I think it looks absolutely amazing! It is a huge style improvement. I love it! It looks rugged, but modern. Based on the the new more angled lines, the have certainly reduced the drag coefficient. The beauty is that, they haven’t _changed_ it. It is still a 4Runner, but refreshed and beautiful!
The interior is perfect! Technology and f***** knobs and buttons as there should be!
I think is a massive win! This is what car manufacturers should be doing.
say whatever you wanna say about it, I think this gen is cooooooooool!!!!
YES I AGREE
Sounds like a vacuum cleaner
Toyota USA, Your videos always make me happy, so I subscribed!
That Trailhunter color is beautiful ❤❤❤
Official name is Everest.... and yes it's a brilliant color with the bronze accents.
Right now is a lot of money if you thinking to buy a car but this 4runners look sick 😂
All new, but still a 4Runner! Great job @toyota!
Love the LED lighting up front! A really rugged 4x4. Thanks Toyota.
Keeping the 5th Gen til the wheels fall off.....so i guess forever.
I've been waiting a long time to see this! Can't wait to order one!
The last 4Runner I owned was a 4th Gen. But this 6th Gen just might bring me back!
Outstanding! What are the Trailhunter's approach/departure angles?
Looking so good! Hopefully I can afford one of these new gen Toyota/Lexus
Estuve esperando por ella , nunca perdi la fe en esta nueva generación. Gran trabajo toyota ❤️🙏🏻
Beyond excited for the trailhunter trim. Have a blessed day everyone.
Toyota you outdid yourself this time! Looks absolutely amazing.
Outdone themself? they didnt spend much time on it even!
it looks so good!
front bumper reminds me of my 2002 3rd gen
My buddy designed the front bumper! I’m glad you like it.
@@Cblackkthey clearly did their homework
Which I like, one glance and you can still say it’s a 4Runner it’s not trying to be something it’s not
3rd gen is still king of looks in my book. I don't like this one. The wheel flares are fake like on the new tundra. They added the black part to stick out a little more which helps but still not as nice as it could be. They should've didn't a little more time designing it and getting American feedback
@sashimisashimi9729 it was designed America. It looks very American to me too
it looks simply gorgeous though in all variants especially the the trailhunter variant 😄👏😍
Great job Toyota!
5th gen still got it.
5th Gen problem is the 15 year old interior and abysmal engine
@@daltonmeredith6790 yaa but no recall love letters in the mail :
@@alh5470 I agree but who cares about recalls. They don't cost anything and it gives you an excuse to drive something new.
Definitely
@@daltonmeredith6790 5th gen have more style than All the plastic on the new 6th generation one.😂 Makes the 5th gen look like a lexus to me. I just sat in both. You would have to be Ray Charles to not see it. Go look for yourself 🤣 Oh and that 4cyl drives LOUD for that big 4runner. NO THANKS. Didn’t know small loud engines are not considered abysmal coming from someone Who has owned economy vehicles. Bigger engines drive more luxurious. You might want to re check your decision. 😉
Bad ass cars and Awesome Facelift of 4RUNNER ever!!!
Too bad you have to make an income of $250,000 a year to be able to comfortably afford one of these new 4Runners
@CookieMonster_ 40k with a 20k dealer mark up for a base model
Love it. Great job with the design Toyota!
Trail Hunter with snorkel niceee
It's a high-mount air intake.
@@krninja22 yes thats what a snorkel is......
Wow 🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
LOVE IT ❤️
Thanks for sharing your excitement about the 4Runner! 😍
Looks amazing ❤
When will we see the SR5 and TRD Off Road?
This is nice!! Great work Toyota!!
OMG IT'S FINALLY HERE, YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still own my 1997 Toyota 4Runner Limited I bought new in the fall of 1996. That was almost 28 years ago and it is my daily driver. I am an avid skier and I found that my 4 wheel drive has given me the confidence to drive up to the slopes in all weather conditions. My car needed very little repairs for 250,000 miles. I will be honest this new generation has sparked my interest. I think I will be a serious buyer coming this fall. This new generation has all the updates I would had wanted in a 4Runner which included a new design, a new modern interior, stability upgrade along with a power train upgrade. My favorite interior is the brown/tan leather. I would like to see that offered in all the models. I do like the darker gray color with the tan leather option. There are so many new models to choice from. I will wait until fall to see what model will work for me.
We love to hear this! 😍 We know there is a lot to consider. We can't wait to see you testing drive a new 4Runner when the time comes! Do you have a favorite memory with your 4Runner?
How many miles , before catastrophic engine failure, can we expect out of your high pressure/high heat turbo charged engines? And how can a hybrid cross small rivers?
Can’t wait for the 50th Anniversary of the 4Runner!
Looks like an updated 4th gen to me, but tha'ts a good thing
Really liking this 6th gen, good job Toyota
I already miss the V6 😢
I’ll be so happy that it’s finally more efficient and more responsive.
The nailed it!!
Thank you Forbes
2025 Toyota 4Runner Refines Adventure Ready Heritage. ⇒ New 4 runner further awakened! Very, very cool!✨✨✨
Yes please
💯 here for it! White TRD Pro or ORP!
All I can say wow!
Toyota keeps hitting the mark everytime.
Only question I got now is how much are they going to raise the MSRP on it because I was just planing to get a new vehicle in less than a year and I think 4Runner is at the top of that list.
In Pakistan, we call it the Toyota SURF, sadly, we will not get this 6th generation here, really stylish looking 4x4
Wow
Land Cruiser 250 Series Rear Bar Installation ??
NICE
I need to make a reservation asap!!!
Nice😍
Yes!
I really hope that they keep the classic silver color !!!
PERFECT 😎👍 TOYOTA ❤️
Hybrid.... Toyota gets it!!!
Exterior looks great, but like most new cars, I find the interior to be cluttered up with needless tech. Give me minimal knobs and buttons and ditch the ridiculously huge touch screen.
Love my ‘99 4Runner.
❤❤ nice
WHAT. IS. THE. MILES. PER. GALLON?!?!? (And why isn't this info in any of the promo materials along with all the other features/specs?)
Probably. Not. Great.
Probably similar to the Land Cruiser.
Should be similar to the Taco since the Taco has same engine. 19/23/21 (city/hwy/combined). Might come in 1mpg less since it has more curb weight.
Barely improved. Not sure why they changed the engine at all.
@@lewisroyer3411 because the engine that's in the current 4runner won't pass the upcoming emissions standards without a redesign.
They will sell a ton.
I watched this commercial like 10 times already
Rookie… I’m close to 20 😅 Traihunter it is!
@@solooverland3666 😂😂 the base SR5 is all I need nothing more lol
nailed it out of the park. I can't say the same for the sequoia or tundra
Reminds me of a smaller (normal sized new Sequoia)
Where is the foglamp
That thing should be awesome in the mall parking lot
yes!! Finally!
Hell yeah
Good Toyota USA Good Toyota USA Introducing The All New 6Th Generation 4Runner Good | Toyota
Looks like a Sequoia, Taco, and a Tundra.
Want this thing soooo bad🙌🏻🙌🏻
It's a need! 🤩
It’s a four-cylinder no you don’t want the heavy thing
Land Cruiser 250 GR sport ??
かっこえー
Well, I’ve had a 5th Gen 4R for 9 years and was excited about all the potential for innovation on the 6th Gen, especially since Toyota had time to see some of the amazing innovations that came on the Ford Bronco but I am super bummed Toyota! You nerfed the approach and departure angles, longer wheelbase, longer overall length for less agility off-road. The double stacked handle bar mustache up front is cringey. The cargo compartment on the hybrid models have a very high floor! (the Trail Hunter! Really!?). No room for throwing on 35” tires and looks like chopping and cutting on the 6th gen will be far more difficult than the 5th gen to get larger wheels on. Really wide flat front end- too wide looking, takes away the “4Runner” character and gives it a Tundra/Sequoia copy-cat look. Some weird styling around the lower rear bumper sides that seems like an afterthought. Overly large boxy wheel wells that make 33” tires seem too small but you can’t put on larger wheels. Seems cramp in the 2nd row even though it has 3” longer length than the 5th Gen. Not a fan of the huge model name stamped into rear hatch. Not a fan of the huge rectangular black plastic chunk under the rear window: why is that there? Are there sensors built into that giant thing or something? Not a fan of the huge “TOYOTA” emblem above the glove box, yuck. Also, the profile view looks nearly identical to a Taco. I want my 4R to have a different look. Although the 2024 Taco has a much better front end look than this new 4R, sadly. Best thing going for this new 6th gen is the interior styling and tech. But that’s not why I would buy a 4Runner. I feel like this whole platform is now an afterthought for Toyota. Plus, I think the shared/common frame platform across too many vehicles is severely limiting design for performance (such as ruining the Offroad approach and departure angles). I’m also wary of hybrid system complexity for a hardcore off-roading vehicle but without it, the 2.4L engine just seems too weak for task. It’s a sad future for off-roading vehicles with all the new govt regulations that are hamstringing automakers these days. Real shame. Can’t get interested in this new model when the 5th Gen outperforms it. Get ready 5th gen owners for your value to hold up well long term. That 4.0L V6 is rock solid for everything you can throw at it. Hope Toyota gets some new body styling out after the 2025 model year for the fenders and bumpers and hood. Not a pretty look on the release year.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Is it true this new 4Runner will only have the 4 cylinder like the Tacoma? Please please please put a V6 in it please?
yep i4 only
Fking sick commercial prob the best Toyota commercial ever!! Agree >>>>>👍
I love it❤,now a 2 doors baby 4Runner please 😂😂😂😂❤

Yall complain about the 4Runner not being updated when it does yall still complain like!?!?
🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿 керемет 👍🏽
Toyota used to be basic now their cars are just luxury 🔥 Looks like an American car
No one driving this off-road like this with right off the showroom 😂
❤
I greatly prefer this to the land cruiser. No hybrid, should be a lot cheaper, roll down rear window and the styling reminds me of a first gen. I do wish there was more open air...the standard size sunroof is a let down. A manual would be awesome as well! Dont really understand why the land cruiser exists at all, this is on same platform and has sweet rear window and lower price. GX is the same price as LC essentially with more power, nicer interior and more options
Everyone's broke nowadays make a super cheap hardtop jeep wrangler competition. Comon man... you know, the thing
日本での復活を望む‼︎
日本向けに右ハンドル仕様を作るのは簡単だったでしょうが、2009年以降は作られていません。個人的には、日本で買えないのに日本製と言うのは、かなりバカげていると思います。

Impatiently waiting for dealership arrival
We would love to see you behind the wheel! What entices you about the 4Runner?
@@toyotausa
Brawny look , ground clearance, a lot of horses , capability.
Once 2025 TOYOTA 4RUNNER arrives to the dealership , will go for a fitting and take it from there.
I saw the press conference to reveal on APRIL 9 on a CZcams AND WAS DELIGHTED.
This is what SUV is supposed to be.
@@toyotausa
My FOREMOST objective was and is to survive WINTER WEATHER that can turn quite cold , icy , snowy et cetera at times.
I expect that 2025 TOYOTA 4RUNNER will be highly capable to survive potential SNOWSTORM.
Thank you for the kind words! Have you owned a Toyota before, or would this be your first?
@@toyotausa .
If it even FITS , it will be first for me.
My step father owned 2013 TOYOTA COROLLA.
Pretty useless under snowstorm advisory
I was looking forward to it, but hate the power plant options or lack thereof. Add the Tundra/Lexus GX non-hybrid options and we can talk. As it is the Sequoia, Tacoma, Land Cruiser Prado, and now 4Runner might as well not exist.
Agreed! And did you see how much higher the rear cargo floor is on the hybrid models!? It’s crazy high! No bueno for off-road camping trips. A hybrid pwr train for hardcore off-roading seems sketchy, especially river crossings.
Anyone here miss the old reliable V6?
Yes. Dropping that powerplant is a mistake. At least keep it as an option.
Does it have more than 5 gears? Or a v8?
8 gears. No V8. 😢
@@seth4321 but a hybrid 4cyl? At least no more 5spd. That things awful imo lol
@@ryanpandolfi4551 Say what you will, but I don't trust any transmissions over six gears. They all seem to grenade themselves after 100,000 miles. However, this is Toyota we're talking about. If anyone will do it right, it's them.
@@seth4321 hopefully they do, still rocking our 5th gen just wish for that extra gear for highway driving
@@ryanpandolfi4551 I hear ya. I reckon those 5th gens will go for 300,000 miles easily. Not so sure about these new ones, but hoping for the best.
Too bad I can't afford it
I’m jealous. But I have too much love for my 5th gen.
We hear you! How long have you been on the road with your beloved 4Runner?
Nothing to be jealous about about with that 4cylinder turbo/hybrid heavy battery. Keeping that V6 is the best thing you can do as im doing the same. They don’t tell you about More maintenance on the turbo and the complex hybrid system.
Is premium fuel required?
I still love the 5th generation but this is pretty cool still. WHEN IS THERE A HYBRID, come one Toyota 😢
epic
Love the classic wrap around rear quarter windows.
How about updating the Sienna?
Yes indeed
With regards to what? Infotainment? That's probably coming soon since it's the only car that still uses Entune.
its new already why do we need another refresh?
40 years and counting of pure QDR, TOYOTA ALWAYS NUMBER 1,
Look so badazz
