Transfiguration had a GLOW UP. It has some of the best kinetic tremor combinations in Destiny 2 and it still does its thing in PvP. Can 2 tap and shut a lobby down in PvP. In this review, I talk about what to look for and why to look for it. It has an excellent pairing origin trait as well.

Gotta say, Transfiguration just looks so nice
Genuinely, the Ahamkara Bone and Awoken Amethyst weapons from Last Wish are the prettiest guns in the game. It feels like a crime to shader them.

@@hjw2029 It's just a shame because the astrological animation on them doesn't shade so it can look a bit derpy. I'll check those out though! Plunder had some great shaders.

I tested the rampage Killclip roll and it was definitely pretty fun. But felt lacking as a standalone scout. It only performed competitively when you prock the 2 perks. So I decided to test another combination focused on performance overall. Went high stability, with keep away and moving target. Have not been disappointed whatsoever. The gun accurately hits headshots at literally any range you'll find in the crucible. A legendary jade rabbit.
Just a heads up. If you want more damage on kinetic tremors, gut shot straight can buff them by ~20%. Keep an eye out for a gutshot+kinetic tremors roll on Randy’s throwing knife
I have the og drop mag rampage kill clip so I’m def going to craft the demo tremors roll for pve. But one that sticks out to me is the range dueling potential of perfect float explosive for solar lock. Lane-ing from random spots in the air sounds nasty
Omg this thing with that OG perk, man I miss those unique mag perks. Drop mag on my handcannon and it’s borderline outlaw for free. I do have your scout roll but I have ass stability so I kinda flinch off of everything

Hot Tip, put the Tex "Carhae Black" shader on the Last Wish weapons. It makes the blue engraving REALLY pop against the frame.
I see your Carhae Black and raise you Seven Sisters. It gives the leyline background a really deep blue AND moving stars.
Worth mentioning. Rewind Rounds explosive payload is a bottomless mag if you hit all your shots. Never have to reload.
I absolutely *love* this gun. I affectionately call it the "funny disjunction rifle," as that's my favourite map to use it on.
got the double damage perk roll back during beyond light and it's hilarious. especially in momentum control where you can 1 tap people

I really do like this thing and plan to use it quite a bit. Another tremor interaction. It has its place in content just like hung jury etc. Also, of course I crafted the two tap roll I've wanted it for 4 years lol
If I recall correctly, Bungie said something about making perks like Kinetic Tremors, Dragonfly, etc. have more interactions with other perks (such as shoot to loot). I wonder if that included Rampage and such perks?

This is how you reprise weapons, this is the best instance they’ve done it for any of the raids imo
I juiced the "feel" stats (handling, stability) with Fluted, Flared Magwell, Stability MW, Keep Away + Moving Target. Gets it reasonably close to 180 Scout feel but with a faster out of the box TTK.
Levelled it during IB control (RIP), people get caught off guard by 150 Scout TTK much like they do when 3 tapped by Hung Jury with Box Breathing.

i got the OG tranfig rampage kill clip role back when Last Wish first launched, loved 2 tapping people in the crucible, went into Last Wish to farm red borders and got another one. honestly one of my fave roles, really love this scout.
Really excited to try out Rampage+Adrenaline Junkie with this thing. Exact same conditions to proc both perks means some ridiculous damage ramping
For almost 3 years off and mostly on the pass at least a year and a 1/2. I was farming the two secret chest every week on all my characters to get the double damage transfiguration and back in february it finally dropped. I almost was in tears.
A little thing for when you do looks into reviewing the bow for pve, if you have Dragonfly and incandescent, you can trigger an ignition with just 1 arrow, as dragonfly kills procs incandescent as well, it's not good good, but it's a fun good
Did my first last wish of the season yesterday. Walked away with 4/5 for transfiguration. I've been waiting for a good 150 craftable scout. Today I'm gonna grab my last 1. Cant wait to craft it.
Pro tip IMO - try flared mag. Gets you that extra critical reload speed when trying to stack KC on rampage

Always loved the look of this weapon, only had the old curated roll so far. Dropped Keep Away/Kinetic tremors a few days ago which is a nice starting point

Still got my OG Rampage/ Kill Clip and a Ambitious/ Auto-Loading for times we’re a Long range hard hitting scout. The gun model is just gorgeous also. These new options are pretty amaze so will be going for some of the newer perk combos when I get all the patterns to craft a custom 👌🏻
Just finished crafting the rest of my Last Wish Weapons last night! They are so good! My Bow is like 15 with Archers Tempo and Incandescent. So good! I used EVERY vanguard engram last season on Strident Whistle trying to get that roll and couldn’t get it, now I have a better Bow with that roll!!
But yeah, these weapons are all great!! Transfiguration is one of my favorites! Several great craftable options!!

I havent been able to complete the full Last Wish again yet, but I sae that Age-Old Bond can get Repulsor Brace+Destabilizing Rounds. That sounds fun.

Yup, you can make the argument Last Wish has the best weapons in the entire game now. Transfiguration, Nation Of Beasts, Apex Predator ofc, even Tyranny Of Heaven are all reborn hard.

Ive had a transfiguration with kill clip since my first pc LW raid, I love going back to it, especially for gambit.
I have a kill clip rampage one I used for gambit invasions for a while. 700 invasion kills with it. The change to not being to see people while ads a few years ago really hurt it in gambit
I absolutely hate that change. It's so disorienting but it was needing so invaders wouldn't be so dominant.
Thanks CoolGuy, I have a Rampage + Kill Clip from a long time ago that I keep up to light for right maps and love it. Still trying for a headseeker chattering bone though. I believe it can get rampage + headseeker, have never dropped one.

The last time I used a Scout in difficult content was cheesing a solo Whisper run using Polaris Lance! I forgot how nice that range can be. Plus, this gun looks awesome.
You know the rng gods are on your side when you got the perfect God roll first drop in the raid without even knowing how good it was. Stayed in my vault for a year, (arrowhead break or polygonal riffling, drop mag, rampage, kill clip, with a stability masterwork) lmao

I have a Rampage Adrenaline Junkie roll, and it's pretty cool to have two kill based perks proc with needing reload. Not as spicy as ramp/kc after 1 kill, but spicy if you get a grenade kill
For sure. With a grenade kill, you only need 1 stack of Rampage to 2-tap, and if you get both stacked up it's +66.6% damage as opposed to Rampage+KC being 58.3%. Think that might let you 2-tap at any resilience if you get it rolling, though with Voidlock weaken you can do that anyways with either roll at lower stacks.
850+ kills in the one week I’ve had it. Rampage/KC is just so so so nice. Paired with a short range weapon of some sort and it’s perfect
The sniper has become my go-to kinetic sniper. Rewind kinetic tremors is just an amazing combo
DSC perk refresh gave us the monster that is Commemoration and all the other weapons are no slouches either. Now Last Wish gear is hella juiced. Working backwards, they might reprise the Garden of Salvation weapons next, which I hope they do and I hope they continue this theme of raid weapons being immensely cracked.

My only transfig I ever had drop before the craftable came about was rampage kill clip. I don't have it crafted yet, but I want to see the damage combo of rampage and adrenaline junkie with a good nade build.
I've had a kill clip, rampage, drop mag one since like my first LW clear years ago
I'm also curious how a Rampage/Adrenaline Junkie combo might play since then you're not having to burn away seconds reloading for Killclip while Rampage is ticking away, making their timers sync up much better.
Though 2-tapping in PvP with this combo isn't as natural since you either need Rampage + Adrenaline x3 or Adrenaline x5 from a grenade kill and Rampage x1 together, so probably more of a PvE thing.
I don't raid so i'm grabbing the bridge and morgeth chests weekly, so I thought a bit about it and I think using my harmonizers on this scout is the play. I get a pve and pvp weapon from one pattern and it has two perks that benefit the most from being enhanced out of any other perk in the game. The Dragonfly Voltshot HC sounds pretty cool but I really don't need it enhanced, I don't need a new rapid fire fusion either because i'm fine with the one from Neumana fully enhanced.

Love this gun. Im gonna be crafting 3. Enhanced Demo/Tremors for PVE. Enhanced Ramp/KClip for six's, and for a pure dueling roll enhanced Keep Away/Moving Target for comp/trials.
I'm curious as to why keep away is your choice

@@chunkyrabbit1032 I don't want to speak for him, but enhanced keep away provides a large increase in accuracy which makes hitting heads much easier (along with the other added benefits). Makes it a lot more forgiving and easy to use when being shot at w flinch

The first time i saw Destiny 2 gameplay was with this gun, I wanted since.
Solo player who doesn't raid never thought I'd get this gun. I used my wish from Mara and got one with kinetic Trevor's yay!!
Is there a way that you can cover the age old bound gun? i heard you can get repulsar brace and destablizing rounds which really sounds good or maybe another roll that might top that
I haven't been able to craft the gun yet, but I still have my old Transfiguration with rampage/kill clip. the stability is only at 32, but I got dropmag so that's something.
Tbh, I got a rampage/kc like two years sgo, never used it, maybe I'll use it this time around and see how it handles before committing to crafting it, I'm still missing 1 pattern tho.

I think you skipped over Rewind/EP. With how Rewind works with Firefly on VoG weapons, so long as each Firefly kills snags multiple ads, you can perpetually never have to reload, because you always hit the max hit cap that'll go towards reloading your magazine (same principle for Rewind on Techeun Force). EP counts as two hits, in an *AoE,* so you shouldn't ever have to reload with that combo.
Thats the roll i crafted and while i kinda miss tremors i just love just laying into targets and never having to reload

@@AutistiCat2406 Technically yes, but EP has 100% uptime, and up front is better when you have overload rounds (such as this season's artifact).
@@AutistiCat2406 it kinda does, especially if you hit other enemies as well, but if you are just hitting 1 target it doesnt always work. It may work better with enhanced tremors and rewind rounds though, but that needs to be tested

imo kintetic tremors will turn into next dark subclass thing and so will all other kinetic weapons!
The next darkness subclass is going to be like the last two, it'll stop you in your tracks for a few seconds helplessly stuck in place for an easy kill
@@CreationsVibration Yeah, I'm not liking the CC direction the game is headed. Gonna run into the OW problem lol. Freeze on abilities lasts too long in PvP, and Suspend is stupid easy to use while also lasting a bit too long. Seriously, how long do people need to secure a kill on a nearly helpless, if not fully, helpless enemy. The abilities are too forgiving.
Coming from a 0.5% comp player.
I know they lack outright kill potential like a tripmine, but YAS is getting nerfed, and countering a trip is so much easier, more limiting (based on surface), easier to avoid/dodge, and destroyable. Suspend isn't even a nade, it's just an outright extra ability lol

You can also build Kinetic Tremors with Demo on the leafy Imperative new 150 scout. I'm thinking because of that redundancy, I might stick with Explosive and Rampage on Transfig. Double damage. Obviously the origin trait has more synergy with Transfig, but what do you think of Transfiguration vs Imperative with the same Tremors-Demo build?

Man the problem is (same with dsc) going back and farming old raids. I’m pretty much a solo player and raid each character a week, but I absolutely can not be bothered to go play old content for new rewards.
I'm a solo player that doesn't do raids. I've never done a raid in D2, yet I have every Last Wish weapon crafted. Farming Kalli can be done with even the most novice players that don't know what they're doing. Ended up getting every pattern for every weapon in one sitting because of how easy it was.
Loading in and out of the activity took longer than killing Kalli 😅

I've tried Rampage+Kill Clip and it's fun when you get to the 3 quick kills with it. But wait a few seconds, if no ennemy shows up it's just wasted. I personnaly prefer the Rapid Hit + Explosive Payload combo for a more long range dueling weapon. If only it still had Zen Moment it would be my absolute favourite scout in the game!

I've always adored this thing but after 8 years of destiny I've yet to raid once. I remember a bunch of clips from beyond light of heat rises warlocks just addicted to this but I don't remember their rolls
I honestly think 150 scouts are the best in the game for PvP, the problem is that there weren't any good ones you could still go and get until this update. Even without the 2-tap build, out of the box they have a faster optimal TTK than any Hand Cannon archetype and a lot more range to boot. I'm hoping we get a craftable one with Enhanced Hip-Fire Grip because it'd give you that authentic Halo: Reach DMR feel. I'd SO pair that with a Vexcalibur in PvP because I've been vibing with Glaives lately in the Crucible on my Titan.
I personally went with enhanced Rapid HIt/Kinetic Tremors. I just hate the slow ass reload for this gun, can't live with it. I know Demo or Rewind would be the better options but I want to get right back to the shooting soon as I run out of ammo.
Make sure you have something like flared magwell or tac mag and a reload masterwork, range and stability are a lot less important for pve

Transfiguration has always been a standout in its class across all game modes. Underrated Gambit invader weapon if you don't have the ammo to burn, exceptional Crucible performance at range, and just plain reliable PvE performance - again, at range. Stay distant, stay dominant.

I'm not a fan of the 150 scouts, but this seems like the best one. I prefer 180s, 200s, and 260s so I probably won't go for this. I do have an older one with rampage + kill clip so if I really want to use that I can.
The best legendary one by far thanks to it's crazy perk pool, definitely creeps into what would be an exotic with it's strength
