Helpful tips. I've gotten very good at doing this from day to day, week to week. It's planning the future and being consistent with it that needs work on!
Another good way to mitigate time wasting is to prepare everything the night before so as to effectively manage your time. I learned how to do this in college and still do it to this day.

Planning and thinking are really synonyms... planning is the act of thinking... thinking is the act of planning. Thinking is effortful and harder for those with ADHD. Translating what you are saying it takes lots of energy day in and day out to think consistently every day. The trick is how do you make thinking easier. Yes, laying things out the night before to remove the need to think the next day works.
      Booya!

God, this is such a hard one, considering how only a scant few things give us that dopamine hit to incentivize our actions. i can 'budget' my time until the cows come home, but when it comes to actually implementing those mindful changes, that glass wall slams down every time and refuses to budge. Which in turn makes everyday life a struggle both mentally and physically. :(

Be careful... managing time and executing tasks are two very different things. They both require thinking but in different ways.
Often tasks are not done due to ambiguity. Removing ambiguity very effortful thinking.
Putting a task on the clandare or budget your time for a task is just identifying a time slot.
In the end the glass wall is more often than not ambiguity or the level of cognative effort exceeds your capacity which is uncomfortable and you have an overrideing urge to escape that discomfort. The trick is to make thinking easier.
      thanks for posting!

Lack of time managment is not being able to visualize and sequence your agenda and schedule and calendar across time

In another post i stated... Planning and thinking are really synonyms... planning is the act of thinking... thinking is the act of planning. Managing time comes down to thinking. Thinking (Towards a goal) is so hard for those with ADHD the escape to other things. The key is to find ways the make thinking easier... which is why wall calendars are helpful.
Dave, as always thanks for posting
