LIttle mess up with the arcstrider reload without eddy. That said, I would still take keep aways +32 enhanced reload over it *if* I wanted reload. I don't though, I went with Dragonfly + Volt. It's really good!

@@sQuaTsiFieD i thought there is a general stat bump when you hit a certain level with your crafted weapon,
@@TeamTechSkaters it does, on a crafted weapon with you get to level 20 it gives a stat bump akin to Adept weapons, except for some reason on my Deliverance I felt like it was a percentage base but if have to double check. It just seemed like the stability went up by more than 2, maybe 3 or 4 but I'm probably not remembering it correctly.

Yeah I been noticing some of the raid weapon can double stack into damage or explosions. Just last night I got the King’s Fall scout and it has vorpal and frenzy at the (same time!) and feels amazing with zero recoil. I gotta start raiding more.

RE: eddy current. The reload you show is amplified on hunter, which I believe is the only class that has increased reload as part of an aspect. Base amplified only provides increased handling. I still think Eddy Current needs to be better to be worth the slot.

This needs to be at the top, because the number of people who think being amplified just magically increases reload across the board is staggering.
Since I play Hunter most of the time I just assumed that fast handling along with reload speed was the default. Thanks for the clarity.
Eddy should give handling too imo
I'm pretty sure it increases reload for all classes, hunters just get a faster buff. It always feels faster on my warlock.
Dragonfly and volt is so good + shock and awe for the arc blast on kills while amplified from artifact and you’re triple dipping into aoe damage it’s amazing

It’s because it’s got a few steps in order to proc it. First you gotta get a kill, then next kill gotta be a nade kill, and then you’ll have like 4-5 seconds to proc 2 taps and sometimes there just out of the timer limit
The boosted reload speed with Amplified is actually exclusive to Arcstrider with its Flow State Aspect, not the other Arc subclasses. You probably have to spec into reload speed if you want to activate Voltshot reliably, but may not be the case when the HC buffs arrive in the mid-season update.
EDIT: Doesn’t look like the hand cannon changes are coming this season, but the date is still TBD.
The hand Cannon buffs might not come in the mid-season update because Bungie did say that those numbers aren't final and it seems like that buff will happen next season

The other classes not getting the reload speed on amplify is a huge pet peeve of mine lol.
i took the pve roll in crucible and it was hilariously fun to chain one kill into a mini cloudstrike type collat situation
I also crafted two! My PvP roll is basically an arc version of my timelost Fatebringer with Opening Shot and Explosive Payload. For PvE, I, too, went with Dragonfly and Voltshot. Both are just so much fun to play with.
One of the few guns I crafted 2 of. I love my Keep Away/Explosive Payload in PvP, it’s actually my favorite HC. I also made Dragonfly/Volt Shot and it’s fun in PvE, feels like Sunshot’s sparky little brother!
It looks like a lot of fun but man I’m really in love with my Enhanced Voltshot/Redirection Posterity, especially with that Bray Inheritance Origin Trait.
Interesting I haven’t heard anyone who uses redirection instead of frenzy on posterity.

The Silence & Squall into the Distant Shore "ceiling"....I felt that.
Did you ever review Revision Zero in its finalized state? I really love the gun, but there's so little content about it since everyone did their reactionary reviews and the buzz around it basically disappeared overnight.
Getting up-to-date, PvP-focused information on it is surprisingly difficult now, and I really wish it wasn't.
this was the first pattern I got for the hip-fire grip/offhand strike roll. I love that perk combo on Heritage, and I've been looking for the rapid-fire void sidearm with them since Seraph.
I got that roll on the suros sidearm really early. It's definitely a sleeper pick.

This is literally my go to hand cannon , I crafted the very same roll for PVP and use the very same roll for PVE occasionally. It’s definitely a beast.
I went flawless without aiming down sight using hip fire grip and off hand strike, last word, and lucky pants. Hell of a lot of fun, if somewhat impractical
Love this gun CoolGuy, I have Last Wish weapons from the free chest (I go every week because why not :) ) I have not dropped a new Nations of Beast but I have two old ones I kept. A small Bore + Accurized + Zen Moment + Explosive payload. The other have small bore + steady rounds + opening shot + explosive payload. I am generally a solo player so really RNG dependent but love this HC
One thing I’d like to mention, since zoom is not going to be tied to range going forward, some high range low zoom weapons might get some serious buffs.
An example of this is Monte Carlo. While it’s range is in the middle of the pack, it has a 15 zoom, meaning it’s damage falloff distance is only around 24 meters, but this change might actually benefit it. This with a catalyst could dramatically change this weapon in PvP
same with riskrunner it has 80 range (more than ikelos and same as max range immortal with adept range)
This hand cannon is so fun to use, but sadly it will never come close to my EP/EoTS fatebringer :/

I finally crafted this today and I slapped on opening shot plus explosive payload and my god just from testing and playing around with it I really was impressed with the feel of this hand cannon and it has a very clean look when your lining up your shots. That's the biggest issue I have with most hand cannons it's to clunky and hard to see where I'm lining up my shots, but nation beasts might be a hand cannon I put some time into and it reminds me of palindrome
I would never have guessed it had the lowest AA. It’s always felt so sticky to me. Learn something new every day.
My old one I've had forever had poopoo range but with explosive payload was really fun.
I haven't run last wish in ages, might have to relearn the raid to craft that hand cannon for pve.

Amplified doesn't boost reload speed by itself. It's a part of arc hunter's kit.
I wouldn't go Voltshot because Posterity does a much better job of being a jolt machine. Golden Tricorn, on the other hand, will combine well with the massive boost to major damage next season.
the eddie current thing might just be because its mainly arc hunter being played here and one of the aspects gives a massive boost to reload so it might be useful on the other classes (i wouldnt know i am also hunter main lol)

Interesting with the Last Wish sniper an particular role with Rewind rounds and Kinetic Tremors work well?
It should be noted, if your weapon can have two sources of anti champion such as an effect like jolt, stasis slow, ignition from scorch, combined with a different source like anti champion mods from the season, radiant from the solar kit, etc, the weapon ability buff will be completely overriden.
Weapon effects like jolt are the "lowest priority" on that table of buffs and it's *incredibly* easy to override them

I need to farm Last Wish the next time it is the featured raid, but I don't have the setup to farm the encounter easily for my Hunter
I love my Posterity with Frenzy + Voltshot too much to be bothered with another voltshot arc handcannon, realistically I'd never pick it over Posterity. The only other PvE thing that is slightly tempting for me is Dragonfly + Golden Tricorn to try and get to GT x2's +50% damage buff since arc has an easy time getting ability kills and has good uptime without needing demo/wellspring/pugilist. I'll either craft that or a PvP roll
I hope i can convince my clan to do Last Wish Kalli checkpoint, we are plan to do RoN but we shall see.
Never use HC a lot in pve content, so im excited.
Mind trying out a build i had in mind more recently? Strand, necrotic, and Erianas with high strength with threadling grenades. The rift and grenade aspects. 1 tag from a threadling, necrotic melee, or tangle, all finish off or start of the fight then 1 shot from eriana is needed. With the melee or tangle with 1st glance all u need is 1 body shot, then the poison kills. Im sure youll find a way to improve the build. I paired it with my high albedo side arm.

Just want to add that you don't get reload speed from Amplified. Its the flow state aspect that adds reload speed when you are Amplified. So your whole thing about the reload feeling good with just Amplified only makes sense if you are playing Hunter. The reload buff does not exist on Warlock and Titan.

Just wanted to make a comment related to your last statement in this video. As someone who still really enjoys the game, thank you you for maintaining a non toxic and normal place among Destiny creators. You are right, in that there are a LOT of content creators that create edgy or hot-take videos only to drive views and farm engagement. I understand why they do it, because it makes money and at the end of the day that’s how they make their living, but it only adds to the cesspool of toxicity already surrounding the game and gets SOME of the crazy people worked up and then weird stuff can happen. Thank you for not following the same path, and being above that. I respect the hell out of you for keeping a normal non toxic environment even though… yes I agree there are something’s about the game that need to be addressed in order for it to be a better game for everyone

Would like to try to do Last Wish but I feel like there's no room for entry into lfg groups if you don't have clears. Trying to research the mechanics but I've just been booted after they check my raid tracker for LW (1 clear but it was only a riven cheese). I have over 20 clears of GoS, KF, and 13 VoG, I'm not completely new to raids or using bad loadouts. Can't say I blame them, but I feel like I've been banished to "get the secret chests every reset and cross your fingers for red borders".
You didn't mention dragonfly/explosive payload for pvp, & I'd hoped if anyone would, it would be you lol. I don't know if its bugged or what, but I get so many kills in pvp with firefly/dragonfly or firefly/explosive payload combo weapons. Doom of Chelchis is dumb like that too.

I really want these new craftables, but I just don't know how to farm out a whole raid efficiently enough to justify trying to get five red borders
I just ran Shuro Chi since she's can be cheesed. We grinded for a full day and I had everything by the end of it. It's not difficult, it just takes time.
Kalli farm is incredibly fast and the encounter isn't super complicated, plus it's one of the easier raid challenges so you get double drops. There's a cheese strat, but it's not particularly necessary. (The challenge is just activating all nine plates before DPSing Kalli instead of just the six, and killing the taken ogres that spawn in when you do the wrong ones.)
Honestly for PvE I think the OG fakebringer curated roll is still the best if you have it. Posterity just has a better package for PvE with enhanced frenzy
For as stacked as Nations crafted options are, I do wish it could still roll with zen moment. Zen got such a nice buff and yet they removed it from some reintroduced weapons. I’ve got an old Zen + kill clip roll I still pull out and I think I had my best game of the season with it. Imagine enhanced zen + keep away 😮
Been using this exact weapon and it is a monster in dueling. Shame that it’s public knowledge now this hand cannon is Jesus mode

I have zen moment explosive payload from before it was craftable. Would you use this roll over the craftable one? (also extended barrel, accurized, range MW)
Zen Moment is pretty good on M&K now, if you like the feel of it then I’d hold on to it. Sounds like it has great range too
Honestly I’m going with Fluted Barrel on it, the handling is so terrible without that I feel it’s a must in the smg meta

I love hand cannons, problem is I use controller and everything aside crimson and the last word just feels inferior to ARs, SMGs, and Pulses.
Hell even scouts are giving them a run now. (PvP btw).

5:32 if you look right here in the video; I like perks like keep away and threat detector because if something is sneaking up and on you and you don’t have a radar or they have invisibility,
Say grandmaster nightfall, laggy radar, movement tech when fighting sweats, or momentum control, your weapon can tell you pretty neat stuff.
Even with keep away active, my palindrome had more range and better overall stats. Not really sure on the point of this.
I still really love Destiny and while I understand the criticism and it's flaws, it's still my go-to to hang out with my RL friends and have some fun.

Just a small correction I think. Amplified doesn’t increase reload by itself. The Flow State Aspect on Hunter is what increases reload while Amplified. Warlock and Titan do not get that benefit. Great video though
