There's something oddly melancholic about this song.
1979: Read about "The Feelies" in "The Village Voice".Bought the single "Fa Se La". This song was the B-side.This song is STILL one of my favorite rock and rolls songs of all time. And I still have the single.
just the best. never fails.
Their best song. That guitar man...THAT FUCKING GUITAR!
those last few measures.... ugh... God it's so beautiful.... I love you, the Feelies, but why couldn't these final chilling moments last forever?
great as this record is, that's why seeing them live was a whole 'nother universe
Dammit Dad, I want to Believe!
This kind of music never grows old.
Released as a single in the UK in September 1979.
my father remembers having listened to it at that time, he has several records of this band
it's never 40 years ago I bought this single, surely
I bought this single after hearing it on John Peel
devastante!!! Che meraviglia!!!
They're playing tonight in Brooklyn! Everybody come on down to The Bellhouse!
This song (as well as the rest of Crazy Rhythms) is basically R.E.M. & Sonic Youth before either of those bands released their debut albums.
I wish there was a word in the English language that describes how this song makes me feel. More than euphoria.
best song on the album
Vseslav Botkin second best one Moscow Nights is superb
this certain sound remainds me to the Undertones.
