the span was built by a group of young adults from NJ for bungee jumping. It lasted two summers until one of them hit the water and had to be rescued. I can't believe the platform and the ropes are still there after 24 years!
WOW!
Any issues with vibration with the 45mm on the X5s?
Pretty stable with the I2. There is an add-on ring that adds a little weigh to it for stabilization.
Hi. I enjoy your videos. I am a “hobbyist “ drone pilot, just starting out. I have a DJI spark (registered faa) I am very interested in train footage and in particular steam town. My question is , isn’t steam town a national park, therefore I’m not allowed to fly there ? Any tips or pointers would be very helpful.
The technical answer: The National Park Service drone rules prevent the TAKE-OFF and LANDING of a drone on their land. Their rules don't specifically prohibit drones from operating in the airspace ABOVE their lands. Hence, you could take-off outside the boundaries of a national park, overfly the park, and then land outside the park. The practical answer: You would still have to follow all FAA rules....and maintaining visual line of sight might be the hardest. If the park is small enough (like Steamtown) , perhaps this is possible. The NPS can also file a complaint against you if harassed wildlife (unlikely at Steamtown), put people at risk (possibly...a judgement call), or used a powered drone in a "non-developed" area (not applicable to Steamtown). From the footage in this video, I don't believe he violated any of those rules...and that's assuming his drone entered the park at all. But you would be at the mercy of a fed bureaucrat who can jam you up with all sorts of paperwork and nonsense...so the practical advice is to be super discrete, or don't do it at all.
Nice video. I went over this viaduct years ago on a train. I also drove up a dirt road and walked out on it only to be chased by a railroad cop.

Very nice video
first
This is such an awesome video! Its very moving, and too underrated
Nice .great video.
love videos from the area
Hi
Class
Steamtown is a National Park, isn't it illegal to fly a drone at a National Park ? Just asking, as I am new to drones. Your video is awesome, and if love to be able to fly there 😁
icemanwbs drone it is illegal to launch from the grounds. None of my footage was taken care bee nps grounds. I used some zoom lenses ;)
@@AccessAerial ahhh, gotcha. Like I said, I'm very new to drones. I'm especially interested in capturing trains. My DJI SPARK DRONE doesn't have zoom, but I'd still like to launch close to steam town.
Great video . Went to Scranton to watch them taking the bridge down.
Don't forget the Starrucca viaduct in Susquehanna, Pa.
Where’s kidder st
know this post is 2 months old and I'm not to sure if you're from the area or not but kidder st is in Wilkes Barre, Pa and is home to pretty much our entire shopping area. The street itself had very minimal damage. Most of it was in the two of the shopping plazas we have here
i was near Wilkes Barre in April
spell check - mettle not meddle. Liked the overhead shots
Thanks on both accounts!
