Hi Tammi! I think your Dad is right about the front. Hard to tell right now, but in the future, it will give a slightly better view of the surface roots and trunk flare. Your branch choices and pruning decisions were brilliant! Ramification will come with time - every year, there will be a bit of branch selection, and it will get better and better!! Ohh Lexi! I'm so sorry your Dad doesn't have enough of his own trees that he has to mess with yours (and James's apparently)🙄🙄 I think your final design will be a winner despite his best efforts. Everyone's personal pruning choices are exactly why no two trees look alike. I'm 100 percent on your side!

It was tough. they all know about directional pruning but like most children insist that they know best. Unlike the first video, I promised not to butt in with advice :)
I think I may struggle to stop Katarina from dropping in occasionally but as for the other three. I think life may take them away from bonsai stardom :)
I will not rate your childrens work. Someone told me that shosing ones favorite tree is like shosing ones favorite child. We are getting quite close to that, but I only have one child. I will definetely not pick your favorite child 😂😂. Great vid anyway! Happy you got your daughter involved.🙂👍
