It’s cool because season 2 has already hinted at Yuji being able to see the soul because he remembered the girl that went to his middle school even though she looks completely different. Also when fighting the grasshopper curse he was able to guess what curse spirit it was pretty easily leading the curse to think Yuji is clever which is definitely not true.

Im going to stick with my theory: Before Sukuna slashed Gojo, they made a binding vow that they will continue their fight in their best form. If Gojo wins, Megumi will be released alive and well. I believe that was the part that was offscreened. Sukuna let Gojo's head intact for that reason.

The memory change thing was debunked by Gege. Apparently those were just different situations that had different contexts: Todo simply imagined a best friend relationship with Yuji, and as far as Choso well... he simply sensed Yuji is his 'brother' and imagined the scene in question.
I do believe that the theory Yuji. wlill become the vessel for Kenjaku's creature is right tho.

When you really think about it, being able to implant false memories in your opponent is one of the best abilities a brawler can have. He could make the opponent remember that Yuji did a feint and was going to attack from the left, which means the opponents stops blocking right which is where Yuji is actually going to attack from. Or, he could make the opponent remember that Yuji never hit him and leave him in psychological turmoil over having received damage. Memories are a super powerful way of messing with your opponent.

Kenjaku did a lot to create the perfect vessel for sukuna but what he probably didn't expect was that the vessel would have a soul in it powerful enough to suppress sukuna. What if in all his scheming he brought someone or something else from the past to the modern era. I mean Yujis ability to cause soul damage and to manipulate memories maybe just effects of one technique, Yuji is a rogue soul that hijacked the perfect body through reincarnation and his techniques are to eventually allow him to regain his memories _ I think he was actually a cursed spirit before, if a jujutsu sorcerer can become a cursed spirit who's to say the opposite isn't possible, especially considering that if the sorcerers where so powerful back then, they where facing powerful spirits.

Lol the moment I saw Sukuna force feed Megumi a finger I said wait...I thought the odds of surviving that were 1 in a million? regardless...during their first fight when he taunted Megumit with "c'mon...put more curse into it" reveals a lot about why Satoru and Kashimo lost. They wern't cursing their opponent, they were (apparently) just seeking validation. Destined to lose because they never intended to win, just prove to themselves they were strong.
Yuji genuinely hates Sukuna, especially now, so whatever CE he produces is probably going to have a related effect.

I've been thinking about yuji's curse energy for a while now. The fact that he implants himself into people memories seems more like that of imprinting on the soul. And I dont think its a technique as much as it is part of his cursed energy's nature. Especially since the explanation of yuji's initial use of CE was that "... your attacks are faster than your cursed energy can keep up with causing a dilation or a delay in distribution making it seem as though you attacked twice." I cant remember if that's exactly how it was worded and cant remember if this was something he changed through training, been a minute. Idk if because his CE nature is to imprint on thr soul that he's, like Sukuna did, dominating and erasing the soul of another but it's a idea I'd like to entertain until we see something.

i think its pretty much the case that yuji bonds with people at the level of the soul and does it freely without holding back hence he was able to recognize the girl who physically completely changed from the last time he had seen her the one who liked him.

Has anyone considered that Sukuna's line about "he's from that time" being another instance of Yuji's memory manipulation? It would make sense considering the fact that Yuji has always been a powerhouse, even when sukuna was in him, but sukuna didn't "remember" him until after he was outside of yuji's body. Further, I think yuji's body swap actually just rewrites both people's memories to THINK they have switched bodies.
Additionally, yujis ability to act as a perfect host is possibly just an extension of memory manipulation used to supress consciousness or similar.

@@SOLDAT_MENDES I have theorized as well that, because Sukuna is the only other person that we have seen cause these idyllic visions with other people such as jogo and kashimo, Sukuna also has the memory technique. That could also be the reason Sukuna seems to learn so fast and be able to do things on the first try, because he manipulates his own memory to relive a situation until he understands what he saw. Could be a bit of a stretch considering that people are saying Gege has debunked the memory CT.

I'm still not as hard for the writing after the "learned to cut space"; the implications of that are insane to me. I figured he wouldve adapted to *SPECIFICALLY* Gojos Infinity, but the ability to literally cut space is insane imo. Especially with no repercussions to it, like creating a black hole. Or being hard to control and be precise with.

I think it’s interesting we don’t know both Sakuna and Yuji’s real Cursed Technique even now. We know cutting isn’t the technique of Sakuna’s since Gojo mentioned it in their fight.
It means Yuji has his own technique and whatever Sakuna is hiding.
“The soul losing to the body” in Toji’s case could have been a hint that Yuji’s soul technique will trump Kenjaku’s body technique

Maybe memory manipulation is a curse energy property of yuji, perhaps the lag from yuiji's divergent punch is cuz he attacks the body first then the soul in a punch and it takes time for his curse energy property to sink in through the attack and when it was mentioned that emotions is a metabolic reaction of the soul it could be that yuji's emotions affected his oppenents by changing their memories using the variation in his curse energy property since he might have a spectrum of curse energy properties related to his emotions and so far the memories he created in them are positive which could be reflective of his soul/ identity a calamity to curses and curses = negative yuji = positive/ positive emotions which stems from good memories and experiences and that is how yuji will be devastating to curses by giving people good memory thorugh his curse energy property to lessen the curses being born and exorcising them
There's a theory where people say that Jogo praise by Sukuna is, too, one of Itadori's flashbacks, since if the premise of it to occur is to complete a "desire" then it would make sense, Todo wanted a friend (He has no friends), Choso wanted to kill Itadori, yes, buy since Itadori is he's half-brother then it would go against his desire to "protect and foster his little brothers" and finally Jogo was feeling like shit because he thought of himself as strong, but got his ass whopped.

So it sounds like yuji can save megumi based off of his understanding of the soul. I feel like gege is going to go along the lines of Yuji being able to attack the soul directly instead of physically (or at least more soul attacks than physical attacks) in order to preserve megumis. Also in that way he would be able to target sukunas soul vs megumis soul where as gojo was attacking both soul and body of megumi and sukuna (like when his domain expansion was transferred to megumi instead of sukunas soul). Yuji can pick specific souls to attack which is actually BUSTED. I wasnt the biggest yuji fan he was cool but this video gave a new light to his destructive abilities going forward.
I think the fact he can change people’s memories and its not a cursed technique means that nobody would have any type of defense against it because once it happens its too late making it a completely different power 😮

Todo lost his CT after touching mahito. Thus, the soul is connected to CT. Also, sukuna used jogo's CT while fighting jogo and mahoraga. This could be sukuna doingna demonstation of yuji's CT like how sukuna can use fushiguros CT. Yuji can use sukunas technique maybe becuase his CT allows his soul to take the information of his opponents CT.

I think Gojo is going to turn his eyes into cursed objects like Sukuna's fingers and have Yuji eat them. So it'll be Gojo + Yuji VS Sukuna + Megumi. It will bring the themes back full circle. Yuji ate a cursed object which started this shit and Yuji will eat a cursed object to end this shit.
Just imagine Yuji with the 6 eyes and its processing power, EVERY HIT WILL BE A BLACK FLASH!!! We've already seen how good he is with it, we might even see an upgraded version of black flash! I think that's the only counter to Mahoraga as black flash isn't techinically a curse technique it's more like crit.

interesting theory, If Yuji were to consume all the fingers of Sukuna, it's possible that he could gain access to the personalities and cursed techniques of each finger, similar to how Midoriya gains the quirks of previous One For All users. It's definitely an exciting possibility to consider.

I have one theory here about soul and body the theory is that if a soul can communicate by using memory so the body did same so is that means when sukuna possessed yuji his personality was insane and when he possessed megumi his personality become smart at some point he act like smart but still has himself so that means he's personality will get changes by choosing each body so is there any possibility that megumi will survive if sukuna soul and his memories altered because if sukuna can alter his soul in any other body but not memory so there will or can be a possibility that his memory also altered but he don't have his memory but megumi's memory if that happens i don't know what will happen but this is true that if megumi and sukuna's soul separated megumi will die because the body is megumi's not sukuna's so i think this is the only way to bring back megumi

I think Gege is showcasing fight scenarios of the main characters if they are at their peak or if the fight is a close match. In the previous fight, we were shown how a 10 shadows user deals with a 6 eyes user or what if a peak Megumi fights with Gojo. In this round, it's Yuji's turn. What if Sukuna and Yuji are closely matched and they fight each other. But in the end the final battle would be Sukuna vs Gojo. I think Gege is doing this because the manga is ending soon.

I believe that you can have a heavenly restriction on not just the body vs cursed energy, but via the mind, body, and soul. It's a ratio that plays a fundamental role in cursed energy or physical prowess. Somehow, Kenjaku played the ultimate heavenly restriction that acted as a loophole for cursed energy and heavenly restriction. His mother was obviously similar to the woman who birthed the curse womb paintings (i forgot what was birthed).
Maybe, being part curse and human, he could have the heavenly restriction on his human half for physical prowess, with his cursed half allowing him to still restain the ability to utlize cursed energy like any sorcerer.
I also guess that due to technically being birthed by 3 people, he would gain a heavenly restriction from all 3, having both a powerful soul, mind, and body and allowing him to be fully capable of utlizing the black flash. Though that seems a bit broken
Also, and or another possiblity, maybe the anti-gravity cursed technique was meant as a means to disable natural phenonena and that anti-gravity was just a lesser effect of the potential ability, similar to how six eyes brings forth the true power of limitless. Perhaps their were requirments neccecary to do this to allow for phenomena nullification to occur. (This is what I hope will happen, at least, maybe another way to defy the heavenly restriction somehow)
