I laughed at how blunt he was with it. If you think its a perfect film with no errors thats up to you but to me and I love the film there is a few scenes you can just talk shit about.

That final scene between Bryan and Dom was just perfect and a touching tribute to Paul Walker.
I’ve been living my life one quarter mile at a time.
To me, that finale should've ended the series. That was simple perfection. The recent two films just messed up the series right now.

I always appreciated that they didn't choose to kill off Brian in the middle of the movie to work around it. They found a way to have Brian have a proper sendoff and a reason to kind of just step away from the action and the missions that makes sense narratively.

In F9, Mia tells Dom that Brian is the best person to protect the kids. Villains have tracked down their home before, so a babysitter would be useless, someone like Brian needs to be there.
I remember watching this in the theater and you can hear the audience gasp when we thought they might kill off Brian
I think it would’ve been kinda disrespectful to just kill him off as the cast and crew were grieve his real loss

My favourite part of this movie was Mia's phone call with Brian. By the time they filmed Mia's perspective Paul had passed so the actress was listening to a voice recording of Paul saying his lines, which brought out such raw emotion from Jordana. Absolutely beautiful

The most ridiculous stunt in the movie, parachuting cars out of the plane, is the most real stunt in the movie. It is all practical.
I think the car flying from building to building is the most ridiculous.

They really did Paul justice. A beautiful send off to a good man, lots of us who grew up with him and the rest of the fast crew felt the loss. But the way they sent him off in this movie makes it truly a sweet end and one with the perfect amount of closure for his character.

The subtle little music choices and sound effects put in the background is something I didn't know this channel would lean into as a lot of reaction channels have memes coming out of nowhere. Such a perfect summation of this franchise's core identity. I'm honestly surprised that I liked ALL movies in the series so far (haven't watched 9 yet, though). Though, for all the stupid they manage to cram on scene, there's always some very sincere moments that are genuinely emotional. I mean, who would've guessed it from a franchise whose core premise was "we just do everything while driving really fast."

That last scene, gets me goin when they talk about thats where he belongs. Then I calm down to when they race, tear up a little when Dom has his monologue, then when the "For Paul" shows on screen thats when it REALLY hits me and I bawl my eyes out.

I saw Paul Walker once. I was visiting my friend in Santa Barbara. She went to college there. We are from Northern California. We were walking down State Street in Santa Barbara. I locked eyes briefly with a guy sitting at the outdoor area of a restaurant. I recognized him but it took me several steps to really realize. I'd never seen an actor or celebrity before. He was dressed and looked very casual but his eyes were unmistakable. I didn't try to talk to him but my friend and I walked back by one more time. I loved The Fast and the Furious movie and he was my favorite actor in the movie. My friend was even luckier, she worked at a car dealership there (high end). She saw and talked to him a couple times.

I grew up with these movies, so I feel I have an emotional connection to the characters. Hearing that Paul Walker had died hit me harder than I would’ve thought, and when I saw the final scene in the cinema, I couldn’t hold it in. I was a mess. Such a tragedy, but a beautiful goodbye in this movie.
I can't believe they used the Hell's Kitchen theme whenever Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw came in. Especially with the last scene and the theme used whenever a chef contestant leaves the show. It's hilarious and perfect. I love it, never would've expected it😂

I remember seeing this in IMAX and having some of the most fun of my life. Jason Statham being the freaking Terminator, The Rock giving him a Rock Bottom, Roman coming up with and then carrying out his Wiley Coyote ass plan while screaming all the way down, and Rocky literally flexing out of his cast. And then when “See You Again” played I as well as more than 2/3 of the theater started crying our eyes out.

This is the second best Fast and Furious film in the franchise, the ending is still one of the best endings to any film ever! R.I.P Paul! This where the franchise should have ended but I understand why they carried on because of Paul but this had a perfect ending!

I remember after Fast & Furious 6 opened during Memorial Day weekend and broke records, Universal announced the 7th film for release in summer 2014.
I was pumped about James Wan as director, plot details, adding cast members and then some.
Paul Walker's death struck out of nowhere and the film.was pushed back.
We were all mourning as fans and the love was so well felt.
The cultural impact of this franchise grew stronger.
I saw this in IMAX.
Everything at level 10 for this one.
Thanks to F7, The Fast Saga became Universal Pictures' biggest franchise ever.

You know how fast those planes are going? If you wait 3-5 seconds, you are going to be FAR away. They definitely all jump together.
I believe they usually go right after the other, like not even an arms length apart, but you can find videos where they’re bunched together in a group and they just lean out and drop at the same time.
As someone that jumps out of planes. Yea they all jump out together. About less than a second between jump.

If you guys were wondering at what point of the film Paul had passed away during filming it’s right after Brian and Dom jump out of the car in the last building in Dubai after jumping from building to building when Dom says “Still miss the bullets Brian?” you can tell after noticing from that scene on its very clever CGI and facial swap with Paul’s brother.
It’s hard to tell honestly what his actual last scene was before he died since he did 2 months of F7 before the crash. Paul, however, was in more scenes after that scene where Dom asks him “Still missing bullets, Brian?” ‘cause in the next scene he’s talkin’ to Safar when he says “actually it was 3 buildings.”
Yeah, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what his last scenes were of filming because when they are filming, they don't do them in the order of movie sequence. For instance when the bomb went off at their house in the beginning that was his brother that got hit with the blast and when Mia ran to them to check on Jack to check if he was hurt. Mias call with Dom where she tells him Brian set up surveillance in the garage and that he's going to need Brian by his side that was filmed later after Paul's passing.

They shot a flashback scene of Gisele bringing a wounded Letty to the hospital but it got cut from the final movie. She's still credited in the opening though.

This movie had everything going up against it and James Wan still somehow managed to pull off a coherent film with all the ridiculousness yet still pay such a beautiful tribute to Paul Walker at the end. Those last few scenes from the beach to the last race are just so incredibly heartfelt because it transcends fiction, those moments are an entire cast saying goodbye to someone they loved in real life and keeping his memory alive. I saw this film at one of the special early screenings Universal hosted and Vin Diesel made an appearance at my screening to thank the fans for continuing to support the Fast Family after everything that's happened, and it was so amazing of him to come too given he came straight from the hospital where his baby daughter had just been born, a baby daughter that he named Pauline after Paul Walker. There was such a love between this cast over the decades and I'm so glad they were able to finish this film and honor him the way they wanted to. I remember coming out of the early screening and in every viewing of this film in theaters, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. It's hard to imagine that a fast and furious movie was able to pull at the heartstrings this well.
BTW, y’all should definitely watch the trilogy of Star Trek movies from the two JJ ones and the third one by Justin Lin
I love how in this film everytime they're focusing on a mission you start to forget about Shaw and then he just shows up out of the blue, it's hilarious when you rewatch it haha

The first Fast movie came out the year I got my driver's license and, despite the fact that I was always more into classic and muscle cars rather than tuners, TF&TF was always just a major part of my life.
I hadn't seen a Fast movie in theaters since 2 Fast, but sorta had to go see this one to honor Paul Walker. Took my wife to see it just expecting to be entertained by nonsensical car stuff and watch Paul's last ride in the franchise.
I was crying by the end of the tribute sequence. I've never cried in a movie theater. What a perfectly made tribute. Honestly the best produced sequence in the entire film franchise.
This in my head canon is the last movie. All the newer ones are spin-offs and don't count! The end scene with Brian and Dom, when I saw it in the cinema I don't think there was a dry eye in the house! Such an emotional send off and very well done. Will always be my fav out of the series for that reason.

You're the first people I know who noticed the historical significance of the Terracotta Warriors. I saw this in the cinema, my husband cringed at them destroying the car but I was actually angry about them smashing the Warriors, even if they are only replicas.
