For the horse vid for context-
The horse’s hoofs were overgrown so they had to be trimmed. If the hoofs aren’t trimmed regularly, it can cause great discomfort for the horse. So in actuality the horse is very happy that their hooves are being trimmed. And as you can see in the video the horse isn’t kicking or showing signs of discomfort when the hooves were being trimmed.

Just so all of you know horses don’t have nerves in the bottom of their hooves they also need to be cut every 6-8 weeks. It’s completely normally and doesn’t hurt the horse if done by a professional farrier.
So how do they dim down their hooves if they're not domesticated

They wear down, those long hooved ones are usually mistreated and kept inside so they don't wear down naturally. Hooves can even wear out TOO much which causes pain eventually when the hoof gets too short, that's why horse shoes were invented so that doesn't happen.

The truck one has to do with a looping video of that truck almost hitting something but it loops before it does
At 10:50 this clip used to be a gif, where the truck got super close to the pole each time, but right before it hit the pole the camera reset from a different angle. It was annoying because you never got to see what happened to the truck, but this clip gives us closure. That is why it is satisfying.

hey felix, horse hooves are made of keratin, which is also what our hair, fingernails and toenails are made of! so think of hooves like a really, really strong fingernail. horses have to wear horseshoes because standing on rough surfaces like concrete or gravel could damage the natural hooves. horseshoes have to be nailed on to the hooves but it doesn’t hurt them because there are no nerve endings in the hooves, which means they can’t feel it at all.

11:50 I remember when I was like 8 at my cousin's wedding in Spain, it was a lovely church on top of a hill and I remember standing against the railings on the cliff with my teddy bear (I brought it everywhere with me don't @ me) and I spent so long deliberating on whether I should chuck my teddy off the cliff, knowing that I would be distraught. Hi Felix and anyone else who wanted to know haha, horse hooves are basically made of what our fingernails are made of just a lot more of it (obviously lol) so when they get their hooves trimmed it is like when we get our fingernails trimmed and they cant feel it unless it hits a certain point where they start to have nerve endings. However, normally there isn't that much hoof to trim away in a regular session, the horse in the video just had extremely overgrown hooves and was likely neglected or not trimmed for a very long time
