It is so fascinating to me how different things were back during these interviews. There’s less pretense less over production just two people having fun. I miss those times on television.
I've watched two interviews so far this one and Sarah Jessica Parker. People seem at home on this show, I guess because they all know each other as actors. I can't imagine someone bringing a baby on a talk show today lol. Plus those chairs look so comfy
I agree with you . . . but still. As lifelong huge fan I can't help but cringe when I see Madonna's actions today. The fake butt, the grill, the ridiculous get ups. Madonna was always so well dressed when she wasn't on stage. She had style and sophistication. I don't see that in her today and it hurts.
@@phd2007 I know, I know, I kinda feel the same but people are still talking about her, she's still famous so she's doing something right. And we are her og fans so 🤷♀️
She was a goddess to me growing up as well. I understand as well nobody likes to feel or be labeled as old and Madonna is and should be no different. But yeah at times she kinda comes across as trying too hard imo
John Marlowe But the thing is, Madonna has always done these things that she does now. And if she wouldn’t, people woulf constantly write how she turned old. I rather have her be a lil crazy than to turn into this older singer enjoying her life in private.
@@daenerysmax6267 It's not her growing older that is the problem, even i got older! But its depressing to see that she has lowered her musical standards, taste, style, and aura just to compete with these mediocre younger entertainers, you cant expect a life long fan to go from loving songs like " The Look of Love" "Rescue Me" or Cherish" to "Bitch im Madonna" a tasteful seasoned legendary performer should never degrade or lower their artistic standards just because of aging. 😰
I loved watching Roseies show in the 90s ! I really loved watching the guests stars she had on her show ! Dont know if I saw this one but did watch her pretty much every day with James Danelle while Mom and I babysat in the 90s ! I saw pretty many of her shows every 5 days a week and may of seen this but dont remember too well maybe its my age Idont know Im 65 !
This is the Madonna we all love and miss! Even though I do have tickets for her current world tour, I just don’t recognize this “person” she’s become. 😢
While I understand, and I’m also going to this tour, she’s the same persons she’s just older and I truthfully think she’s doing what she’s always done, it’s just hard for a 64 year old to stay relevant when ageism is against them. She’s always pushed boundaries and she’s still doing that at this age. I also think she’s scared of getting older. She has young children, she still absolutely loves her career but can’t do what she used to because she’s aging. The only hint really different is the plastic surgery. I unfortunately had a gut feeling shed do this and go too far with it. But when see her in the show, look for those moments that reminds you of this Madonna. You will see reminisces of her… she’s still there. ❤️
People do the same thing when buying tickets to see The Rolling Stones. It gives them the right to say "I saw The Rolling Stones' even though they are a fraction of what they used to be. A sliver. Fast forward - we all see how bad those new Madonna concerts look ! Just depressing and over-wrought . @@est6661
A lot of guests were so comfortable and "free" with Rosie. She was such a great host and her talk show was great! Loved episodes when she had *NSYNC on coz they had great chemistry!
I don't think that I've ever watched an interview with her in which she seems both so relaxed and unaffected. It's like being in an alternate universe.
Motherhood did great things to Madonna. She took a break from being a diva and became a normal, real, down to earth person...and also made some of her best music, no, some of THE best music, ever made. Man, I'm getting all misty eyed for the late 90s now! haha
I'm sorry Katy Perry but Madonna did it first. Parodying her own music singing on the subject of her recent motherhood (now we have "Roar"). You can't count the number of times this lady paved the way for the future generations.
True story: I was 15 at this time and my 13 year old friend got in a fight with another girl in a chat room (remember those?) She said "YOU ARE MADONNA'S BABY!!" Lol it makes me rofl now. Now seeing Lourdes grown up it doesn't seem like an insult at all lol. Lourdes is beautiful and looks like her mother
This is the most normal I've ever heard Madonna talk!!!!
FR I was just gonna say that
Because that’s literally her best friend. Only your bestie can do that lol
They've been friends since 1991.
You know it’s only in the last 5 years Madonna seems really detached
@@jgg59 that's true, idk what happened
How beautiful she was in this era

Madonna looks stunning here
These two at the end is great. 12 minutes and 44 seconds of my mid teenage years. 🥂
Yep... later teens for me; born in 79. So, yeah❤️🤗
This was awesome, love Rosie and Madonna together,so fun to watch, makes me wanna watch a league of their own again!!
yay lets traumatise children
They had down to earth conversations in their day
I was 12 years old watching this when it aired…now I’m almost the age Madonna was here. 🤦🏻♂️

I love the chemistry between you two.
I love Rosie. Wish she still had a show of some sort. She's just fun!
It is so fascinating to me how different things were back during these interviews. There’s less pretense less over production just two people having fun. I miss those times on television.
Well these are two actual friends. Madonna has very few long term friendships and this is one of them.
Miss the good ol talk shows ❤️❤️❤️
This is so great to watch, Madonna was so much fun and really love Rosie too. 💗
Why are so many people critical of Madonna now? People change thru their lives. I still love her.
such and incredible interview! Madonna is so funny!
Beautiful Madonna.
Long time friends Madonna and Rosie loved this interview❤ Lovely outfit Madonna's wearing too❤😁
Gorgeous outfit 🥰❤
I miss 90s clothes.

I think Rosie was the only one who could truly interview Madonna and it be extremely down to earth.
She is very beautiful here
if this was done today, everyone will be freaking out.
Two larger-than-life ladies. I will always love them!
This is the most normal conversation Madonna ever had with Rosie and it’s nice to see them talk together
