Maldini Best Defender of all time! He is a GOAT with Beckenbauer, Ramos and Nesta for me! But Roberto Carlos was a different Level!! Strong in defense, very very fast and Physis not from this Earth!
But the decisive factor for me is his offense, there is nothing comparable!!!
Marcelo has the slightly better technique, but Carlos has power throws, crosses like a god and probably the most powerful shot and free-kick of all players!!!
Bro Marcelo was the most skilled left back of all time. And is easily number one for me. The guy is so unpredictable. During crunch time he could make a run and cross it for the goal or take the ball dribble past everyone through the center and score.
Ashley Cole in front of Marcelo?? Everybody agrees that you could not have asked for a better man to pick up Roberto Carlos' mantle, and Marcelo won 5 UCLs, and is probably the most technically skilled player on the list
