  • So I've been using the Series 1 for just about 3 weeks and it's time to compare it against the Titan that's worked well the last half year. If you're considering getting one of these for your home office / gaming space, this video may come in handy. Thanks for watching, and let me know your thoughts and questions!

      Nice, glad it helped! I'm using my Steelcase now. Which chair did you get?

    Nice video, I kinda skipped around after 5 to 6 minutes but definitely intrigued by the value proposition of the Series 1 or Series 2 compared to Leap V2 and Gesture

      Many thanks man. It's hard to truly judge a chair unless you try it out yourself but the Series 2 and other models do look interesting for future buys 😉

    Bought second hand TitanEvo XL 2022 for 400 euros already mounted with 3 years warranty (3 months of use), I originally wanted to buy a Gesture for 1200 euros but being a student doesn't really help with budget.
    I had terrible posture since young ages (playing on sofa and crappy chairs), always slouching with my feet on the edge of the seat (C shape agaisn't backrest).
    When I tested the secretlab yesterday it was firm but not too firm, my only issue is that I always want to slouch agains't it, and the lumbar support clearly tell me shut up sit properly, slight sore lower back like after gym, so I guess it's all about adapting from bad to good posture...
    Would have loved to try the gesture too, maybe when I will have a full time job and no studies to pay lol
    Thanks for the vid, it helped me

      Thanks for the comment! As a student it must be hard to see all this new tech coming out and having to save up for it. Now I have a car and expenses related to it take a lot out of what I would have paid for tech. But the convenience! Right with time (and a job) your chair collection (and posture) will only get better. Enjoy your XL 2022!

    As much as I hate to say it because yes I own a secretlab they are kinda junk, to be clear 600 is a lot for any chair but good gaming chairs start at 300 and gaming chairs in general are no where near high end ergonomic chairs so If spending 300 are in this case 100 more is to much then you are not looking for extreem comfort. Secretlab is way over rated, I'm sure there are cheaper gaming chairs that are better.

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  Před 2 lety +2

      Secretlab does have its perks but i have to agree with you it sure is overrated. I think it's mostly to do with the hardness and size of the chair... if they'd made it softer and slightly more ergonomic (ie. curved to fit the spine and bottom) i think they'd have a winner. I'm OK with the price because for what you get it isn't up there with the premium office gaming chairs, but it is better than the dirt-cheap knockoff i had before :D

    just ordered the series 1 without the headrest... im about 5'7, do you think i will need the headrest? Also how are you enjoying the chair now that you have spent more time, do you like it or are there any minor concerns you have picked up over time?

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  Před rokem

      Im 5'9 and the headrest works well for me. It should do the same for you too, if you wanna add it. The chair is identical in comfort to day 1... if anything i wish there was a way to recline it further down to 180 degrees. Other than that i have no complaints. Its a very lightweight and ergonomic chair that suits me well for office work and gaming 😀

    Do you think there is a compatibility between chairs when it comes to both cross legs (have that room on the seat) and completely touch the ground comfortable ? Excuse my english, Im spanish :)

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  Před 2 lety

      No problem buddy, great hearing from someone in Spain:) For crossing the legs, I think the bigger dimensions of the Secretlab work better - the Steelcase is just a little too small to cross your legs on, as it seems to be more for sitting upright only. For both your legs to touch the ground comfortably (and for your bottom to fully stay in the chair) the Series 1 is way better than the Titan - it's softer and smaller so you ca move in fully. The Titan is like a giant car seat that swallows you up!

      @@LockdownTechToys imo they are just hype chairs. I didn't find one comfortable for more than an hour. I recommend office chairs in midrange price like ur series1 steelcase. Me myself I have a series 2 and it's another dimension to the gaming chairs

      @LockdownTechToys  Před 2 lety +2

      You're totally right! I looked through the web and although Secretlab and other gaming chairs had great reviews, in reality the Tian Evo is very hard and uncomfortable. Office chairs like those from Steelcase and Herman Miller are way more comfortable. I'm curious to try out the series 2!

      @@LockdownTechToys and they are all copy paste. the racing seats aren't just uncomfortable, I found the look over the years stupid too. But that's my opinion :D
      They all do the advertising right tho
      But when ppl do the straight comparison, everyone would go with the office chairs. But gaming chairs are too mainstream

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  Před 2 lety +1

      People go for the cool look of the racing chairs more than anything else. And they're easier to find on display too! At least where I'm at. High end office chairs are way more comfy, if only people paid more attention to them 😆
