I just completed a very similar low buck version of a deadbolt hybrid with wraith metal portals axles, wraith 2 speed transmission with scx10 chassis rails.
As with yours, biggest issue was with inner links and driveshaft.
Has a no name 1500KV 4 pole and esc combo.
Every thing bought off Amazon and leftover Axial stuff, i have maybe 350 can$ in it.
It's pretty much done now and i like it a lot! It wears the OG orange Deadbolt body and looks wicked!!!

Cool build man . I'm Workin on my first sorta custom build nothing just bolts together lol. that's frustrating but exciting .I started with a scx10 chassis . Dropped in a xtraspeed 2 speed transmission. Puttiing in so 130mm shocks also portal axles .every thing is either carbon fiber or alloy .. body choice is a Toyota hard body ..may not run that body lol to nice ..and finally my electrics I have laying around hobby wing 3300kv think that may be to much. Oh yeah it has a monster truck conversion kit and losi lmt wheels .
Chevy body for the win!! Gives it a little more length for the wheel wells… but that’s my opinion.. “misfit” as a name?

Other name options are Bor, Thor's father, Odin, grandfather or Loki, the god of mischief which is my favorite
Loki is awesome but it would have to be something smaller for that. Since I have Mjölnir Thor just kinda fits with this thing. Same chassis same trans (so far) but bigger

Well I have Mjölnir, this is similar but bigger. I’m thinking Thor. I REALLY want Thanos but don’t want a purple truck. 😀
@@ExocagedRC Thanos does work this truck has a bit of every other truck on it like the infinity stones. You could paint it gold with alittle purple.

3d print a body with ABS use a paintbrush and acetone with your supports melted into it to layer up the inside and anneal all the layers together I did this on my trx6 its been super strong if you crack it you can just melt it back together with the acetone paste

I haven’t done anything custom in a while. Plus this has been on my mind ever since I first drove the ryft with the portals.
