I lived in erie as an exchange student back in 2007 i visit again in 2014 and i love my small city 😊
I used to live in Erie in 1986 and left that year. Haven't been back since. Its refreshing to see most of the things since then are still there. I have to plan a trip to go back there someday soon.
My home town! Weird to see how much Waldameer Park has changed since I worked there! And how much has popped up over 30 years!
We have a permanent camp at Sara's I'm up there all summer. Scott Park is my favorite place to stroll around. The trees in that forest are HUGE!!!
You’ve made me excited about my hometown again. Especially now that it’s getting cold. Many things to do this next spring/summer now!
Love to hear that Mark-thank you so much!
This looks like a very well rounded, affordable city. Thanks for your efforts.
You're welcome! There's definitely a lot of cool things to see and do in Erie.
i was looking for places to move to and it looks good. i like the house prices
Did you Manage to Move in Erie.is it Cheaper
My hometown! ❤
Great video but the hotel situation is my only hangup, the choices and price are a little over the top for that area. I've stayed in places around all the world, I don't mind paying for things that are worth it but I'm not going to give it away because people think you have to charge way more than needed. That's why so many decide to stay around the Millcreek mall area at more affordable accommodations.
Hope to visit my hometown again one day.
My wife and I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites. We booked the most expensive room in the hotel, just below Oliver's restaurant. The room was great with an excellent view and the food at Oliver's was incredible.
I really enjoyed my stay there. Here's a link to my Hampton Inn & Suites video if you're interested: czcams.com/video/3MTFB1CQnRo/video.html
I love my city
What a great video!
I’m thinking about buying a home there.❤
Thank you and good luck with buying a home!
Awesome video. Brings back pleasant memories even though much has changed over the years.
Thanks Mary-glad you enjoyed the video!
I like it very much
Beautifull 😮😊
Nice ... good video ... Erie Is my home town and I too like the Sheraton ... Try the Courtyard Marriott next time, another of my favorites. I visit my sister usually a couple of times per year!
Thank you. Yes, Erie definitely has some great Bayfront hotels.
@@AndysAwesomeAdventures also if u arent going to bayfront we have tradition of shopping at Millcreek mall over black Friday weekend the ppl at town place suites next to mall interchange road cant be beat its clean breakfast a plus n the service is always amazing!! We always stay there made mistakes of trying other places but town place is it!!0
Andy, Kelso is one of our favorite family vacations each year because of all of these reasons 😊 Thanks for highlighting such a hidden gem!
You're welcome-glad you enjoyed the video!
When my friend and I in Erie, PA, We like to eat at a local chain restaurant called Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. Delicious food there!
Cheddars is as local as Olive Garden...

I love to go to Presque Isle in summer on windy days. The lake gets waves and it cools you off. Great kite flying days. Always hit Franks in Fairview for flowers, produce and decorations.
& Eat and do some mini bowling 🎳 at Hooche an Blottos a one of a kind family time & good time !!!
Hi Andy, enjoyed this Erie video. My friend Deb from college grew up in Erie. Bonus: got to see my kid in this video👍 yay! Ann
Cool-yes, your daughter does have an important cameo!
I live 16 miles west of Erie. I'm also 1 mile from Lake Erie Community Park.
What do you think of Erie?
I rarely make it to Erie. I'm in Lake City, between it and Girard, I have plenty of places to shop and buy groceries.
Damn, I didn’t know Erie Pennsylvania had 30 roads leading out of it
Yes, it does. Never mind the fact that 2/3 of them go to the middle of nowhere out in the county. 😂
Such an awesome place
I will visit definitely
Hows the crime situation?
Very dangerous
@@johnj.baranski6553 😮
It’s not great on east side of city but anywhere else is as safe as can be . There are no hoods, just rougher areas at night but still not a ton of shootings , once again only on the east side of the city of Erie , mill creek is great
Most everything is in Millcreek or sumitt the brig is hardly ever in Erie
Is there a Erie, Lackawanna railroad museum?
I don't think so, but there is a museum in Hornell, NY.
Hi my name is Robert I was born in Erie now I live in Houston I miss it
You skipped the Meadery in Greene Township?
Sorry, don't know what that is. My Top 30 is based on the things I had seen and done in my two trips there, but obviously, I'm not able to cover everything.
@@AndysAwesomeAdventures they make traditional viking mead with honey. We have every form of alcohol covered
i’m here and i think it sucks
Don't make a wrong turn at night.
Even though we are home to the poorest zip code in the entire United States of America.. I still love where I live! I'm an eriite through and through! I remember when we were an industrial town and had a higher population. It saddens me to see what Erie is today!
What does the zip code encompass aside from erie to make it the poorest in the usa?
PI and the bayfront are really the only attractions in Erie. Dont get caught on the east side after sundown
I'm from Erie lol
I went there for Chuck E. Cheese but they are getting 2.0…
The number 1 thing to do in Erie is get the heck out of there and go to a real city like Pittsburgh Buffalo or even Cleveland if you're desperate
Have you been to Erie?
