It looks really good. I especially love the lighting added that make the areas feel more alive.
Hawelo92 IKR! For a 3DS game it actually looks reeeeaall good!
I HATE YOU! YOU ALWAYS EAT MY FOOD IN NEKO ATSUME
and the music is amazing
Hawelo92 The colours do it for me, everything just looks so vibrant and alive
Eh, the original seems quite a bit more animated and expressive to me. Not to say that the remaster looks bad, but there's just something that the original GBA sprites had that can't be replaced tbh.
I get what you mean. The remake looks great and sounds great and will probably have better controls to make things easier, but there just is something about the old sprites that have more charm, not that the remake is lacking charm, just it doesn't remember to have as much. Also they changed the koopas for some reason. It doesn't really bother me, it's just confusing. The remake will still be great and I plan on buying it
more animated with less frames of animations... makes sense
Jake Smith o like the new ones better sure they don't have the those big head moments from the original but I like it more that way not to mention the stellar lighting with the remake but that's my opinion
MrGuy He means to say more cartoony which I can see the Mario and Luigi can seem like clay models and lack the cartoons bounce of squash and stretch. Which are classic animation techniques but he didn't word them the best way.
Jake Smith what no it doesn't lol I think you're just being a little bitch
yes, the 3ds version obviously would look better, especially the bowser sprite, but the overall expressions and the cartoony faces the characters made in the gba are basically gone which sucks
Yeah, Bowser (and Toadsworth) looked so weird in the original game due to the graphics' limits.
@@kazoorion7993 how is hardware excuse for spritework? they could easily just use bis sprite in gba game
Bowser is more small than 3DS in OG
Original looks way better!!! I miss when the games looked like that wow... how far gond
For sure. Nothing beats the original 2D graphics. Has a certain charm to it
Ummm.... why are the Koopas in the cruiser just regular Koopas in the remake?
Kazoorion because they are cuter
Because Nintendo fucked.up and don't care about what made there older titles special. Look at paper Mario for example....
Kazoorion
idk, laziness?
Real reason:Miyamoto anyway most of the enemies are like the original game
NIneDJcali At least we still have the Beanish people. I wish Bowser's minions weren't all generic, but we have more than just Toads as NPCs at least!
My childhood!!! The remixes are incredible!!!
TripleJump ...I'm surprised. This is what bothered me not the art style.
We already saw the art style at E3 so I don't get why the furore has only begun now.
i don't know the old one has definitively a charm the new one don't have but yes it sound good.
not childhood for me , I played this at 26
6:10 It's nice to see the little details, like how the way that waterfall is animated really does look like an HD version of the original.
I definitely think I prefer the older graphics just because the sprites seem a lot sillier and more expressive, and the colors just seem to pop a lot more. I like the softer colors in areas such as the backgrounds and the vibrancy of the character sprites over top of them. The newer one definitely does have some nice touches though with the lighting for example and the empty space not being a stark black, which I appreciate. The characters seem to blend in better to the background, which in some ways its nice but I prefer the vibrancy and definition they had from the background more myself. It's really a matter of preference though, I think both will be good options if you want to experience the game.
I love the lighting in the remake. I wouldn't mind an SMRPG remake with this artstyle
If there's a remake of it I would really want a one that still uses the sprites but keeps the feel of it: Sorta like hd super mario rpg. But's that's asking way too much honestly.
I feel even the original graphics would look amazing with a 3D effect.
SMRPG EXIST.
😅 welcome in 2023
your wish has been granted
Was anyone else hoping Fawful would have his voice bit from Bowser's Inside Story in this one? I know he didn't have it in the original but it would of been nice.
Tepig Ninja MORE!
MORE!
Yup, I was thinking the same.
Yatharth Wazir
YAY!
In gamexplain fashion...
it really would have BEAN nice.
Andre would be proud I know it!
The water looks so realistic
jesus96 for 3DS standards
It really stood out to me too, it looks so nice. I dont know about it looking realistic though.
It’s sunshine all over again!
Personally, i think a hand drawn art style (like rayman or wonderboy) would work better with these games than the dream team one.
YES.
But in the 3ds would have looked kinda messy with that maybe if there was a switch M&L
Hopefully, since the 3ds is nearing the end of its lifespan, Alphadream can use a new engine and sprites for the next Mario & Luigi on the switch. We've had the same sprites for 3 games in a row, I think it's long overdue for a change.
No I think this game uses new sprites from past Mario and Luigi games on the 3DS or it's just graphically improved I don't k ow
While new sprites have been made for cutscenes and the Bros. attacks, it’s still the same base sprites we had from Dream Team.
The 3ds has atleast 3 more years
They want to support the 3DS past 2018, I’m not entirely sure if that’s true though, so don’t take my word for it.
They're probably going to support the 3DS for at least another 2 years seen as we're still getting remakes of games such as Luigi's Mansion on it when it's late 2018. So I assume 3DS support could carry on in to 2020
The new version has the better sound, 110%, but the original Mario & Luigi had more charming and popping visuals. Still gonna snag it because it's Mario & Luigi SS, one of the best games in the Mario RPG family
Yeah I gotta disagree hard with the original having better visuals.
...
Nostalgia blind
I like the original more, since it had a more "unique" style imo. Glad this game got a remake though, it's a favourite of mine, looking forward to play it.
You know this is going to be a great game when most of the complaints are just small nitpicks.
Graphical and animation nitpicks that cause people to hate this game for some reason.
Then I guess it's going to be a terrible game if there's no complains.
Replacing the fight suit koopas with generic koopas. And replacing all the unique toad characters (including various men, children and women toads) with generic toads isn't a nitpick. It's an ongoing issue that's hurt the Paper Mario series as well.
Both versions look great. Original looks more cartoony and charming, while the newer one looks more visually impressive and polished. I seriously hope that nostalgia-blind fanboys don't boycott or raise all hell against the remake just because it looks different (newsflash- it's a remake, of course it's going to look different)
Yeah, looks more just to be a style shift. For vibrant, cartoony but simplistic graphics, the original is the way to go. But for detailed, flowy but subdued graphics, get the remake.
Motherfan1997 too late my dude
Nah, nostalgia is just an excuse used by idiots who doesn't know how to argument and just call you "nostalgicccccccccccccc blain fanboiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii xdddddddddd" for no reason.
I am still looking forward for the remake, though. I just hope they don't nerf the Mush Badge (this is just a little nitpick mine)
Gameboy224 Eep. Even without the Mush Badge, Superstar Saga is too easy in my opinion.
The problem is that the 3ds remake graphics look generic and boring compared to the 2d sprites of the original
I love the part with Mario's fast, short jumping in an attempt to get Toad's attention (with that classic sound effect).
Reminds me so much of Super Mario RPG. =')
I am loving their direction in looks amd use of lighting. But for me personally, I prefer the original style, sound effects, the charm and the texts noises. Other than that, really looking forward to remake seeing what they can really do
I hate how the characters are normalized now like how they replaced the guys on the ship with regular koopas. That's one of the things people hate about paper Mario nowadays. But the backgrounds in the new one are great.
Say what you want, but old Bowser looked awful. Like he ate too much lard or some shit, I dunno.
Adam K
I know right!?!???
you haven't seen bowser from dream team then xdddd
Chacu34 why? He looks great in Dream Team
I gotta agree. He's fat and red eyed in the first game. The other games are more consistent. He has the signature M&L black eyes and is less chubby than he original. :D Your comment made me laugh!
Adam K just think about the graphical limitation and the only game they have to go off of was Mario 64 and Mario rpg. Not dissing your opinion but just pointing it out
They've definitely outdone themselves with this remaster! Obviously the old sprites, sound effects, and facial expressions are nostalgic af But luckily I own both the game on Gameboy and virtual console. I really couldn't stand how Mario and Luigi looked for Dream Team so this is a slight improvement on their sprites.
Certainly a mixed bag, but hey, the most important thing is that Bowser doesn't look fugly anymore. I'd take less over-the-top intro toads any day if I don't have to look at GBA Bowser.
Improvement is HUGE, the 60 fps is great, the game is a MASTERPIECE! Can't wait!
Yeeeeaaaahhhh, naked Mario is still there!
Dragorosso95 And they made him lose a lot of weight this time!
For the ladies.
Dragorosso95 I'm sure glad he has a towel around his waist to cover his privates!
I knew there's gonna be people complaining about the graphics. To me it feels reminiscent to Super Mario RPG.
RetroReploid That's some constructive criticism you got there
No, they're complaining because of the redesign of some of the characters/enemies (regular Koopas instead of the unique designed Koopas in the cruiser is an example)
Whatever makes you feel better.
Maybe those but some comments does have issues about the graphics as a whole. Me I think both games look good in there own right.
Honestly, that's the vibe i'm getting visually as well.
I think both games do fantastically in their respective styles, the original goes for a cartoon-y, almost cel shaded kind of look while the remeake looks like you tried to make everything photorealistic while still keeping the charm of the original. Looks great either way
4:03: At least Luigi's eye still bug out when he's looking through the binoculars. I always found that amusing.
That circle pad animation is very satisfying.
The 3DS graphics remind me of SM RPG. Wish this was on Switch
ss: more *cartoony*
ss+bm: more *cinematic* less cartoony
Overall, this looks & sounds absolutely amazing.
Little touches I miss such as the over the top expressions & for some reason, no music playing after Mario & Luigi crashed in Stardust Fields. But its nice to see some other little touches come in with the updated models, like the Bros' fighting poses & the 1st boss wobbling as he flies, not to mention the lighting in the Koopaship.
Nintendo's been a stickler for staying on model in recent years & while I miss the old models, I feel its not gonna be too terrible seeing as everything else looks nearly identical but better.
Can't wait to play!
1:48 Does anyone else notice the Hammer on the wall in the GBA Version? If Mario took it when he left then that would have solved so much trouble early game.
This is what i was looking for. I wanted to seee if the gba is different from the 3ds version because i only have the gba version
A bit sad that the koopas on the ship aren't wearing their pilot stuff.
One of my all-time favorite games and they did an amazing job recreating it. I have a few minor complaints (mostly about the new bros moves speed and removal of hard mode) but other than that I can't wait to get the game myself.
Nice synchronizing. 11/10
I find it hilarious how Superstar Saga is the most beloved by fans, yet when people get a remake of it that happens to have only a FEW real changes, people lost their shit.
CloudySkies17695 oh that's just internet Nintendo fans the remake is just fine
Im pretty sure changing the art style is a massive deal
I think you need to see every footage of this game before reaching to forced conclutions.
CloudySkies17695 its missing so much. expressive text boxes, smoother transitions, the art style, some areas now lack good music in favour of... silence. which is not the point of the game. its just much less goofy and fun than before.
Gokuvsnaruto22 it is a massive deal. I wish it was more bright and cartoony, but this is acceptable imo.
I am extremely pleased with how the remake looks. I love Superstar Saga to death and while I do have a couple nitpicks, overall the 3DS version is very faithful to the original. Bowser looks fantastic, I love how Mario and Luigi's animations were faithfully recreated, and it's awesome to hear that Cackletta and Fawful kept their old voice clips, not to mention the soundtrack. This is a must buy for me!
Oh my god, I seriously can't wait for this game. It's gonna be awesome playing through Superstar Saga on the 3DS X3
I just saw Mario's builder hard hat from Mario Maker in his house. I love the references!
Hmm, a few areas look better in the original than the remaster but overall it's definitely an improvement. The expressiveness is all still there but it just seems like the 3DS version pulled back the camera a bit and shrunk a few of the sprites so they are a bit harder to look for, on top of not having those thick black outlines that help the sprites read a bit more. But things like the bowser sprite, the couple extra frames of animation given to every sprite, the backgrounds, and the little touches of light sources makes the characters and world feel a bit more lived in and natural even when the game is paused.
5:23 oh, yes! It looks amazing in the remaster. This game will definitely be worth playing on the 3DS aswell
Oh my god, the music improvement is just crazy! This choire singing made this listen incerdibly epic! Im definetliy get this to listen to the music! And to played Superstar Saga for one time! ^^
Mind numbingly beautiful overhaul!
At least bowser doesn't look... weird... I like how music sounds too. Really compliments the original
They changed the Koopas...
And?
The unique design was one of the reasons people loved Superstar Saga
Kazoorion
The "unique designs" are overated, in my opinion.
I like 'em, but they ain't mandatory for my overap overall enjoyment.
The Koopas not having helmets, for example, mean jackshit to me.
As long as the Beanish-exclusive creatures are still around, I'm golden.
It's just one of a few small changes though. They could've just scrapped the bean bean guys and made them toads or something i dunno. They remade the koopa designs so new people that play it will recognize the koopa from the recent Mario games. But they kept everything else because they were original characters. At least they respect SS's originalities. I'm sick and tired of people shitting on this game because "OOHHHH THEY DIDNT KEEP THIS SPRITE OF MARIO ITS RUINNEEDD I LOVED THAT FACE OHHHHHH THIS GAME LOOKS GARBAGE," like fucking get over it. It's a fucking game that didn't even HAVE to exist, but because Alphadream actually cares about their past games (unlike *cough* Intelligent Systems *cough* ) they decided to remake the game for old and new players with much smoother graphics and animations. If you don't like the graphics or the new sprites, grow the fuck up, stop going to videos just to talk about how "the graphics suck and the koopas are ruined" and play something else. Let the adults who actually understand the design change and move on (even if we don't like the koopa designs) enjoy these videos
The Batman Nice way of losing your credibility. way to go.
I just had a thought on oddesy! What if the moon is one of those secret worlds that you can go to if you finish the game or get all the moons you go there because the narrator did say that something special could happen
I can't get over how spectacular the lighting is in this game. Some epic levels of Nintendo polish right there.
I really can’t wait to get the game because it’s a freakin awesome game
6:11 The door doesn't look like a mouth with a moustache anymore.
I know I'm nitpicking, but there so many little details that could easily been fixed and they missed.
Tolstar doesn't have a cane anymore at 6:50, and a lot of the expressions were toned down.
I already complained about everything before, but... hey! Thet didn't changed as much as we expected from the E3 reveal.
The door doesn't look like a mouth with a mustache anymore!? How does the old one look like a mouth with a mustache?
there are minor changes here and there, but they were obviously not simply overssen but updated. i never even realised the carpet in peaches castle was supposed to show mushwooms until now, but the very decent arrows pointing towards her are gone.
The house looks different, but look inside marios home! he now has the wii wheel (which he just put onto a cart in the original MK Wii Trailers, and even a golden cup trophy on his shelf :D
moustache? Where? I don't see it. You're nitpicking literal nothing
Szabolcs Gangl it’s at the top of the entrance
for me the new one looks like mouth with a moustache wtf the old one doesnt
4:44 oh god where do I even START with fawful’s speech patterns?
I still like the fact that the voice samples from the original are still there(especially Cackletta and Fawful's laugh + Mario singing in the shower).
Honestly, I'm not sure which I like more. The original is so bold and expressive
While the update has awesome lighting and effects. But something just feels... Missing
i like gba's intro more tbh
This is the first gba game ive ever played, its gonna come out near my bday too! What a present!
Aside from a few nitpicks here and there this looks absolutely amazing! Can't wait to play this in HD
The original looks more expressive, colorful, and unique
Only "expressive".
Pik3rob nope, the remake is more fluid and colorful, the original have only more charm
Francesco Bertini The remake isn't more colorful, it's got shading though. The original has a better color scheme though imo
Man, shifting between two screens is tiring. Sometimes I wish I had two eyes so I can look at both of them at the same time.
wait.....
On Christmas I'm gonna get partners in time, paper jam, and this game So excited:D!
we are ever so close to the sounds of the bean bean castle music
A Mother 3 remake would be the greatest surprise Nintendo would give us.
And be hated by the fans.
Nah, not really.
I love how bowser looks in the remake such a towering beast 💕💕💕💕
ikr I always hated how in the original his height was inconsistent. outside of battle he was not much bigger than mario but in battle he was huge. then the box they put bowser in before literally dropping him off at his castle, he was bigger than queen bean
I like how cartoony the old sprites look. It's like watching the cover art of these games come to life. The new sprites in my opinion look a little too polished for my liking. The sprites in bowser's inside story were perfect.
The backgrounds though are amazing!
A brand new journey!
Huh, I actually prefer the original soundtrack better, but that's probably just because I'm a chiptune fan. Thew remixes sound too generic.
Is it just me, or is the resistance to change REALLY strong with the Nintendo fanbase these days? Like, 99% of this comments section is basically saying this remake is an insult to the original.
And it's not just for this game, either. It feels like ALL upcoming Nintendo games to be released within the next few months are being treated like absolute garbage. This, US/UM, FE Warriors, Xenoblade 2, and even Odyssey for some.
ShycoWar it's too much hate, maybe this start with Wii U
Well, US/UM kinda has sense since Sun and Moon came out half in a year. As for the rest of the games, I don't see anyone hating.
PS: Did you even see this comment section? Because most of these people are looking forward this game.
No, I think you're just overexaggerating.
Welcome to the nostalgic pandering.
Not half a year. A full year. The same delay between Diamond/Pearl and Platinum, the latter being an enhanced version of the former. And I didn't hear any complaining back then.
And to answer your PS, I'm sorry, but aside from a few positive comments, all I see are people saying how bad or soulless it looks, how the original graphics were better, or how it's dumb that the Koopas aren't wearing pilot caps.
Can't wait to play through this again, only this time, I'll be sure to beat it! (I was only a kid at the time I had the original, so I never beaten a lot of the games I had when I was really young.)
Currently playing this game for the first time on the 3DS and gotta say it looks great. It def kept the spirit of the original. But something about the gba version is just more appealing. The over the top cartooniness just feels right.
Kinda like the older graphics haha
Thank god they labeled which one was which unlike that ridiculous Metroid comparison, I could barely tell which one was which...
the updated graphics look good but in battle it makes some enemy attacks a bit harder to dodge or counter because some attacks come from certain angels or at times blend in too well with the background
I'm super excited for this game. I'm only 14 so I was only a few months older then this game. Never played it but heard great thing. I can't wait to play this
They really couldn't update this engine? It's not bad, in fact I like it, but I feel like I'm just playing Dream Team. (Now for a third time since we got paper Jam and now this.
Gameboy224 I get where your are coming from. The game does look great, but I can only take so much of different games looking identical.
Monte What would an updated engine even look like?
Something that bothers me even more then this engine is the fact they're reusing Dream Team's text sounds AGAIN. The first three Mario and Luigi had their own text sounds.
Josh Legacy I'm not sure actually you got me there. I just feel it's playing dream team again. It's like Pokémon too, gen 6 and 7 look very similar and my hype for 7 kinda just died
Well, what do you want them to do? Using the most current engine makes sense to me. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Why is everyone hating on the remaster it looks great and the art style is great. There are so much more animation. Sure they both have strengths and weaknesses but in they end they're both great
Trolley Track because the new graphics look awful and cheap. Kinda like mobile tier 3D garbage. Whereas the GBA version had lovely crafted spritework with charisma and expression.
Yes, but that's your opinion, and they have their own. It's not always hate, sometimes it's just preference.
pld I really like them they look a lot like dream team and that's one of my favorite games of all time
Anti Riku you're right I should look at both sides of the coin instead of just one
Yeah, that's always the best thing to do. A lot of people just like to think that criticism is the same thing as hatred, when that's not always the case. They might just legitimately prefer the old one. Also, I have to give you props for your response. Someone saying that the other guy is right, isn't something that happens a lot.
I remember playing this game when I was a kid. This sure brings back memories.
I hope I'm not the only one that thought that the Goodwill Ambassador's smile was the little line above his actual smile this whole time...like seriously, I just now realized that.
what the hell! the took out all of the original looking characters and replaced them with generics too?! man screw this!
I'm not sure how I feel about the remake. Based on what I've seen from this video, I feel like the remake has subdued some of the really fun and wacky moments from the original. Still, at least this means that a lot of folks who never got to play Superstar Saga before will be able to enjoy it now.
brings back so many memeories
This is awesome DO BOWSER'S INSIDE STORY NEXT!!!
Peach's dress doesn't flow when she's attacked by gas
The Koopas aren't wearing gear
The claw doesn't look as cool
Clearly this remake will suck.
I'm being sarcastic.
The sad part is that some people hate this game because of it.
SacredYinZekrom It's still a good game despite small nitpicks. Like the ones i agree with is that Cackletta's soul looked better in the original and the koopalings are more difficult in the remake.
I hate being early because there's always cringey comments.
There still are.
More like unoriginal comments.
In the remake, you can see the Builder Mario outfit from Mario Maker at 2:10
6:10 That water caught me off guard.... damn
I respect the people who prefer the original but, you can't just say this version is utter garbage just because it isn't the original. That just seems stupid and childish.
GrandMelon This game doesn't look garbage because it isn't the original game. This game looks garbage because the graphics are awful.
pld Well that's your opinion.
Most people here have used just the word better to be fair.
pld In what way? And keep in mind, facial expressions, body movements, and character designs are separate from graphics.
The graphics in the new version seem more blurred, less defined. Look at them side by side and the GBA version was crisp and clear but the new version looks a little blurry. One of my big gripes with the new version is the music. The original was fantastic but they changed things up, especially with the battle music that I've heard. Just too much of a tweak from the original since the original was like perfect. That being said I will probably still pick this up because it is my second favorite Mario RPG, succeeded only by LOTSS
The only thing the original has over the remake are more clear effects (anger steam, fire on turbos) while the remake looks plentiful more amazing with it's beautiful spritework, fluidity, and emotions in posture
Finally a comparison that isn't stretched in some way! XD
You should've showed the border hammer bros, they're a great example of the sacrifice of style the remake made
So not only is the remake very blurry but they've replaced a lot of the characters with regular NSMB ones just like Color Splash.
Yeah, but hey, at least they can't make every NPC as generic Toad and every enemy just like regular NSMB enemies.
....
Replaced a lot...the only change you can see in this video are the Koopa's lacking their outfits.
What do you mean by blurry? The remake looks very sharp and clean. There is no blurr, people just love to pick apart remakes. I played the original and loved it but the remake looks 10x better now than it did 14 years ago. I am picking this game up and enjoying it regardless of what people say. People picked apart Majora's Mask 3D but it turned out to be a fantastic remake and looks great too. I have yet to play a bad remake of an old game.
SonicmaniaVideos Look the other footages, they changed other things like the Toads at the start of the game just being generic Toads and enemies like Troopeas and Boomerang Bros just being regular Koopas and Boomerang Bros with vines.
Detail and quality are obviously improved, but I think this artstyle they got going is damn hideous, animation aside even.
Also holy shit, can miyamoto fuck off with his "no original characters in mario rpgs" rule?
Especially going back and turning characters into generic grunts, is absolutely baffeling
That rule only applied to the new Paper Mario games...
Plus, the fact that they don't even want to give the Koopas outfits like in the original is obviously more a sign of laziness than that "rule" people think is a real thing.
SonicmaniaVideos Right? Nintendo, can you not just copy and paste some goggles on a koopa troopa? EVEN I CAN DO THAT.
SonicmaniaVideos Yeah... fuck Miyamoto and Tanabe for ruining Paper Mario....
This was my first game boy advance game.....definetly getting this day one....the feels.
Good times I'm glad they are bringing it back
The remake looks better(IMO)
Screw the haters, this remake will be amazing.
This
It'll play and sound amazing. There's nothing wrong with it at all. Many people generally dislike remakes and that's fine because, most of the time, the original is better. Usually, censorship, if not other key changes, are what make people dislike remakes.
mightyXtreme who ever said there were haters I don't see any
We're not haters, we're upset that they sucked the soul out of the characters. They replaced the fight suit koopas with generic koopas. And all the unique toad characters (including various men, children and women toads) have been replaced generic toads.
Sprites, text, and sounds for original, general backround and the rest for remake I'd say
Looks nice, really wish i still had my gba and this game
The Koopas not wearing flight suits is clearly Miyamoto's doing, a microcosm of his ever-continuing push to force his Toad supremacist ideologies into the Mario series. Ever since _Paper Mario: Sticker Star (2012)_ , he had been glorifying wealthy male Toads as the "superior" Mushroom Kingdom race by portraying them as always helpful, always friendly, and always with good fashion sense.
Meanwhile, he outright *demonizes* Koopas, Goombas, Bob-ombs, and other non-Toads by portraying them as nothing but mindless, evil sycophants to Bowser, reducing them as mere grunts whose only goal in life is to "beat Mario". Look at how he doesn't depict the Koopas with the proper attire for tending an air vessel, implying that Koopas are lazy and refuse to adhere to proper service dress code requirements. It's racist, insensitive, and problematic to all of my Koopa friends out there, and because of this, I encourage all of you to *boycott* _Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions_ .
But seriously, though. I understand the disappointment over the change, but going all doom-and-gloom "this is Sticker Star all over again" over such a tiny thing is just ridiculous, especially when the remake still retains a majority of the weird stuff from the original game (even the four-legged Dry Bones).
They sacrificed charm for detail.
Medachod The game still looks charming.
*+Adrian Leonce* It looks more detailed, objectively speaking.
Hell, somebody could still consider the 3DS version more charming just because they prefer detail, so I don't even know if that statement holds true or not.
its all subjective at the end of the day
Oh well, at least my comment holds true from a general standpoint.
1:10 Does anyone know what the music is called in the 3DS Version because the choir is a nice touch?
Man!i cannot wait for this!!!not only cause it's still my favorite mario and Luigi but also if this sells very well I hope Nintendo sees that people want mario rpgs and hopefully finally give us an actual paper mario 3!
