Hey Guys, I’m Alex Etches and I’m a golf professional and product reviewer. If you don’t know me, I started playing golf at 10 years old, turned professional at 22 in the UK, and have been creating entertaining and informative golf content on different platforms for the last 10 years. I’ve got over 500km on the clock of mine now, and aside from some early mishaps before I learned the ‘lock’ function on the remote was my best friend, it’s one of the best investments I’ve made. Josh in the shop convinced me the AT was a better option (he has played with me and knows where I hit it haha) and I’m glad I did. I even use it to pull me up the big hills, and if that isn’t testament to its power I don’t know what is!

Its funny i timed how fast it takes to fold the trolley. On my stopwatch it said it took you 16.7 seconds not 6 seconds

Seen more and more golfers walking courses here in the states with those. I would consider walking more if I had something like that.

In US that’s an electric push cart LOL. We don’t call them buggy’s. These things are awesome. I’ve been seeing more and more of them.

I've got the MGI navigator 2014 model, still going strong and have nearly killed the grandkids several times as they love sitting on it and daring me to buck them off. It's insane how they hang on.

Al i tried the Bryson speed training drill yesterday as per your instructions, besides my back thats tweaked, the dislocated arms and the amount of blisters on my hands i think it went well, i gained 2mph on club head speed.
I have owned an MGI Zip3 for just over 3 years and it is fantastic. Highly recommend. I use it year round (I am in Vancouver, BC Canada). A couple of caveats if you have crow problem on your course watch out, I recently had a crow press the power button when it landed on my buggy when it was scavenging for food from my golf bag - cover the button! Luckily it ran straight into a bench and spun its wheels for a couple of minutes. If you have a hill that has in excess of 10 degree grade and damp grass the buggy may have some trouble even with the stability wheel.
I don't know if you'll get this reply, but I'm also in Vancouver and considering getting the Costco equivilant of the MG Zip3 - the Zip2. But I can't find how it locks in place, ie brake, when put on a sidehill or a downslope. I know the Zip5 has an electronic brake. How do you manage?
I play on a hilly course - Capilano - and I just need to park it across the hill (and only if its steep) so that it does not roll away.@@scrumhalf4537

The basic X1 model does exactly what an electric cart is meant to do (i.e. make the walk more enjoyable) without the added possibility that you'll accidentally send it off into a pond. I've seen a number of folks with remote versions, and I haven't seen anything that would compel me to spend the extra $1000 US just so I can send my clubs way up ahead of me or spinning around in circles.
What an absolute unit.

I've had mine for just over a year, absolutely brilliant buggy, the only weakness is the MGI accessories for it, they're poorly made and I think overpriced. I found an All In 1 accessory made by Stadium Golf that really is a game changer, it carries everything you need in 1 tight unit, and the umbrella holder that comes with it is so much better than anything else out there.
I have that accessory too, it's awesome

My next big golf purchase is going to be an electric trolley, cart whatever. I really want one of these . Hadn’t heard of this brand before. Every course is should offer them as an alternative to carts.
This is a good Golf buggy and performs as the video suggests. This video clip does mention to avoid getting it ‘WET’.
This is not B.S…. My new MGI Navigator Zip A.T. buggy rec’d water damage after running into a drainage ditch. MGI warranty does not cover this. I thought it worth noting on here that my repair bill was in excess of 50% of the original purchase price! Additional insurance may help you? But be sure to read the fine print.

Just don't drive it through driving rain (where there is water on the fairways); mine has never been the same (noisy motors) that MGI refuse to repair under warranty saying I have flooded it (3 months old at the time of the event). It has vent holes underneath that probably let to much moisture in; a very bad design.

FYI, Canadians would never be caught calling it a trolley or a buggy, we call it a push cart because we are a blue collar country and are not afraid to do a little work. Also, Canadian stores only sell electric carts to golfers over 80 or with a medical note from a doctor because they care about how stupid you look on the course
