Why the turbo 4? And the "max" being a hybrid... What where they thinking.
They’re pretty much being forced to by government regulations. You don’t see them doing stuff like this in 3rd world countries

Normally the 4Runner has been on the Land Cruiser Prado chassis. With the "new" Land Cruiser coming out, and it actually being an un-named Prado, what chassis is the 4Runner on?

I took a 2020 trd pro to the volcano bowl in Arizona and it did great over the jumps and terrain. Only thing lacking was power. This is very intriguing!?

Lol welcome to the present and future. Its only a matter of time before all of these new vehicles reveal major and/or common problems with their electronics and i'm sure with all of these new engines and transmissions...as soon as you pay it off it'll be time for a new one. (That's if you can afford all of the ridiculous costing repairs along the way). The diy repairs will be a thing of the past unless you get lucky and just have to switch out a easy to reach electronic componet.
You can blame the epa for that.

Turbo technology isn't new. There are loads of high mileage turbos out there which go through the same amount of stress.
