The energy in these playoffs is unreal compared to the NHL nowadays. Something is just so much different.
Cameron Clark completely agree the series just don’t have that edge anymore
Probably because the league is getting too wimpy. The players aren't allowed to even say anything to a ref about a bad call anymore. They've been wussified and muzzled. I still love hockey, but it's been turned into a gentleman's game and not the rough playing, hard-nosed game it used to be. I miss the good old days. 😪
As awful as this series was and as much as I hate reliving these horrors as a Flyers fan, I love these quality of the highlight videos you post. Between sound, picture, longevity, and the fact that you show highlights from both teams, you're more reliable than NHL.
As much as I don't like the Flyers...
It was nice to see the fans give McQuaid a standing ovation
brandon goodwin If my Rangers had beaten Washington in that opening round series, we would’ve been the ones sweeping Philly in the 2nd round and we would’ve become the 2nd straight #8 seed to upset the Capitals in the opening round and the defending Eastern Conference Champions in 4 games in the 2nd round before losing the ECF in 5 games, as we would’ve lost to your Bruins in 5 games and you guys would’ve still gone on to win the Cup.

i would have loved to hear jack's call on the final goal: "shoots! it's in the net!!!! wait, what? WAKE UP!"
We have Rask. But if it wasn't for Thomas, we wouldn´t have Stanley. How quickly some people forget.
PRIMAX1967 Thank Claude Julien, too. His no-nonsense, my way or the highway coaching style helped you guys, too.
Yea because rask isn’t winning a cup that’s for sure!! It’s a shame Tuukka can’t win an award for best goalie who’s also a choke artist
@@ProudBostonian: The 2019 loss falls mainly on the guys in front of him. Tuukka did all he could in Game 7.
@@B.Launders All he could? He gave up 4 goals on only 20 shots....that’s hardly “all he could do”
@@ProudBostonian: 1st goal: deflected. 2nd goal: Marchand's pathetic effort. 3rd goal: off a turnover via forecheck. 4th goal: Tuukka had no chance. That loss wasn't on him...at all.
Am I the only one who heard a guy scream "F*** IT!!!" After the bruins first goal 😂😂🤣
That was Boucher and I think he was talking to the ref "Fuck off! This fuckin guy (Ryder) Fuck you!"
JVR was so good this game we’re lucky he didn’t have 4 goals and 6 points
Excellent highlight reel...well done!
Props to philly for giving a standing ovation to Mcquaid. I dint know they would do that
Of all players, for Danny Briere to fan on a surefire game winning shot, my heart broke for him. As a bruins fan he was one of my favorite all time players
The yr before flyers came back from losing 3 games straight on the brink of elimination and then won 4 straight stunning the bruins but then fast forward to 2011 bruins swept the flyers and after game 2's ot loss seemed like flyers and there fans Hope's and dreams were crushed to come back and win the series after that game 2 ot loss in philly.
Tainopisno1 That’s why I like the Bruins. I hate the Flyers.
dafoomie, great work man. Keep it up!..... Anybody noticed how pro-philly these announcers have been (or at least how little they seem to know about Boston)?
Thank Boychuck hit made the 6'5'' 220 Coburn look like he was marchands size . Coburn got his ass kicked in this by the Bruins defensman
Bruins my fav team ever bruh
3:11-3:24 Is it just me, or is the the most drawn out horn ever?
I don't really like the flyers fans but they did show a great class applauding Darth Quaider off the ice
Tim Thomas was the best NHL player in 2011, No doubt about that. Say what you want about him and his politics, but Thomas was one hell of a goalie.
redwings90 no he wasn’t. He played great in this series and vs the canucks and over time we’ve all talked ourselves into believing that Thomas was the only reason why they won. They were back in the finals by 2013 without him and would have won if Bergeron Horton chars siedenberg and others weren’t hurt along with losing some devastating OT games. Anyways this flyer team had tons of talent but wasn’t getting along at the point.
@@pat442389 Nailed it! Thomas made some very timely saves in particular games in the Montreal and TB series but the real reason the B's won the Cup is that they could play against anybody in any style. Their first two lines were pick your poison...stop one and the other would excel. The third line was better than most 2nd lines in the league. The Merlot line was also very dangerous for a variety of reasons. This team really had wheels. If only their health was better off in 2013, it should have been another Cup.
@pjtheory24 It's kind of a conflict of interest because Comcast owns the Flyers...and VS/NBC. =/
And dafoomie, thank you for uploading all of these!
Gotta love those Cryer fans at the end of the game when the ref confirmed the Bruins OT goal
well yeah bro
aretwo deetwo As a Ranger fan, I love the Penguins, Canadiens and Bruins, mainly because I hate the Flyers.
Gotta admit, as a B's fan, JVR was flying all night. That guy is force. Thomas solved him though.
Why is the strange goal in OT reminds me of the 2010 cup finals in game 6 Flyers vs Blackhawks
Krejci wasn't on the ice at 4:05, so I don't think that's what Boucher said
Yessss!!!! 🙌🏼👏🏼🤩
What is it with the Flyers and unnoticed goals?
Boston dobre to je len tak ďalej aby vám to išlo ďalej prajem vám to.
How the hell do both refs miss that ot goal. It was the middle of the net.
Bang bang play..It looks good, but the refs dont want to hault play. You would be surprised at how many pipe jobs occur.....
KMK7355 the the
Ref was directly behind the net, 6 feet away and fucking blew it. That ass should have been fired right after the game.
Not like that it doesn't. It was in the middle of the net. Any NHL ref that misses that should not be doing PO games. Again center of the net.
Should kept bob in there..... No offense but Boucher BLOWS
Krejci celebration ruined by lack of goal call.. Ridiculous
what a difference watching this series over the montreal series. i love how you can actually hit the flyers and they dont fall to the ice like theyve been shot. they push back instead of falling down trying to draw penalties everywhere. could you imagine if that was Subban instead of Coburn? they would be rolling out a stretcher and the bell centre would be crying their asses off
That was Boucher complaining he was interfered with.
FUCK DUDE is anyone taking in how DYNAMITE van reimsdyk plays? so impressive
JVR has never come close to that level of play since tjhis game in his career. Explain how he hasn't become a dominant power forward.
did anyone else hear that at 4:08
@BranLwyd You're right. I should have said 'them'. He did all the solving he needed to.
These highlights are great! McQuaid got just what he deserved that sneaky bastard. I loved the seats we had at the game, 2nd floor right behind Thomas in the first period. That also meant that we were among the first to realize that the OT goal was in fact a goal.
If you look at it again, the player McQuaid was going after SAW him coming and moved out of the way, ducking away from him. Granted, there was no contact, but it was almost the same move Marchand made in a game that upended one of the Sedin's. Marchand was raked over the coals for that and should have been. This guy should've been too. PEACE
He broke a bone in his face late in the regular season
@PJStock42 He's only just turned 22 today. I think him and Giroux could be a sick line for years to come.
You thought wrong:)
This was the game that Tim Thomas flat out stole. Philly should have won 6-1.
i meant 3:59
That*
Where is dafoom now-a-days?
flyers have the most intimidating goal horn
It sounds like the Bruins goal horn, only a lot longer. It's too much. 👂
@DrumBub07 ...? WTF are you talking about?
Mcquaid you dummy! 😂😂😂Lol
17:30
fucking laws of physics was trolling us.... :(
that penalty by tim
at the start was so bs
Delay of game is delay of game unfortunately. I’ve never seen a goalie draw that call from batting it out of mid air, before but shit happens.
@shadowstalker999 right though tis nigga is krazy
challenge that Bruins 2nd goal.
that was offsides!!!
susan bisceglia I know this reply is very late, but there was no coach’s challenge in 2011.
Agreed
Ridiculous implementation of that rule nowadays. There could be 5 minutes of play in the offensive zone that ends with a goal only to be nullified by an offsides that had nothing to do with anything. Should have a 10 second rule. The bench can use some kind of indicator within 10 seconds of play time, that the zone entry is being challenged. If wrong, it's a 5 minute major penalty and it can be attempted once per game.
Wow...using your brain just isn't your strength, is it?
What brain?
van riemsdyk reminds me of blake wheeler
hes big and can create chances with speed, but has low mental awareness and lack of finish
most goals he scores are garbage goals off rebounds sitting in the crease or deflections
hes a good player but not worthy of the deepthroating he received all night from the VS commentators
Coming from a Bruins fan, I love Tim, but his attitude is shit. He can leave and not come back for all I care, we have Rask.
Nothing wrong with Thomas's attitude. Thanks to him, I got to see the Bruins win Stanley Cup #3. Saw them win it in '70 and '72. Yeah, I'm that old. 😏 The Bruins management let Timmy go because of PC crap and politics. So much for freedom of speech. 🤨
lame I hate the booins that how me and my dad calls it
daniel ntumba "me and my dad"
