    Niiiiiice! I think some front/rear overdrive/underdrive would solve the slight amount of jacking you still have.
    I see Vanquish has underdrive Ryft ring & pinion gears now. Slap a set of those in the back and that might make the difference!

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  Před 2 lety

      Yeah I saw those too. With the portal drives that OD amount is about half what it’s supposed to be. I’m hoping Arthur will make OD portal gears like the Capra has.

    I switched my rear steer to my channel 5 on my receiver so I have complete independent control on my transmitter of the rear steering. Makes crawling alot easier but harder to hold the controller. Give it a try, you don't have to worry about switching steering modes and just give some much more control and precision

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  Před 2 lety

      I’ve done that. The only reason I have to hold a bit to adjust is because I have the dig on the button that usually does the crab/4ws function. I like the mixed driving better. Plus driving one handed kinda limits me in some ways with a lot of features.

    Are you planning on putting sway bars on this build? Of course it could help with the torque twist you tried minimizing with the slash shocks but Id think when you put the "sport" setup in as you say that the sway bars would become a bit more necessary. Love to hear your take

      @@ExocagedRC hi there. you really need to try the desert lizard shocks. the internal spring set up produces an effect that is unique. basically you get increased travel but decreased 'looseness' 100% elimination of twist jacking. i was a skeptic, tried them, for an advance crawler build wouldn't go without them now.
