It's not uncommon, most insects use vibrations to "see" so to them the sounds of music can sometimes blind them or even increase their sight like a bat with "advanced echolocation" that basically means they don't have to produce the sound to use it to view their surroundings
Yeah, Henry is like my younger brother who always tell random "scientific facts" to either explain unexplainable things, or to make it convenient for him. Well, I guess we both do that, and the fun part is that it has a higher chance to be true than false. They aren't serious topics though, just fun conversation, and our youngest sister now always doubt even when the info is true.
Idk, this seems like a harmless thing to do since it also helps train us to differentiate true from false information.
Which is a very useful skill to learn now that there are too many fake news and other false info in the internet.
It's never about trust, since it's just casual talk. I always trust them when we have serious talk.

As a person thats lived with cats most of my life, them being not responsive in their sleep like that is one of the scariest things you can go though because there are a few seconds there you will think they died, its a few seconds of your heart breaking before they wake up.
@@arklytte Yeah, kitten and puppies both do that. They don't have any moderation settings, for lack of a better term, so they just switch off when they get tired. Human babies also do it sometimes.

My 2 cats do that regulary and yes your heart always drops. Than i start blowing air to there ears and the ears always react (i think they won't react if they are dead but didn't happen thankfully)

As a parent, the checking on you at night is a habit from when your kids are really little...and you frequently check to make sure they are safe while they sleep. So when they get older, some parents still do it out of habit
Boy then my parents must have his habit ingrained in their brains because i am 22 and they still do this with me
Sometimes they just miss you too. Or at least thats what my mother claimed.
As a father with 3 kids, I often do this for a couple reasons. 1 - Young kids need more sleep because their brains are developing so you want to make sure they are sleeping. 2 - You want to make sure they are comfy, not too cold or something like that. 3 - You just want to look at them. Kids grow up so fast and when they are sleeping you can just marvel at how amazing they are in that innocent state before they wake up and drive you crazy.
No, they do it when you are older to make sure you are actually sleeping so you are not tired and cranky in the morning.
I do this shit with my fiancé when I'm downstairs and she's asleep, I check up on her to make sure she's still breathing XD

That game is super hard though. For every jump or direction change you need to tap and it gets ridiculously fast but it's very addictive at the same time. Be warned!

6:15 to her defence: we have a fireplace and we always prefere matches over lighters because, if you angle the lighter (even the lon ones) down...the flames often becomes tiny. While a matches flame becomes bigger in size, when holding vertically.

Cement bricks are very strong in compression but very weak in shear. By placing the cement brick as he did it created a weakness by using shear to break it.
The trick to opening a jar:
- Take a spoon and hold it by the spoon.
- use the edge of the spoon handle and wack it a couple of times on the lid's edge. Not too hard to break the glass mind you.
- that would break the seal and the lid will come right off.
Well, you can also hit hard enough to break the glass, it is gonna open the jar either way.
You can also just be strong enough to open it or by one of those jar openers that just adds a lever to the jar making it easier
You could also just open it.

12:15 - this is why I'm a light sleeper and wake up to every change in light and any movement around me.
the only exceptions are when I am exhausted.
I'm pretty sure all parents check to make sure their kids are sleeping. My bed time was 9 (it got progressively later as I got older, but that is where it was for most of middle school) and my parents would turn in around 11. I knew I couldn't risk playing any games until after they went to bed so I would force myself to stay awake for 2+hours until I saw them peek in through the door
I justed always played or read a book lucky for me I'm a floor above my parents and I always hear it when they use the steps to my Room so If I heared steps i shut dowen the light and put myself in the wirdest position on the bad most of the time 1 arm hanging from my bad or something else (i realized before that I'm always waking up in this wird positions so I fake my sleep position this way) worked fine think I got caught 2-3 times in my life.

I too played this game with my father:
my bedroom was right next to the living room with just a corner between.
So I trained myself to get out of bed silent, sneak to the corner and watch TV over they heads.
Sometimes it worked, sometimes you retreated a bit to late but it improve my sneaking skills a lot.

Jeannie a little tip for opening glass jars get a metal spoon put it under the lip of the jar and push the handle twords the side of the jar until you hear a little suction sound or a little popping sound ( both indicate pressure release in the jar and it will open easily)

It was so simple, she just had to tap the lid on a hard surface just to shake it loose

The problem why jars are so hard to open is there is a Vakuum inside (you put something hot in it close the lid the air in the jar cools dowen and gets compressed this way. If you hit the lid threw the vibration some air gets into it and it's easy to open (second method is head the jar up).
