OOooh I made it into this one...🤣🤣. So pleased yoou are in the finals few laps now Jb...Steve...🙂
Of all the things that i love in this video, the use of the metric system is my fave.
Well done. I was going to use the word saga like a Star Wars reference but glad you pipped me to it!
Cutting glass and tiles is a pain (or pane in pardoning the pun! lol). That bamboo seems to be doing the trick for the right pressure!
You could always make a cold frame with any spare glass or even use the poly carbon for cold frame seedling starters. The pallet(s) could be cut down into 4 sections, with the window(s) as the lid.
Great idea! A cold frame is one of those little projects I've had in the back of my mind for ages! I have loads of sheet plastic left over from the first greenhouse I ever made which I should really repurpose!
Hey JB, This was so much fun to see how the first cuts did not go well but you kept going and then all of a sudden you got it!! It is like teaching someone to drive a manual transmission when they finally figure out the clutch pedal. I am so so happy for you with all the thought and effort you deserve to have a win. Now I can't wait for the end result. Just be very very safe around the cut glass there are so many sharp spurs and barbs that can cut very deep so fast. You have good gloves be sure to always have them. Bye for now
Thank you!
🥳 I cheered out loud at 9:20 when the corner piece went in, “it’s perfect!!!”
Yesssssssss!!
When completed don’t forget to clean all the glass. 😂
By the way I just eaten my first crop of the microgreen radish from Grown local that I won. It was very nice, it tasted like peppery cress. Thanks again
So satisfying how those two front bays worked out and have come together nicely 👍
Better than I could have dreamed!
Well done JB,, great job cutting the grass,, you never know what you can achieve unless you give it a go,,
Looks so much better, well done with the challenge of glass cutting. If you want to remove small remainders use a pair of pliers and nibble them off.
They have special glass pliers just for that purpose!
Great set of videos, thanks for the full range of emotions we were subjected to along the way!! 👏👏
Highly highly impressed, you've outdone yourself buddy 👍
Thank you pal!!
You're doing great! A couple of things that will help with the cutting are, to make sure you brush off the surface you are cutting on to make sure there is no grit or anything under the glass, and cleaning the glass will help also in getting a clean score. I'm glad to see you are getting somewhere. I wish I had a real greenhouse.
Yes this is a great point! I realised that during the first cut and then was just wiping down along where I would score! What's your greenhouse situation?
OMG, great content JB I was holding my breath when you made the first cut, well-done and good luck with the rest. You've got this. 👍
Ha! Thank you Derek!! Glad it was enjoyable
JB,
Your greenhouse is looking fantastic, you’re turning into a professional greenhouse builder.
Hurrah! All your efforts have paid off!
Hi JB, Yay! Fantastic job! Glass cutting genius too! Its looking so much better with no polycarbonate. Thanks for sharing and take care 🙂
Such an improvement isn't it!! Thanks Christine
SO SO SO PLEASED FOR YOU well done
Was having really trouble cutting some greenhouse glass, this video sorted me out, just finished glazing mine thanks to you, cheers!
No way!! That has made my day. Wasn't meant to be instructional but I'm so glad it helped 😁
The bamboo stick trick is a winner haha
Go you 😁 Your smiles say it all. Well done 🤗
Looks much better, great job JB. X
Well done JB it's been fantastic journey I've just started mine rebuilt an 8ft x 6ft greenhouse and i am coupling to a 6ft x 6ft greenhouse that's already built using some spare's I've got, when it's complete it will be a greenhouse 6ft wide by18ft long
Sounds brilliant Stephen, you are a DIY wizard!
Nice one JB - great progress and the glass is so much better than the old (cloudy) polycarb👍
"You've seen my reputation with measurements". Made me giggle IRL 😆 Well done though! Especially the corner pieces.
😅 Thanks Ras!
Congratulations on your success in adversity. You certainly deserve this greenhouse, may many chillies grow happily in it.
❤❤
Looks so much better chap, nice one
Well done we are all so proud of you and your determination, hope next update it will be completed 👍
Thank you so much Sarah!!
OH JB! The joy!!! SO pleased for you! Nearly there! 😃
Well done JB! You're doing a great job and will have learnt so many different jobs by the time it's finished. I wonder if Tony would have the patience to cut the glass to the exact size! Hahaha! This time next month....who knows what will be going on it there😁🌱🌱🌱xx
YAY 🎉🎉🎉😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏 Persistent pay's off !!!!!! WELL DONE 👏👏👏👏

Congrats JB.
That's like watching someone blowing up a balloon too far. I am sitting here wincing!!
Man, when life throws JB lemons...he just makes a refreshing drink. Great job JB and have a Happy Birthday..from Indian River County Fl
Adore this comment! Thanks Anthony
Still hasn't bought any glass, but bought a glass cutter,I suppose that's progress😂😂😂😂it's the longest greenhouse build ever I reckon JB🙈😂
hahahaha so true
@@JBNat 😂😂
Hi JB I'm impressed, I broke quite a few panes of glass before I just seemed to get the knack like yourself, Triangle shapes seem to be the hardest to get right for me as I'm in the measure once & cut twice camp.
love to see your excitement and happiness on achievements, well done
Wow, well done! That's looking better already. I'm so impressed at how quickly you got the hang of the glass cutting. You'll be house building next! xx
Thank you! I'm so pleased with it!
how satisfying was that corner piece! so good to see you finally getting some glass in
I couldn't believe it!
Yay! So satisfying seeing it all come together! You are so patient! 💖
I think I held my breath for the whole video! Lol!
Jb if you don’t have cutting oil to put in glass cutter use white spirit it will save the cutting wheel probably run out everywhere but also make sure glass is clean where you are going to cut, I shouted at you when you did the other cut the other side never do that, also if it doesn’t break the end of the glass cutter where you fill you can gently tap the glass from up under on the score line you will see the glass start to crack on your cut line hope this helps and like someone else said you can nibble off any bit that is left as old glass can be harder with age Good luck with the rest ..
Thanks clive, good tips! I saw someone cutting the backside on a youtube tutorial! Alls well that ends well 😀
When you score the glass tap the back with the cutter along the score line and it should just snap, hope this helps
I'm over the moon for you too. Happy birthday 🎂 🥳
Thanks Tamsin!
Great Job JB 👍I would try get if finished before friday, there' strongs winds in the UK forcast. Steve
Well done that man
Every day’s a school day 👏
Cheers Mark!!
Well done, you can get you own back on Tony and Steve now with all glass in.

Thks again for another great video.john.
Amazing, so happy it is finally working out.
Well done mate, you have impressed me with this, so ordered one as just got a rock solid commercial greenhouse 5m x 3m. Been taking it down and bloody broken few bits of glass.
Good luck!
Well done JB, you can get your own back on the guys on Monday night 😂🎉
hahahaha yes definitely!
Every day's a school day and you've just come top of the class in glass cutting and optimism 10/10 ⭐
😁
hahaha thank you Carol!!
WOW, you should be super proud
And I love your attitude - let’s give it a go and enjoy the process
I can’t wait to see it finish 😅
OMG JB, I’m just getting this vid now & it is genuinely thrilling 😱🙌🏻🥳 It’s just SOOO satisfying seeing it pop 😂 You must have been thrilled!!
I live for that pop! I have some panes left over that I could just pop and pop for the smiles 😆😆
100% satisfaction guaranteed 👌🏻😂
Good to see it going well for you, keep the videos coming lol
Thanks! Will do!
So thrilled for you . I knew you’d sort it.👏🏼🤗👍
Well done JB, its another step closer to being completed! I hope you had a great birthday 🎂 🥳
Thank you Tanya! It was wonderful! We spent lots of time on the greenhouse 😉
Congratulations JB. 🍾🎊🎊🎊
I'm really impressed with your glass cutting skills. Cutting goes much more difficult for me. I probably brake every second pane. I just lucky to have lots of spare material.
I just made sure to use one score with as much pressure as I could manage! Maybe it's your cutter?
@@JBNat or maybe person holding it 😃
Looks good JB!
😁You've done a cracking job
Well done 😁. So chuffed for you after all the hard work you've done 🙌
😀😀 Thank you! It has been trying at times!
Should always clean the glass before scoring. Helps to ensure an even scoring and stop the crack running off.
Totally agree, I learned that after the first cut! Should have mentioned it in the video!
Nice one JB, you were due a bit of luck 😍
Good job sir and what better way to spend your birthday than at the allotment.
My thoughts exactly!
Happy future birthday!
Another great video J.B.! I am glad your camera was acting up as I was super stressed when you cut the glass. lol Do you have a door for the greenhouse yet?
The door is on!
Tony will be so proud of you!!!!😂 well done it’s looking really good!!!
He'll just be sad it didn't go wrong so he could mock me 😂
Yaaaaaas JB 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
😃😃😃😃
JB its nothing to do with bamboo cane the reason it didn't break in a straight line on the first time was the piece of wood you used did not go the full length of the glass , glass cutting is a tricky job but well done than we all get there in the end take care
Great point!
One of those classic "It's going to be too much effort and work" turning into a "oh, that's a lot easier than I thought" moments 😂😀
Magical, rare, sublime! I wish I had more of those moments in life..
Oh that must have been so satisfying - I bet you dream of getting just the right 'click'! Great that you managed to get hold of some free glass - it's all going to be so worth it!
The pops were so wonderful!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
🙌
Ah, brilliant well done JB 👍👍👍
Congratulations with the glass cutting! What's the make of the glass cutter?
Thank you!! I popped a link in the description of the video 😀
At last 👍
The glass needs to be clean allso
👍👍👍👍👍👍😉😎
It needs oil or it will knackered it
🎉🥳🇨🇦
This one wasn't so painful hopefully!
You need to get more positive about everything you do. Go with the attitude that I can do it. Good job JB,
I try Claudia!!
The strain is too much……..bit of paper…draw measured diagram of all 6 faces, roll of electrical tape + waterproof pen….number the panes. Then number their placement on the diagram
Glass is a liquid.Practice on the broken bits. One pass pulling towards you and get the angle of the cutter the same once you have perfected the angle. You could always put a bit of enviromesh in the small gaps .
Please wear gloves when handling glass 🙏
