#StarTrek #Characters #AtLarge - Zábava
"Give Jeffrey Combs his own show, give him whatever he wants so he says yes" might be the best line I have ever heard.
It should be literally his own show. Every character is played by him
Star Trek: Combs
where he plays every character!
He is probably one of the few who could pull that off
To show what a good actor that Jeffrey Combs is, Shran is one of my favorite characters of all Star Trek, but I cannot stand Weyoun.
@@williambryant6175 100%
I, too, would love to see Combs get his own show, but I'd much rather it be (and I think it would more LIKELY be) as Shran. A follow up on the formation of the Federation and those earliest years from the Andorian perspective? Hell yes!
Also, just for anyone who didn't know this: not only was the USS Bozeman involved in the Battle of Sector 001, Kelsey Grammer came back to do a single word of audio: "Acknowledged." Probably the quickest but most significant fan service cameo Star Trek has ever had.
Hear me out: Ro Laren and Thomas Riker pop up in the Delta Quadrant because they were searching for the Marquis ship that disappeared with Voyager in season 1 episode 1. The crew of Prodigy "save" them from a Kazon attack only to have them battle to take over their own ship.
It might be a long shot, but I can totally see this happening.
Thomas Riker should be around somewhere! You could have him find Kira or Ro.
The only continuation of Thomas's story that I want is Will and Deanna saving his son Joshua.
@@shanerasmussen5225 Thomas has a son? That must have come up from a book.
@@irregularassassin6380 From Star Trek Online actually, and he got retconned out a while back, but I want him to be brought back, and he could help Will and Deanna and Kestra, make his mother Ro Laren and you make even more fans happy. Star Trek Online also has a Klingon Admiral named D'Vak, he is Alexander's son, Worf's grandson, Worf is also now married to Quark's ex-wife.
Star Trek Online material is far more likely to be canonized than any other non-canon Trek because some of it already has been. Most recent example being the fleet in Picard season 2 episode 1 which had 4 ship designs from Star Trek Online.
And what about the Borg baby in "Child's Play"? It was sent to Voyager where the doctor saved it but it was never referred to again.
Borg baby 😭
The producers of Voyager said that the borg baby was returned to its people off-screen.
You hit the two I want more than anything, Dr. Pulaski and Ro Laren...
I would have loved to see Tomalok during the fall of Romulus. Too bad Andreas Katsulas is no longer with us
"I like it already." :)
Tomalak was great but dwarfed by G'Kar
@@jerryvr No argument there at all
What I'd give for a Mollari/G'Kar reunion...
[J Jonah Jameson scream] “I want a return of Jellico!”
Nagilum used to freak me out as a kid, as it I'd watch the episode but hide my eyes behind a pillow when he would show up.
Great character.
Several of these characters showed up in Star Trek Online, non-canon though it may be. It's hinted that the new security chief of DS9 is Ro's daughter, Sela was a major presence, and Gaul made quite the menace of himself. The only time I ever got truly frustrated playing that game was trying to defeat his fleets. This also got tied in to the Blue Gill aliens from the TNG episode "Conspiracy."
Oh my god the Vadwuar fleets with their energy mines and massive numbers holy shit that got so frustrating. Gaul himself was a cool villain and I enjoyed taking him down. I still have one or two missions in that Delta Quadrant arc I have to complete as the aftermath of all that.
Also really enjoy Sela’s character arc
Yeah, there was quite a few loose threds resolved in ST Online.
In the novels, especially the final CODA trilogy, Ro Laren is actually the Commander of the new Federation constructed DS9.
@@Cdr2002 Gaul. Still. Is. ( I might have started a new character with the concept of only using mission reward gear and... that was a mistake)
The Kazon could never be a serious threat to the federation - they're too far behind in technology. They could threaten a single ship because of sheer numbers. But if they did come into direct contact with Star Fleet it'd be a kerb-stomp. Especially if we're talking in any timeframe after Star Fleet started producing warships. That fight would unpleasantly one-sided and very short.
Even the Borg didn't bother assimilating them, they have nothing of value to offer the Collective.
*curb-stomp
@@Akira625 I remember Seven also mentioning that the Borg would deviate from perfection, so obviously the Kazon would only add imperfection to the collective.
A sad sad sad race indeed, basically useless where ever they show up in the galaxy, but you know what they say about dogs: Its always the smallest ones which barks the loudest.
@@lovipoekimo176 Presumably British, as they spell it with a k over there.
@@lovipoekimo176 It's only a 'curb' in the US, the rest of the world still uses the Queen's English, so it is a Kerb-stomp.
One of my favorite characters in all of Star Trek was Thy'lek Shran.
So I have to agree with what you said about Combs.
That's some comment, pink-skin. Some comment indeed. :)
Funny, the Enterprise crew get caught in a time loop with the USS Bozeman
then time travel to Bozeman Montana to launch the 1st warp flight...
Is it a hint from Q?
"Hey, you're caught in a time loop at an important point in history."
An anthology series that could commit two episodes to at least some stories could really cover all kinds of stuff including revisiting some of these characters. Show different perspectives of a major event, cover some stories in the time gaps between some of the series and so much more. Kelsey is such a great actor. A two parter with some decent writing and a good supporting cast would be hard to screw up. I mean that is basically the same amount of screen minutes of an average movie. A well written two part Archer could wrap up some story lines (even if not all the STE actors come back) and at the same time give good look at those early federation years and his role. It would be fun to see an Enterprise C episode. That would be a great way to look at one of those time gaps while keeping a classic familiarity. What happened to Capt Merriman after Kirk was killed on his maiden voyage? What become of the young Dimora Sulu? That also wraps some story up and gives us a glimpse of a time period that has been little covered except in novels. There are just some many possibilities. On a sperate topic. I would like to see a Captain Suru series done in the classic format (TOS, TNG SNW) that gives that character and actor its due respect and potential and explores that time line with out a season long disaster to manage.
Some of mine:
Kurn
Charlie Evans
Martok (this one is happening)
Quark
Rom
The Excalbians
The Horta
Harry Mudd (in his own show)
Dax
The Metrons
The Kelvans
Saavik
Jillian Taylor
The Kzinti
The original series is sadly absent from this list.
Seeing what happened to Khan Noonean Singh ("Space Seed") would also be interesting. (/s)
I'm sure you guys did this video a while ago because this week's episode of Lower Decks season 3 premiere had not just Captain Bareson referenced but they showed a picture of him in reference to some secret mission that he led and they also showed a picture of Tuvok being a part of that mission too.
Maybe they edited this video after it was posted because now it includes several stills of animated Bateson!
Kazon needed to have a “thing” like they should have been “fast learners” or something. Even though they couldn’t develop tech as fast as other powers they could learn how to use any one’s tech fast.
Didn't they blow themselves up when trying to use a replicator?
Kazon men badly need hair products or a buzz cut. 😆
I mean, they kind of are. The main disadvantage the Kazon had was the same as everyone else in the regions near the Caretaker Array: the area is EXTREMELY resource-poor, apparently for quite a distance. My guess is that the Caretaker(s) consumed them all, in a way not entirely unlike how the Crystalline entity stripped planets of their biomass, just slowly enough that they were able to recognize the sentient Ocampa before wiping them out. But consider that the Kazon were bartering for WATER, something you'd think wouldn't be a major issue for a spacefaring species (especially one forced to live in space permanently due to not having a home world since the Kazon were driven off of theirs by the Trabe), even without replicator technology or transporters, just with basic recycling (or just getting it out of some water-rich planet for basically free). In order to be trading for water, they'd either have had some ship catastrophe causing them to lose their stores or there just isn't much out there to begin with but a bunch of desert world's, essentially making them a Mad-Max style pirate civilization (which.... That tracks).
In any case, the fact that they chased Voyager as far as they could just to get their hands on replicator tech as a significantly high priority says a lot for what they're working with, which is to say, not much. They were desperate, which was a common theme in some of the earliest races Voyager encountered. Honestly, I'm not even sure this was intentional on the writers' part, but I think the fact that-even working with next to nothing-the Kazon managing what they did implies a resourcefulness and determination that sets them apart from most in terms of their 'trait' as a civilization (as much as I hate that as a signifier).
The main weakness of the Jason is they were so fractious and disorganized.
Give Cullah Control of a UNIFIED Kazon Empire and then see what kind of threat he poses.
@@KentuckyKaiju I mean to be fair, we were also seeing them pretty much at the beginning of their spacefaring history, catapulted up with technology stolen from their former oppressors and scrambling to establish territories and power bases. Given some time to establish themselves they could become a genuine power.
In my own mind, I came up with a story to not only bring back Toral, but have the Kazon finding a way to the Alpha Quadrant to join up with groups of Klingons and Romulans... the latter being led by none other than Sela.
This story idea also undid some of the things done in the main Trek timeline and changed the outcome of a few other events.... it's a bit wild, to be honest. lol
Excellent video, BUT!!! Pulaski is mentioned in Who Watches The Watchers! Season 3. Crusher mentioned that she is familiar with "Dr. Pulaski's technique", for removing short term memories.
I don’t remember where I saw the suggestion but it would be feasible for Jeffrey Combs to reprise his role as Shran in SNW, which I have to say, watching him play against Anson Mount in that role would be AMAZING.
This just has to happen - and if they could find some way of bringing back Trip Tucker while they were about it, that would be perfect. 🖖
Regarding the character of Maje Culluh, bringing back his character might not be physically necessary if the actor isn’t available because the writers could instead just bring back his now grown-up half-Cardassian son with the explanation that he has since took over the Nistrim sect after his father passed away. This might actually be a preferable storyline because fans like myself are actually more interested in learning what happened to the actual kid after his mom (Seska) died and his dad fled with him. For if the kid had instead died along with his mom and Culluh escaped without him, then I honestly don’t think anyone would really care about happened to the disgraced Kazon thereafter.
You know what would be hilarious? A Star Trek miniseries that rounds up as many of the Star Trek characters who have been left by the wayside in something of a riff/homage of The Expendables.
I would love that
Me too.
Oh man - the Vaadwaar! Everyone seems to have forgotten them, including the Voyager relaunch bookverse!
The character of Morgan Bateson did make an re-appearance, in a manner of speaking. The STNG novel 'Ship of the Line' centers around Capt. Bateson commanding the Enterprise-E for her 1st voyage.
You showed the Fraiser cast doing the Star Trek appearance back in the 90s. Love to see them make a Picard appearance as Captain Bateson's crew.
That would be pretty amazing.
Just a note; Star Trek Online HAS brought the Vaadwuar back as major antagonists for the Delta Quadrant arc, alongside the Voth. Gaul is still in charge (technically, spoilers) and they've updated their tech.
They're REALLY annoying.
And later, Sela helped fight the Iconians then was willingly detained in a Federation penal facility.
Forgot to include The Intendant. Getting Nana Visitor to come back and chew the scenery as the mirror universe villain would be great.
Sela was criminally underused
I would like for Thomas Riker to come back in some way.
Only if he pulls off the sides of his beard again 😆
What a fantastic video Sean! Your enthusiasm and mad knowledge made this (and all your videos) so much fun to watch! I am voting for Pulaski to meet Crusher, and Ro to meet... well, anyone (preferable, Picard)!
There is a book which shows Captain Bateson as the first Commander of the Enterprise E, he was involved in the development of new tech for the federation so must have caught up really quickly. The book is called Ship of the Line
3:51 Ok, I've enjoyed so many of your videos, but this moment got me legit laughing out loud.
I would be interested to find out what happened to Thomas Riker (or Riker's transporter clone). Perhaps in Lower Decks? Also bring back Trelaine which is a Q like character from TOS (obviously you may need a new actor to play him).
Trelaine was semi-confirmed as a young Q in the novel Q-squared (I think its that one). So it would be a Q story with an older Trelaine Q.
Thomas Riker is Riker's transporter clone.
Love your shows
There is also the child of one of the Klingon Cleavage Sisters, mentioned in the T.N.G. episode, Firstborn.
If they bring back Kelsey Grammar they should make his arch enemy a sentient Jack Russell.
Either that or he gets split in a transporter accident a la "The Enemy Within" and has to face off against his aggressive furry blue half.
@@HermanVonPetri ... which was remade in Voyager as "Faces" with a different conclusion.
@@HermanVonPetri I had to think about that one for a minute...well done!
I sincerely hope someone there in your writer team has played StarTrek online because many of these characters were continued in the game and given resolutions and many were in the books. So yeah, you tend to miss alot of lore don't you!
These videos are main focused on on screen canon scenarios.
I vaguely remember a ds9 episode where a group came through the wormhole thinking bajor was their home world but eventually settled elsewhere. I'd love to know what happened with them.
The episode was called 'Sanctuary'.
I'm also convinced Ro is one of the secret cameos in Picard season 3. That would be one they would want to shock us with
4:43 - Dr Pulaski's fate is obvious. The Enterprise pulled into a space station to pickup Dr Crusher and Dr Pulaski was supposed to go aboard the station and wait for a ship/shuttle to pick her up and take her to her next duty assignment. However, the turbo-lift doors opened due to a glitch and she stepped into an empty shaft. We know from Discovery that the inside of those shafts are huge, thus her fate was grim. The fall didn't kill her, but the sudden stop at the bottom...
You know one thing that made me feel stupid? When I first watched Voyager, I wasn't paying much attention and misunderstood Seska as secretly a Kazon rather than Cardassian. I was super confused how a Kazon infiltrated Starfleet from so far away.
Honestly I love the second season of TNG! Dr Pulaski was a refreshing change from Dr Crusher of season 1. And Where Silence Has Lease is one of my favorite Star Trek episodes period!
Agree 100%! IMHO, the only clunker in S2 is "Shades of Gray"
Nothing against Crusher, but Pulaski was GREAT.
Maybe TOO great. Or TOO strong a character.
IIRC, Muldar has publicly stated that she would never do Sci-Fi ever again - sorry!
@@RogbodgeVideo According to Diana Mauldur, she was not accepted as part of the TNG crew...(Of course, this could be because she had replaced Gates Mc Fadden, who ran into conflicts with a producer in Season 1)....Diana had no such problem in "LA Law..."
@@marknorth8904 Then why did they kill her character off by having her fall down a lift shaft?
Denise Crosby literally just confirmed at a Con a day or two ago that she IS in Picard S3 in some capacity, but didn't elaborate. Since it was confirmed there is a Tasha Yar "thing" in S3, it seems likely to be a flashback, hologram or something similar and not actually Tasha Yar somehow brought back to life (without changing the timeline by stopping her from going back in Yesterday's Enterprise and creating Sela etc.) but who knows what they will do.
Always on board for Combs! Though Wayoun will always be MY favorite, I would say Shran is probably the best candidate for a return. We don't even need to create any continuity to fit him in.
I don't recall any hard canon lifespan on Andorians, but beta canon lists their "typical" lifespan of 120-135
Shran is made a General in 2164... It COULD be possible for him to still be alive in Strange New World's timeline.
And Combs himself has said Shran is the character he would most like to revisit.
I'd pay for a Shran series even!
Morgan Bateson: If you read my reply over on Lower Decks 3.1 U/D video: DEFINITELY a character that needs to be explored.
Give him a nice sort of Black Ops type of ship like a blacked out Defiant class.
I know he commanded a Sovereign in the novels, but Lower Decks shows him doing wetwork and if we run with that a Sovereign is way too big. I know he was in an Akira in Lower Decks, but I don't really like them 😉
I want to see Marshall Janeway return. She and Admiral Leeta could team up as pirates raiding the Terran Empire.
I have good news for you and bad news for you...
@@berthulf No you don't.
Regarding the Romulan Free State thing in Picard; i kinda prefer the way things went in Star Trek Online. The Romulan Republic. It became an ally to both the Federation AND the Klingon Empire. I enjoy playing as a Romulan in that game. And because the empire is gone we don't have to wear those bulky shoulder uniforms lol.
I think Dr. Pulaski is referenced in "Ship In A Bottle" when Moriarty is explaining some things to Reg and mentioned his hostage he had in "Elementary, Dear Data". He doesn't say her name but does elude to her.
Weyoun ain’t dead, baby. They’re probably on Weyoun 282 by now, but he could literally show up in Picard or Disco’s future time without a real canon bend or break
Sorry, but the one Garak killed on screen in the final episode was the last of the Weyouns. If it happens on screen, it happened.
@@StockportJambo The founders lie ALL THE TIME.
@@lordhosk 🤣😂
@@StockportJambo it was the last Weyoun in the Alpha quadrant alive. They even brought him back in Star Trek Online
@The Critic that she had in the Alpha Quadrant
Livingstone, Picard's pet fish needs to return, even if it's just a holographic representation of the creature... :P
Theory: Ro Laren might have found her self a survivor on the run in Romulan space and finds Sela in over her head not knowing what to do and Ro Laren could help Sela the way Picard helped her but in her own way.
Picard S3 producers have stated that they got someone they didn't think they were going to be able to get. I think that's Michelle Forbes, and Ro will appear in Season 3.
The fact that Sela hasn't returned is a damn shame.
I love that this was obviously written before Lower Decks season 3 came out.
5:58 oh god, I remember that scene. It's the point in which my DVD player always crashes!
Coda had one of the best Janeway lines of the series: "Go back to hell, coward!"
Who did she say that to?!!
@@MishraArtificer The alien posing as her father
@@ismike1982 excellent. Thanks!
The DS9 books handled Ro really well.
Sela did return as Empress Sela in Star Trek Online., but I don't know how "canon" that is.
I'll tell you what I like... that Star Trek fans know how to spell 'canon' correctly. Thank you, sir!
In non-cannon ST:O She became the empress of the Romulan Star Empire.
Also the Vad'Waur was one of the main villains in the Delta Force content patch in ST:O as well.
How long do Andorians live? Is there any reason Jeffrey Combs couldn’t make an appearance in Strange New Worlds as Shran?
While not officially canon, Captain Bateson is captain of the starship Atlas during the Borg invasion of 2381.
interesting idea, the array was not completley destoryed so the kazon find a way to the alpha quadrant by studing the remaining debris from the explosion
The book ship of the Line though non cannon gave some good storyline to Captain Morgan Bateson and his acclimation to his new era of time. As the Captain of the Enterprise E on its shakedown cruise he has some interesting growth as a character as well as interaction with Picard and the next gen crew.
Penk? Penk?!?!? No, you fools! Give Jeffery Combs his own show as Shran! (Or one of Shran's descendants.)
Lower Decks still seems to be the show to beat with these random but highly accurate callbacks. That would be hilarious seeing Frasier actually act out those scenes in live action.
Morgan Bateson makes kind of an appearance in Lower Decks season 3 opening. And yes, it was a very nice addition.
that green wrap around looks good on Pike .
Thanks.
i would love to see Captain Bateson and Bozeman adventures again😔👌
I am going to go on a limb here, but there have been hints that DS9 will play a role in Picard Season three. Worf is a Captain, but not of a regular ship? so could he be Captain of DS9? " Do not presume to know what I have or had sacrificed for this". Kurtzman did bring up Sisko and how important he is to Star Trek. Robert Myer Burnett has openly said that season 3 Picard is "a love letter to TNG and DS9" Worf is on another Track one related to the Dominion War" Sisko end is not entirely closed " I'll be back, maybe a year, Maybe yesterday" Hmmmm Could Picard season 3 be the lauching point to Bringing back The Siske and others??
I have always been "Addicted to Stat Trek"...
The more information that you can give me, the better!
Dr. Pulaski was at the wedding (according to the "A Time To" series). As was Wesley (who was only seen briefly.
I agree. So many stories to be told. Gaul does appear in the game of Star Trek Online. Sela, too.
Isn't Gaul killed toward the end of the Delta Quadrant arc?
@@pidpipr8566 He is a really tough fight, but I think he survives. Everyone just kinda forgets about him after an Iconian console's found in his base.
LOL, Diana Muldour is like 90 years old at this point. In "Chaos on the Bridge" she was interviewed and said she hated every minute of playing Dr. Pulaski.
Wouldn’t it be cool if the Romulan general never killed Tasha and Sela was lying to hurt Picard?
Mind Blowing 💥🤣
If the kazon and the varrdoi(typo) teamed up that could be the next enemy, I would 3xplain travel to and from the delta quadrant and I'm sure the vardoi would find a way to catch up technologically by the time they retur to trek
Toral does show up in Star trek Armada and he is excellent.
Ro Laren definitely needs to come back. Too much story left to tell.
Ro Laren is dead. All the Maquis, save for the few Sisco and Eddington managed to save, were slaughtered after Cardassia joined The Dominion. Ro wasn't among them, but I agree: she deserved more story than we saw. Thankfully, Kira's character gave us what Ro WOULD have been in DS9. It's unfortunate that Ro's actress wasn't available.
Pretty sure Kira Nerys told the rest of that story along with half the voyager crew.
@@chrisortega7521 was about to say this. It also mentions them being wiped out in a few episodes I believe, but as with all Trek, No Body? No Death
If she comes back, she gonna have some serious explaining to do to Picard.
@@HammerJammer81 I think it's safe to say, we Star Trek geeks can read between the lines when it comes to dialog. While I would LOVE to see Ro (and also Sela) come back, we can surmise that they both died off screen; Ro when the Maquis were wiped out, and Sela, when the Tal Shi'ar fleet was destroyed.
As far as the latter goes, only Enabrin Tain survived that assault, so we can assume that IF she was there (which I postulate she must have been, because she was the head of the Tal Shi'ar), she would be dead. Same for Ro, as she was a frontline Maquis fighter, with the training and experience needed to lead troops. We can assume she was on the front when The Dominion attacked, and probably died holding her post, so that others might flee. Those others could very well be Edington's small group that Sisco helps to evacuate.
I do agree, though. I would have loved to see that episode. It could tie everything in.
You could almost say , every episode of any Star Trek show that introduces any new character can be on this list 😂
Some of theses names, Cullah, Gaul, Toral, Sela, have appeared in Star Trek Online (Sela voiced by Denise Crosby). Their asses have been kicked many times, and some just refuse to die, no matter how many times I (The Player) try. So while a Beta Canon, they do have some resolution.
The Vaadwaur struck me as re-imagined Cardassians. Both species being snake like. Having them strike a deal with the defeated Cardassians to bring them back to their former glory and 'rightful place' in the galaxy sounds interesting. Bring Garrick in to the mix. Fighting against this new partnership because he knows that it will likely mean the destruction of the Cardassian people.
In an episode of Voyager, Chakotay mentioned that in the latest broadcast from Starfleet, the Maquis had been destroyed by the Dominion, during the Dominion War...
I like your videos
I always jokingly call the Khazon Space Oompa-Loompas. Look at the resemblance. The weird hair, mostly.
☝️This!🖖
Good list. Especially Jeffrey Combs. But my number 1 would have been Sisko.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the villain in Picard Was going to be played Ms. Crosby
Tha Vaadwaurr show up in a big way during the Delta Quadrant arc in Star Trek Online. Well worth playing, if a bit long
TrekCulture needs to be represented on the Star Trek cruise in January. Just sayin'.
My favorite here is Sela. I've always wished showed her more in TNG or had given her an appearance in DS9 during the Dominion War.
Pulaski, Ro Laren, Sela. That’s all we really need.
They were going to bring Ro back. She was even going to be part of the main cast of a show. We got Kira instead. Though I've never heard anyone complain, I often wonder what might have been.
Character: Exists
Seán: Could be shown in prodogy.
Love it xD
#1 made me laugh having watched the Lower Decks premiere the other day. Guessing this was recorded before it aired.
Yes to Ro Laren and definitely yes to Sela! Also, more Jeffery Combs in Trek is always a good thing!
Gaul would be awesome. As much as I want to see Jeffrey Combs once again, Gaul is a villain with teeth (see what I did there?) Also Seela could show up because showrunners can lie! Look at what happened with the last Spider-Man movie: Andrew Garfield went on camera saying he wouldn't be appearing. And then did.
As I said in live for LD, I am confident we get Bateson and Tuvok in this season of Lower Decks.
My theory is that they already done drawing for characters, so why not to use them in 3x1. Or they just tease us for now.
Btw, Lower Decks goes to DS9 sometime in this season (confirmed) - this opens place to show a lot of characters from there.
And knowing that we can expect everything from Mike McMahan, this is opportunity to give multiple characters to Jeffrey Combs. They need to set kind of record with him: Playing 3, 4, 5 or more characters in one episode. Maybe!? I would do it, however.
Picture this, Q decides to have some fun and locks the Prime and Mirror universe versions of all Combs’ characters in a room w/a single disruptor pistol . . . w/one shot left
We also need something that says what happened with Junior at some point. I kept expecting that he'd show up in Picard season 2, because there needs to be something that explains either what happened to him or what he's doing
Jeffrey Combs in any Star Trek series please
I'd love to see McFadden and Muldaur acting off of each other🤯
Dr Pulaski fell down an open turbolift shaft.
You're *old* if you get that.
You beat me to it😄
Seeing Cullah and Janeway face off again after so many years would be interesting.
Cullah thinks it's some kind of massive epic rivalry that fate has forced them back together again, and how the Nistram will take her technology, blah, blah, blah.
Janeway with years more experience fighting actual threats like the Borg, not to mention the latest Federation tech doesn't even see Cullah as worth the time to squash. Leaves him with a final word about how he's wasted the years fighting but achieving nothing.
I want RO dammit. Michelle was SO good with that character. I'm a BSG fan too, but she was at her level best as Ro. Also, if the Kazon were purchased at a discount store masquerading as Klingons, then they must have had another sale under the name "Q" when Negilum was purchased🤣 Imagine a starship caught in the middle of a spat between Q and Negilum....
