Nice to see Nepo happy and smiling, all we get are struggling Nepo clips
Maybe if he spent less time being bitter (aka Gotham and Hikaru) he might be happier.
@@AW-fu4ok Explains why he's hanging around Andrea, they all hate Hiki.
@@AW-fu4okget off nepos nuts bud
Nepo is an amazing champion, no matter his results against Ding and Magnus.
What are you talking about? He is clearly struggling to watch Andrea’s chess
super gms are really a different breed, this guy sees things so much faster and better than eric or andrea goddamn
yeah the difference between even an IM and a 2700+ player is kind of insane
"This guy"
He's fucking Ian Nepomniachtchi. He won candidates twice in a row
@@MatheusC1729 agreed bro… luck is just not his side I don’t support him but ya great calibre player
@@MatheusC1729Calm down
@@MatheusC1729 Yeah he's good at losing world championship matches....
I’m so happy to see Nepo out and about, smiling, being casual and not stressed out.
I kind of felt bad for Nepo, he had so many chances in the world championship to win and he felt so much pressured to win and failed. I'm happy that Nepo is having a good time now
It was not about the pressure. The championship ended up veing decided with just a few blitz game that could have gone to any player. The real games ended up in a tie so he just was unlucky.
It was decided in 4 rapid games, which is still pretty long for players at their level. Ding won the last. Ding took a great risk playing for a win in a drawing end game when down in time. He earned it fair and square.
In soccer terms it's like one team suddenly goes all out attack in the 110th minute and scoring a decisive goal.
he made like 1,8 million just from his losses in the world championship, hes doing fine dude
@@serghonest9 Unlucky? The only element of luck in chess is whether you get black or white. Of all the games to say someone just got unlucky in, chess isn't it.
@@johnstahl3256 Blitz/bullet chess is totally different than classical chess. Sometimes you will see the moves, other you won't. This is true for 99% of players at the same level. There is a lot of luck involved to get into some positions while you're playing by iinstinct.
Even though Eric was lost in the endgame, he really pushed for stalemate like always, and probably would have achieved if not for the Nepo.
@@chainnvstr4034 I think a little hint here or there are enough for andrea to play in a totally winning position, but yes, she played very well despite the rating difference.
Nepo gambit
i hope nepo realizes how much the chess community loves him
“No one has ever won a game by resigning” -GM level comment there 😊
It's a famous quote from the 18th century
@@qe3boo-rz3zk 19th century it's from Tartakower
it's soooo common a saying but i get this is the botezlive channel - the absolute epitome of casuals of the casuals
also he said that tongue-in-cheek at that point in time...
@@shucklesorswow man you’re so cool for not being a casual chess player, sooooo cool
@@JamesDarby-cm9qr my 15-year-old nephew who only watches female content creators also gets mad in literally the exact same way holy shit
When Eric said not even your little birdie can help you in this position, Nepo already saw how to mate him. What a boss.
I don’t think I’ve ever liked and disliked a chess board at the same time before…
LOL I’m sorry we were trying out wobbly chess that day when Nepo happened to walk by 🤣
@@BotezLive it adds to the madness
@@BotezLive that's one of those ideas in life that sounds good at the time but in reality it's a terrible idea, like threesomes.
@@BotezLive Next level challenge : DRUNK wobbly chess !😁
Is that chess set actually $300???
When he said, "a pro would move closer to the clock." It really helped me understand chess on a different level.
I don’t really get it ?? Can you explain it to me
@@robarsavas1030 so you can hit the clock faster. But in online it does it automatically. Just little things.
@@robarsavas1030 He's saying to move the pieces that are next to the clock, as in A or B file, instead of the far side of the board. When you're in time trouble, you can save more time this way and potentially flag your opponent.
@@pepperbell616it's not about flagging the opponent. It's about building your time bank back. You can't really flag your opponent with an increment unless they are just bad.
I like the way nepo teaches. He asks questions you should always be asking yourself.
Nepo is a boss. He was like, “you are going to lose now”
Nepo was like Mafia boss level 99 here 😂
andrea, nepo, stafford eric, wobbly pieces :
exponentially more entertainment
"Nobody wins by resigning"
"Nobody loses by giving checks"
- Don Ian
Nepo is one the most interesting players in chess, very funny, very smart guy, he's youtube material for sure, and I still think he was better than Ding, but things happen
Nepo's problem is the same as Hikaru: too emotional
Well right now he probably is better than Ding. But prime Ding is a menace. You don't want to see him.
This really shows you why super GMs have lost their minds with the possibility of cheating. Andrea is an excellent player and would beat me every time, but 4 or 5 moves can turn an entire game around. Maybe it's also an opportunity for a cool series or type of content where weaker players play against the botez sisters but they get to tap in a super GM for like 5 moves of their choice.
That would be super cool!
What I would really enjoy is a comparison between the case where the weaker player choose the 5 moves when they want to be helped, and the case where the stronger player is the once deciding when to help - still max 5 times. And a further case where the strong player can just tell, max 5 times, "be careful here, this is the move where you should think well what to do, there is only one good move and it is not the obvious one".
Magnus stated that most of the skill difference is really in understanding _which_ moves are crucial, and that even just a simple "beep" when the board is sharp would be an amazing advantage.
This is just like cheating with an engine. A few good moves at critical moments can turn the game around and help defeat a higher rated player, while making him doubt himself bc he knows these are engine level moves. And a very entertaining content ofc.
O rly?
Nepo is the man! What i love about his play is that his never afraid of complications which leads to extremely dynamic games! Unlike certain other Top gms that too often play for the draw, Nepo seem to strive for more in every given position.
Your post reminded me of the recent horsey dance. :D
Which IMHO looks way more entartaining than drawing in a hidden way.
1:59 "cause you stopped talking"😂 accidentally trash talked to your super gm help
At 1:36 Can we please notice Eric Rosens "She knows how the horsey moves..." This is epic! Especially for a game with Botez :D - Great Job Eric!
Nice game. Good job Andrea!
Love to see nepo in a normal setting where he chats and chills.
Gm is watching and thinking, what the f they're playing😂
thank god eric rosen has the maturity to decide he doesn’t want to physically hurt people lol. Imagine that raw physical power left unchecked, rough and tumble bar fighter Eric Rosen is a scary thought
Nepo is such a vibe looool
Love seeing Nepo relaxed
Nepo should have paid you for the good PR you gave him via this video. Super nice to see him "coaching" the little gremlin.
Chess players don't need good pr
@@a.a163You're going to need good PR after the embarrassment caused by that comment.
@@EnoVarmacalm down. You’re not that slick.
Sounds like a challenge Erick...
Loved it :D
Nepo has a really cool voice, didnt know that till now lol.
the only way this board could be more infuriating would be if the valleys on the squares weren't centered
That was some fun content. Awesome seeing Nepo in the streets.
damn can Nepo be one handsome man
ikr??
Yesss. the most handsome guy in top 10 by far
@@ddenti99Most handsome from top 100 aswell.

I mean... yeah there are many chess grandmasters that I have ever beaten in chess before so, I don't look scared 😅
lmao Nepo backseating hardcore almost literally. Backstanding 😂
Nepoooo
I strongly believe that he will be a world champion. I really hope he is not discouraged by his defeat to Ding. Man, that hand tremor video footage is heartbreaking!
Nepo has a sense of humor! I like it 😂
I wouldn’t cheat on Andrea
The good news is, you won't ever have to. 😂
You wouldn't get to
oh my goooddd you have my baby nepo as a guest!!! I lovbe this video I love seeing him happy and smiling!!!
Ian pro tip#35: In time scramble move closer to the clock.
You did Eric dirty pulling out your pocket Nepo haha
That chess board looks so cool
Towards the end I finally looked down at the real pieces, how are you guys managing this with super wobbling pieces lmao 😂😂
nepo to us: genius super grandmaster while nepo to andrea: a radio who can just talk😅
Ian's the most likeable guy in chess
Dude got tired of the board blocking his view @ 1:40
i didn't know nepo was chill like that
Nice to see Nepo happy
The title should be Nepo and Botez hand and brain vs Rosen
"Hey... this is optimal."
Such a humble guy
Why the hell are the pieces wobbling💀
Nepo seems like a top lad , amazing video Andrea, I am drowning in Garnier as we speak
She is the most entertaining personality in the world of chess and beyond
Eric almost certainly played 1. e3 in hopes of ...e5 2. e4 to get a reverse stafford
"so you do know how the horsey moves" hahahahah
That board gives me anxiety.
andrea got top chess player to just beat the stafford guy
That's some shabby photoshop on the garnier bottle lol
Andrea becoming a Nepo baby.
The way Andrea was able to focus while the dude(Nepo) was talking in the background was grandmaster level.
So sad to see nepo lose over and over, still great
@@humanbean3 100% he’s great, but I’ve seen him lose like every time
First time I see "Garnier Fructis" product placement in a chess video. They must be going really hard for the Chess psychographic!
My favorite part-time content creator/streamer
What a crazy chess set. Kind of funny. Weeble wobbles.
haven't seen Nepo happy in a while
Way to go Andrea!!!!!
Never challenge that "birdie." pro tip
That chess board gives me anxiety
Likeable Nepo is the best Nepo
2:39 the best moment of the game 😂😂😂
Nepo is the sweetest man............such a lovely human
Nepo is the rizzmaster9001 with that beard
Ray getting his 15 seconds of fame in the background.
Nepo is like the friend that you watch a movie with that they've already seen... and can't stfu before important scenes!
Is this the chess board at which Hans gets nervous whenever a pawn is moved?
Well, Eric, you poked the bear. When Nepo says "sounds like a challenge", he smiles, but inside he is like: "Ok, Eric, now there is no way in hell you are going to win this, I'm gonna make sure of that."
Is nepo slammin that
WOW Nepo looks great-I didn't even recognize him from the thumbnail
Distraction gambit
The Garnier Fructis 😂😂
good game and nice checkmate
Is that Julian Proleiko in the background? 😂😂
So no one is going to talk about the wobbly chess pieces
What’s the logic behind this move, please explain it to me

Prince Nepo teach me too. What luck girl Andrea is.
That chessboard is pretty amazing.
Glad you specified that it was "in chess"
I was hoping for a hidden electronic device.
That's so last year...
Which stream is this video from?
I love julian in the backround
That board looks painful....
This Garnier placement looks almost real... Almost...
Arrggghhhh those pieces are wobbling 😂😂😂😂😂
3:10 .. pretty sure he says "well, I prefer a different kind of boxing"
Nepo didn't find that perpetual check against Ding. Wonder about that sometimes 🤔
Botez Gambit Denied Nepo Variation Snitch Nowarra attack
Nepo is a prince! Fun vid.
Nepo so fuuny lol
That board looks terrible for time scrambles.
