Great hunt. I appreciate your patience willingness to get as close as possible before shooting. Too many bear hunting videos have guys blasting away at 750 yards. Well done. No worries about not recording the shot, you had a lot going at that moment.
Awesome video- I’m excited to see your videos after your hunts. You always put a lot of time, care and effort in your hunts. You go into areas where many would not take the time or effort to go. 18 miles hiking into the mountains with no help other than your father. You both amaze me in what lengths you are willing to go through to get your animals. Keep doing the amazing job you do!
Great father, son Hunt! Looking forward to making more memories in the Mountains with my sons! dad.
Another great video Adam, looking forward to many more.
Awesome video!
Nicely earned bear, you could hear the impact of the first shot. Well done, hopefully i get lucky there in a couple of weeks.
I hope so too! Good luck. You’ll have to let me know how you did. I’m editing a couple films from this spring now. We got 2 bear on this trip. Hoping to post sometime in June on the channel! Thanks for watching
Sweet! Thanks for making!
Adam, Another great video! Lots of planning, determination and well executed hunting skills coupled with quality time with your dad. Your practical use and display of X-Hunt as an Intigral part of your videos helps all viewers understand the pursuit and the real work that is involved. I am always looking forward to the next one! Good Job!
Thanks for the nice comment Dave. I have really enjoyed being about to share these hunts with family and friends through the videos! Dad has an archery elk tag in Idaho this fall and a rifle elk hunt in Wyoming. With any luck he should be the star of the next video! I’m looking forward to helping him pack out his first bull! 🤞🏼Then I have my whitetail season and a elk/mule deer combo tag in Montana! This fall should be a blast!
Another epic adventure 🏔You guys definitely earned this one! Really enjoyed the video, great job editing. Nice work, looking forward to the next one!!
Great Watch! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for this fall
Epic Video!!! Bear Hunting is now on my list of a MUST DO!! Keep this kind of material coming!!
Your welcome to tag along anytime 😉
Incredible!! So fun to watch!
Love this!!
Another Awesome video! Well done!
Great video!!
Awesome video, well done and great story!
Well done!!! Looked like one heck of a workout.
Awesome film!
Man what an adventure and a beautiful bear! I was able to do that same pulling a frozen stuff bear out of the creek thing last year myself. At least you know the meat stayed cool that way.
So awesome that you are able to do hunts like this with your father too. Congrats and keep it up! Great video
Thank you! Just watched the hunt I believe you were talking about with your bear in the creek.
Love the video!
Awesome content. All of the small details you mention throughout make me feel like I'm there doing it. Keep it up!
Thanks Justin. Appreciate the comment!
Awesome video! Won't be long and the girls will probably be hunting with you too! I really admire you guys' stamina and determination! Great job!
Hard core to the max ! Congratulations on a nice bear
Cool to see how many subs you've gained. You continue to bring the content with these awesome hunts!!! Keep up the great work man you're doing great things!!!
Thanks Matt, I really appreciate that. I’m working on editing up a new elk bow hunt right now! Super excited to put this one out but it won’t be ready for awhile…… since I’m spending most of my free time in the woods right now 🙂
@@heavyhunts heck yea can't wait for it. And I hear that I'm doing the same as well! Good luck man!
Awesome hunt!
Another great hunt and video to go with it. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Bill. I really appreciate the support and comments!
Great video.
nice bear congratulaions
Awesome video
Beautiful bear! I'm looking forward to chasing them this spring with my dad as well. Wont be 18 miles from the truck though!! You guys are animals!
Thanks for the comment. We are actually going back to that area again this spring. Bought an ATV on tracks this time though! Hoping to make a video of that hunt also. Good luck to you and your dad this spring!
Congratulations Guys!!! You wont soon forget that hunt!!!
Thanks, you’re right about that!
Love the channel and all the content. new sub. Should have some content of my first bear coming soon. Trying to get better at filming while I hunt. Glad to see that someone of your filming capability does the same stuff I do (leaving sd cards out of cameras, not hitting record, etc) I am a Mini-mountain backcountry hunter here on the east coast in the Appalachains. Gotta love having wild places in this country no matter where you live! Thanks for the content. I'll be following along.
Thanks for the comment! Really appreciate the support. I’ll have to keep an eye out for your bear hunt. The public land we have to share in this country is truly amazing (even if it does get crowded at times). I’m hoping to drop an elk hunt the weekend if Jan 14 and a mule deer hunt in late January. Thanks for subscribing and good luck on your hunts!
Looks like an epic hunt!
Thanks for watching! Going back this spring for round 2!
Awesome
Cool 😎
Dude! don't even sweat the missed video! The shear endurance to hike 15 miles...then hike so far to stalk that bear. Who cares. I was on the edge of my seat through the entire stalk! Dont even care you didnt catch the kill shot. Awesome job man!
Thanks Andrew! Really appreciate the comment!
Been super cool to find this channel! You have great videos and you and your dad are beasts! The quality is super good too on all your videos. What camera setup do you use to film all your hunts?
Thank you! The main camera is a Sony A7sIII with a Tamron 28-200 f/2.8 lens. My long rang filming is done through a vortex spotting scope and phone scope adapter! I also do some filming with a GoPro and iPhone on occasion.
Can't be too hard on yourself with the camera situation; it's a lot to manage and the video is still fantastic. Great work!
Thanks Eric. Appreciate the comment! It was just frustrating because the bear was in the frame and I just forgot to do the easiest thing….. hit record! 🤦🏻♂️ Thanks for watching!
Great hunt! Did you try howling after finding the wolf tracks your first morning? With tracks that fresh I've had great luck relocating them with howls.
Hey Tim, no we didn’t try any predator calling. I’m not sure why we didn’t. We followed those tracks for a long ways and had fresh poop so I know they were close. I think I was just focused on bear and trying to get to our location. In the back of my mind the wolf tag was just in case we ran into one. But I will definitely try calling if we go back next year. I didn’t bring any calls. Do you howl with your own voice, e-caller, or other calls?
What spotter are you running in the video? Awesome video big fan of the channel!
Vortex viper HD 20-60x85.
You rolled and rolled and rolled him some more
Just curious, do you always fill your tags before your Dad gets to shoot something? When I took my dad hunting, I made sure that he always got the first shot. Now that he's gone, I think back about the last few years, we went hunting together, and it warms my heart now, whenever my son takes me hunting.
No not always. I’m actually editing a spring bear hunt from this year where I made sure he got first crack because I filled my tag last year. Also check out the elk hunt on my channel from last fall called 9 Septembers. I took off work for 2 weeks without a tag to help my father fill his elk tag! It just depends on who has the tags and the situation of the hunt. Thanks for watching!
Did you happen to run in to Ryan Lampers?
Haha nope not on this one…. Maybe someday!
I daho spring bears are not fit to eat..lot of times they eat winter killed elk...bears full of worms...fall bears on fruit are ok..

Hunting is one thing, needing to display the animal you have killed from a very safe distance, as if it's a worthless looking rug, well that indicates an ego, and the need to impress others. Something lacking in the male esteem maybe.
Awesome video!
